The first assignment Jason Martin ever took on for Outkick the Coverage was to compose ten longform pieces ranking the top ten dramas of his lifetime. Lists are subjective and limited by personal experience, but they're also a lot of fun. A little over three years later, @JMartOutkick revisits that list, atones for his mistakes, explains why each show was worthy at the time (except for one), and edits in new entries that would be included if the list were redone today, or at least speculates where they might fall. It was these articles that led to Jason's extensive pop culture coverage for the website, and later to his role on the Outkick the Coverage radio program, not to mention this podcast. This one's fun. Back after the holiday break as Outkick executive producer and pop culture writer @JMartOutkick raves about Mr. Robot and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, going into detail about the reasons for success and why both are must watch at this stage, then discusses Matt Lauer's firing at NBC, chats about Netflix's media changes, praises Lady Bird, and ranks the top music of 2017 as we near its conclusion. 

Jason Martin (@JMartOutkick) goes real talk on Justice League, has a few final comments on the continuing Hollywood and political sexual assault scandals, crushes This Is Us for this week's episode, praises Margo Price's talent, gives a top five in music for 2017, apologizes for Mr. Robot delays, and has a Thanksgiving message for all the Outkick the Culture army.

A heavier episode this week, as Outkick lead culture writer and Fox Sports Radio executive producer @JMartOutkick (Jason Martin) discusses the recent scandals and revelations in Hollywood, then moves on to review Stranger Things 2 with an attention to the positive messages of the series, and then goes into detail on the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair 30 for 30 from Rory Karpf that premiered this week. This week, it's all Stranger Things, all the time, as Jason Martin (@JMartOutkick) reviews the new season, carefully avoiding any spoilers, and talks about the phenomenon of the franchise, detailing the successes of the first season, what it means to people who grew up during the 1980s, what worked best and why even the show's imperfections made it charming and endearing on a nostalgia level. We'll spoil it in future weeks, but this week is a SAFE journey to Hawkins, Indiana, where we just talk about how much fun it is to escape into the Duffer Brothers unique universe.

This week...@JMartOutkick had planned to talk about a lot of things. Instead, he talked for almost an hour about Netflix's new hit drama, Mindhunter, both about the real behind the show... and about the series, the stars, David Fincher, and tons more. Call it a theme episode, where the theme is serial killers. Fun stuff! But it's a discussion worth having.
