So in this episode, we're here to share the origin and history of the Patel Motels as well as how families got into the business in the first place. In this episode, Michael Shermer talks with filmmaker James Fox, whose work has helped push UFOs, now often called UAPs, out of the tabloid shadows and into congressional hearings, radar logs, and sworn testimony. Fox has spent three decades interviewing fighter pilots, radar operators, intelligence officials, scientists, and firsthand witnesses. His conclusion is not that we know what these objects are, but that dismissing them no longer works. Around 90 to 95 percent of sightings collapse under scrutiny. The remaining cases do not. The question is: What are we supposed to do with what's left? James Fox is a film director widely regarded as one of the leading voices in UFO filmmaking. He is known for documentaries such as The Phenomenon, The Program, and Moment of Contact, several of which are frequently cited among the best UFO documentaries ever made.

She joined the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) in 2012 and has served in multiple investigative and leadership roles, including STAR Team Investigator, Special Assignment Team (SAT) member, Assistant State Director for Colorado, and Colorado MUFON State Director (2020–2023).Paige has also contributed to the preservation of MUFON's historical archives through her work with the MUFON Anomaly Research and Reporting System (MARRS), part of Project Aquarius. The archive originated in 2006 under then-MUFON International Director James Carrion and incorporates early MUFON and Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS) records, along with private collections donated by Walt Andrus and John Schuessler. Between 2014 and 2015, Clifford Clift and Debbie Ziegelmeyer organized and categorized the archive, and in 2016, Ken St. John developed the MARRS redaction system to support ethical access. In 2017, Paige was appointed MARRS Administrator and Team Lead. MARRS now operates as one of six active Project Aquarius research rooms under the direction of Robert Spearing and his team.Paige is the director of Rocky Mountain Ranch Research, which she founded to investigate the Colorado property historically known as Clearview Ranch in the APRO case files, a site recognized for long-term anomalous activity that predates the Skinwalker Ranch case by more than a decade. Time froze, sound vanished, and streams of green numbers filled her mind, giving her a sudden understanding that the craft was not human. Years later in Israel, Poly underwent surgery where doctors discovered what appeared to be a tiny metallic cube inside a ruptured pituitary cyst. Around the same period, she began dreaming of waking in a red desert landscape environment, guided by a black-eyed child toward a simple canvas tent that opened into a large craft. Back in 1969, on a logging road outside Marysville in Washington State, a late-night party turned into chaos as people fled shouting, running for their cars. Rob and his friends stayed long enough to see three towering figures step out from the tree line, the largest close to eight feet tall. His experiences didn't end in the wilderness. During a 2017 eclipse trip that took him past Area 51, Rob and his friends saw bright camera-flash bursts flicker in different spots across the night sky.
