It includes a very good lesson at the end, and has some very terrifying, but astonishing scenes. The day continues with devotees wearing new clothes, exchanging greetings and distributing sweets. Children receive gifts and money from elders and of course there is a lot of food and gathering. These Gardens in Downtown DSM recognize the contributions that Asian Americans have made to Iowa and serve as a monument honoring Robert D. Ray for his remarkable leadership and humanitarian outreach to welcome and support Asian Americans.
