Eliza Fricker is an author and illustrator of "Can't Not Won't: A Story About a Child Who Couldn't Go to School". She has written two other books: "The Family Experience of PDA" and her forthcoming third book, "Thumbsucker" which is out for pre-order now. Eliza is a mom, an advocate and neurodivergent herself. Her family's experience with school avoidance is validating for many families and her illustrations are poignant and funny and more can be found at her blog, Missing the Mark.
RJ Holliday and James Warnken join us from Apex Communications Network where the two of them are leading the way for digital accessibility. RJ and James are among 6,000 globally certified professionals in digital accessibility and their current mission is to raise awareness for digital accessibility to drive change towards a more accessible future. They provided organizations of all sizes accessibility consulting, training, events, and a whole host of accessibility services including conducting accessibility audits, writing official documentation, producing accessible multimedia, and even braille and large print materials. James and RJ also work as consultants with the Blind Institute of Technology where they assist with accessibility courses and training as well as conducting accessibility audits and delivering the findings to internal teams.
