Welcome to Show 22 in Season 11. Today is November 22. This is not a coincidence. Haha! We have some super cool releases in this show! Super Spacemusic. Setup your systems, switch on the hi, mid, low and sub for the best results. Some of the tracks contain sounds and effects you will not hear using ‘regular’ earbuds or headsets. As always: the full frequency spectrum is present during a mix that happened couple of days ago … Today is also the Official Release date for the NEW David Helpling album "RUNE" and we have it here on the show! It's a heart warming piece of art - "the new Ambient Era, TC says" - that you need to hear yourself ... :=) Musical contributions by : Another Fine Day, Off Land, Jonn Serrie, David Helpling, Confluent Phase, Erik Seifert, Rudy Adrian. We also play a cassette from 1994, this time it’s the ‘Dedicated’ label bringing us Global Communication. Hear that Maxell tape noise! Lovely! Now that temperatures have gone back to normal values in CY, we can breathe and actually DO stuff we want to do without changing shirts 3 times a day and drinking 4 liters of liquids within couple of hours. Cyprus in November means: preparation of your gas heater and finding sweaters and socks before the real chilly days enter the house next month … Wonderful times ahead for sure :) Myself, I am preparing for my flight to The Netherlands where I will meet family, friends and see a lot of ‘flat’ land and ‘traffic’ I suppose. I’m looking forward to a good time, charge my battery and eat a lot of good Dutch food! Oh … and Roger will take care of the December show again, I love that man! Have a wonderful Listening Experience! ~TC
Show for Mid-November brings you tape, coffee, chill-out moments and the most impressive music in the (experimental) ambient genre! Melodic adventures from past and present at the end of the year 2019 .... that’s right: a new decade is around the corner and we have a special request. Do you recognize the sound of the thing in my hands? … Totally impressed by the audio quality of old tapes, we’re going to make this a feature on future shows. It’s simply amazing how Ambient music from old tapes arrives in our ears…. a recent comparison of tape and the digital copy of a certain track made me decide to give my Technics Deck a place of it’s own in the studio. No more hiding in the closet! So what’s the audio about today? Musical contributions by Drome, Andrew Heath, Off Land, Off the Sky, Biosphere, Motionfield, Steve Roach, Kiphi, Josh Leake, Eguana. Listeners of the Nonstop®edition will agree: today’s tunes will be causing that magic again, best consumed in a nonstop flow. Something you won’t experience anywhere else but here at our station. Welcome to Spacemusic 11.21 “Noise of Art “, an experience you will not easily forget. Enjoy! // ambient zone //
Listen … feel …. enjoy! Thanks to labels and artists we found an enormous amount of high quality ambient music. The latest new release “Woodlands” by Rudy Adrian for example (Spotted Peccary Music) …. wow! Once you hit ‘play’ you can’t stop listening! Definitely part of our personal Ambient Top 10 for 2019. But there’s more: Ishq, Jarguna, Kelly David, Sean Curtis Patrick, Jonn Serrie, Ludvig Cimbrelius, they all are now part of our Journey called ‘Thermosphere’. Watch that temperature folks! The other day …. on the beach, having a good relaxation time! The sea not far away from me, some children playing in the water, music on my headphones, full sunshine, my parasol and a nice breeze. All of sudden there was this huge amount of energy, a connection really! The combination of light, music and the energy around me made it all happen. Deeply touched and feeling one with the universe. I went back into the studio and started playing tracks. Here it is … Welcome to Spacemusic 11.15 - about the energy that surrounds us as long as you’re willing to explore and absorb. Play this episode at any volume: satisfaction guaranteed
The Older you get, the more serious Life and Death seems to become… More people fade away, pass away. Sometimes after sickness, sometimes all of sudden. Either way it’s not easy to process the death of people that you are somehow ‘connected with’. It’s a true pain when realizing you won’t receive anymore e-mail from the person that passed away, or the person who died will not be featured in a new series or movie anymore. If Life is all about the renewal and refresh of the memory, than we have to take life more serious than ever! The Afterlife doesn’t mean that you ‘will be back’ in another life as the same person you are now. The Afterlife can refer to ‘you’ that is becoming another ‘you’ without the ‘knowing’ of the current ‘you’ that is ‘I’. One thing is for sure: the music that scores today’s episode is likely to survive us all. Next generations will be able to listen to Spacemusic 11.14 and all included music even 100 years from now. Unless there’s someone taking care of our archives and the technology we call ‘RSS’. We better start documenting our piece of work and think of ways to let this beacon continue for a long time…. Musical contributions by: OKADA, Shrine, Pat Keista, Yotto ft CAPS, Bluetech, XPound, Yagya, Alpha Waves Movement, Master Margherita and Sensitize. Listening advise: take a chair, sit down, listen closely and absorb the energy. Note: SUB frequencies included. Have a wonderful listening experience! // ambient zone // - for Peter F. -
This show is food for those who like to ‘see sound’ …. Welcome to my house, the Spacemusic house and studios where fans are trying to cool off body and mind. The wind and the engines causing a true sound phenomenon that interludes today’s mix of extreme laid-back tracks. Coming from Within, this episode tells a story about a guy deciding to leave his native country, in search of peace and quiet, to realize what he’s been dreaming of all his life: becoming a successful music promoter and producer on an island located in the Eastern Mediterranean. Despite his struggle to survive the cold during winter, the heat during summer, dust, wind and very strange habits from the locals, he decides to stay around on the island and reach out to his true fans: the show community that has been in the ether for such a long time. Some even more than 10 years, some even since the very first show release. He calls them to keep communicating, coming together and share thoughts, feelings and visions, posting comments and tell other people about the fantastic journey, how it changed their lives and how good it would be for everyone to come and join the community, supporting the number one platform for Ambient and Electronic music entertainment. The guy’s reason for existence. From Within. Musical contributions by Steve Roach, Miles Richmond, Peter Grenader, Johan Agebjörn, OVOD, Nihoni, Sensitize, Andrew Heath and 3six.net Tune in for total relaxation, we guarantee full satisfaction and high audio quality on all systems. t’s June and there’s a Full Moon coming on the 17th … This show is inspired by the Moon and the Sky, our guide and beacon, helping us to explain where the heck we are these days. Show 11 in Season 11 (oh yes!) will guide you through the most remarkable music that we found for your Full Moon Watching and other moments. Do not forget the strawberries! = June’s Full Moon is named after the wild strawberries that start to ripen during this month. According to some sources, a European name for this early summer month was Rose Moon, and another was Hot Moon, for the beginning of the summer heat. Other sources quote Mead Moon as the Anglo-Saxon name because this was the time for mowing the meads, or meadows = Now that you’re fully educated again … relax!
Today’s show is brought to you by Patrons and Members of the Ambient Zone. Let’s enjoy music in the lounge, chill out and ambient genre; clear blue sky and sea water, the wind is adding a nice breeze, the aircon in the studio is cooling both machines and all living creatures
In this episode you will find out some secrets … The ingredients that make the perfect Ambient mix. There’s no beats today but pure sound that goes directly to the brain & soul. While compiling the tracklist for 11.9 I have tried to make a good balance between soundscapes, drones and melodies, coming from a variety of artists and making sure that all parts of the frequency spectrum are present. I think the recipe succeeded quite well! You will not only hear the audio but feel it - literally - entering your body. Show 11.9 has become a fabulous experience that you won’t hear anywhere else… but here! Best listening experience: high quality audio system + SUB Best moment of the day: night time Best food before listening: fish and vegetables Best thing to do afterwards: deep sleep :) Best comment the day after: “That was something amazing!“ Thank you for supporting this station. Have a wonderful listening experience! // ambientzone //
Exactly 3 months after the first trip …. this is volume 2 bringing you even more trippy adventures for you to enjoy! Unbelievable sounding tracks that go perfectly well together, adding depth to eachother, creating even other dimensions. Though it took quite some time to find those that really like eachother and do match the flow I had in mind. I never thought that 11.8 would become this good! You will certainly notice something going on here, your mind will become ‘captured’ after listening to the mix for a short while … be careful now! Don’t trip and drive! Play in a safe and peaceful environment, headphones or speakers + sub of course :) Recorded and mixed in the studio on Holy Saturday, following the Julian Calendar introduced in 46 BC. We are celebrating Easter by the time you can download this episode. Happy Days! Musical contributions by: Jameson Nathan Jones, B.
