Satoshi Kon's debut feature-length animated movie is often cited as not just as masterpiece of animation, but a masterpiece of cinema full stop.Darren Aronofsky, in particular, has not only credited Perfect Blue as inspiration for a scene in Requiem for a Dream, there are also striking similarities between Perfect Blue and his Oscar-winning psychological horror Black Swan. Mima and Nina, anyone?Controversies aside, Perfect Blue was made on the cusp of the home internet revolution, and horrifically depicts a young woman being judged, stalked and harassed online. Kon wanted to highlight concerns over otaku, the groups of fans becoming obsessed with certain media, but as genius as Satoshi Kon was, even he couldn't have predicted how serious online toxic fan culture would become. Čo ste naposledy čítali o moslimoch? Silvia Letavajová z Ústavu manažmentu kultúry a turizmu kulturológie a etnológie na Filozofickej fakulte Konštantína Filozofa v Nitre skúmala mediálny obraz islamu v slovenských médiách. Jej výskum ukázal, že väčšina správ prináša negatívnu emóciu. Keď slovenskí novinári informujú o moslimoch a islame, často si vyberajú témy, ktoré súvisia s terorizmom, prípadne so zadržaním či väznením. Našinci pritom vedia o islame najmä sprostredkovane, málokedy majú nejakú osobnú skúsenosť. Aj preto je mediálny obraz dôležitý a do veľkej miery formuje naše názory. „To, čo deklarujú médiá, tak také stereotypy vidíme aj u majoritného obyvateľstva. Before becoming a Country Court Judge in 2021, Nola had a variety of experiences beginning as an articled clerk at Victoria Legal Aid all the way to the bar, with a large amount of pro-bono work along the way. Interestingly, Nola is the first female Greek / Australian County Court Judge in Victoria. Her parents migrated from Greece in the 1960's with no English and limited education. In the sci fi crime thriller Paprika, a dream detective races to save the world from a terrorist attack on the collective subconscious as the lines between fantasy and reality literally collapse. It's both populist and psychedelic, a direct continuation of the themes Satoshi Kon explored in Perfect Blue, as well as his most coherent bid for mainstream success. It's also Satoshi Kon's final film, and that it's so entertaining only makes Ian and Joseph even more frustrated as they imagine a world where Kon's career continued. These are the two strangest episodes of Paranoia Agent (and considering what's already happened, that's saying something). In “ETC,” a gaggle of gossiping neighbors trades tall tales about Shonen Bat. Satoshi Kon assembled a murderer's row of Madhouse employees (including the legendary Rintaro!) to animate the individual segments of this micro-anthology. Then, in “Mellow Maromi,” the series enters its own meta-verse, with an episode depicting a team of overworked people trying to make a single episode of an anime. According to our research, Kon originally wanted this to be a live-action episode about the making of _Paranoia Agent _itself.
