It's been almost one year since the Center for Disease Control (CDC) enacted a ban on the import of dogs from 100+ countries. The ban was enacted to reduce the risk of canine rabies in the US, despite it being eradicated for the past several years. Numerous international rescues are hurting because of this ban, including countless dogs that wouldn't otherwise have a chance to get adopted in their home country. Ali is joined by Zach Skow from Marley's Mutts, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization, in discussing the CDC ban and it's impact on international rescues.
