I had no idea how EXCELLENT Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s record and life history is. I can say that I began a bromance wth Secretary Rubio today, February 17, 2026. So far I haven’t been able to find a single blot on the Rubio record, including the ever-important quality of his marriage. You can’t make this up….he married his high school sweetheart, Jeanette, a drop-dead stunner who has given the Rubio’s 4 cute-as-a-button tow-headed children, 2 boys and 2 girls. At 54 years old, Marco is the perfect age to run for President or Vice President in 2028. Tune in tomorrow and I’ll continue counting the ways Marco is perfect for either job. By the way, “little Marco” is of absolutely median male height in America at between 5’8″ and 5’9″! Nobody can even touch the appeal that candidate Rubio has with scores (many scores) of Hispanic Americans. It’s wonderful to see on Feb. 2, 2026 that the Bolshevik lying of “author” Michael Wolff that succeeded in getting MAGA patriot Steve Bannon dismissed from the Trump team (which Bannon so brilliantly led) in 2016 has now been rectified. Today Donald Trump posted a White House salute to Bannon. The love is back! And Trump goes out of his way to condemn the “sleazebag author” Michael Wolff. Nice. Wolff lied to Bannon, betrayed confidence and blurted out in his book that Bnnon had called Ivanka “dumb as a brick”. We saw it with Chinese laundromats, Thai restaurants, Vietnamese nail salons, Cambodian donut shops, and more.  For Indian Americans, one of those industries was the motel business. So in this episode, we're here to share the origin and history of the Patel Motels as well as how families got into the business in the first place. We also share some of the challenges the business owners faced in the U.S. on the road to becoming dominant in the field.  We start the episode by sharing what's on our social media feeds. In this episode, Michael Shermer talks with filmmaker James Fox, whose work has helped push UFOs, now often called UAPs, out of the tabloid shadows and into congressional hearings, radar logs, and sworn testimony. Fox has spent three decades interviewing fighter pilots, radar operators, intelligence officials, scientists, and firsthand witnesses. His conclusion is not that we know what these objects are, but that dismissing them no longer works. Around 90 to 95 percent of sightings collapse under scrutiny. The remaining cases do not. The question is: What are we supposed to do with what's left? James Fox is a film director widely regarded as one of the leading voices in UFO filmmaking. He is known for documentaries such as The Phenomenon, The Program, and Moment of Contact, several of which are frequently cited among the best UFO documentaries ever made.
