We’ve all got something we don’t tell. Join host Lindsey Lewis as she and her powerhouse guests reveal the Things They’d Never Say. Sometimes funny, always bold, and very very honest. Listen in for inspiration, affirmation and a celebration of being human.
Evin Rose saw a vision of herself doing cartwheels down the sidewalk. Free. Happy. Empowered. Then, she set out to live that vision. She talked about how she stopped pretending to be something she wasn't--especially in her dating life. And how embracing her real self brought her the feeling of doing cartwheels down the street. Our conversation was powerful, beautiful, and uplifting. As always, I hope this episode helps you feel seen, loved, and connected--and love all parts of yourself a little more. Valerie Henderson did something miraculous. She healed herself of a chronic condition. Using meditation. For real. She talks about that process here: what she did, how she did it, and exactly whose meditation work she used. Not only is her story incredible--so is Valerie. She's a radiant, kind, loving human being. Who decided one day she had had enough of being in pain. As always, I hope this episode helps you feel seen, loved, and connected--and love all parts of yourself a little more. Celebrity make-up and lash artist Jocelyn King is one of the loveliest people I know. She is fearless in her pursuit of growth and in her caring for other people. She makes people feel good--inside--as she helps them feel good about how they look on the outside. In our conversation, she talks about her family life in a small town as the preacher's daughter. Her realization that she wanted to be in the beauty industry. Quitting university. Pursuing her dream through film and beyond. All as a result of embracing who she really is. I loved our conversation. As always, I hope this episode helps you feel seen, loved, and connected--and love all parts of yourself a little more. Natasha Cecere came on the podcast and talked about something we haven't had on this podcast before. In her own words: being a fatty with a dead daddy. This woman! She is fun, funny, kind hearted, and very fierce in speaking about things that are often shunned or judged. She talked about when it comes to her body and the loss of her father in a way that was just so very lovely. I loved our conversation, and how full of warmth and strength she is. As always, I hope this episode helps you feel seen, loved, and connected--and love all parts of yourself a little more. Find out more about Natasha @funnygal83. What a unique and different time we're in right now. Covid-19 has created unprecedented shifts in our world, our work, and our lives. I kept on hearing how many people were experiencing anxiety, fear and worry, and having very challenging times in their inner world, outer world--including their businesses. In my work as a coach, I get a deep view into what's going on for people, and I wanted to help. So I put together a webinar called How to Support You and Your Business During Challenging Times. I'm sharing it on the podcast because it may be helpful for you. And it definitely fits the category of Things I'd Never Say--there are things in here I've never said before. We as a collective have never been here before. As always, I hope this episode uplifts you, supports you and helps you align with love. Love Lindsey For more on Lindsey and the Things I'd Never Say podcast go to http://thingsidneversay.com or @thingsidneversaypodcast on Instagram.

Rebecca Bligh is one powerhouse of a woman. She's a strong voice on Vancouver city council, a mom of two, and has her own career highs in leadership development and more. Yet--she's also down-to-earth, open, frank and very human. I adore her for this. In our conversation, we talked about motherhood. We talked about her experience as a mother-lead household. I learned that's the new, more accurate, non-stigma term for single mother households. And her new learnings inside raising a teen. I loved this conversation so much--and got so much from it. I know you will too. For more on Rebecca, head on over to http://rebeccabligh.com; find her on Facebook at rebeccabligh or Twitter @rebeccaleebligh. Morgan Northway Sky is a radiant being filled with light. Seriously. My experience of her is that she lives open to each moment of life and the learnings and serendipity available. She is lovely, dedicated to her wellbeing and conscious living, and a mentor and coach to others. She's also someone who at one period in her life was living very differently. She worked in fashion in LA, quickly ascending up the ranks and into positions she thought were her dream ones. She partied and drank a lot. One day, she realized it all had to change. She shared super honestly and vulnerably about that period in her life and how she made a shift. It was uplifting, courageous and inspiring. Sascha Alexander sat down for a conversation and blew me away. Her openess, candidness, and willingness to talk about a very tender dream--and an arena she feels she has not succeeded in. Acting. This subject is so vital. Talking about things we haven't rocked the way we wished. Dreams that we haven't achieved. Talk about talking about things that don't get talked about. We hear so many rah-rah stories about people who HAVE done it, got there, are living their dream. What if we haven't? Does that make us less than? How do we navigate our inner feelings about not achieving it, in a society that celebrates big wins vs big learnings? We talk about all of this in this episode. It's so good. I loved our conversation so much. And Sascha is incredible. Find out more about Sascha at http://saschaalexander.com or @saschface on Instagram. For this episode, I’m doing something different. I’m going to share a collection of uplifting, love-filled messages from my guests. Because in the season of light and love, it can be nice--no, necessary--to hear some loving, light-filled things. As always, I hope this episode uplifts you, helps you feel connected and seen, and, as always, helps you love your own self a little more. Love Lindsey.

I hosted a live version of this podcast: Things I'd Never Say. Six incredible women came together for an incredible evening. It.was.magical. It was sold out. Behind the scenes, in the lead-up to our launch, I experienced some pretty big stuff hitting the fan--inside my head, and in my body. It wasn't pretty. It was transformational. I'm talking very vulnerably about that time in this episode, what was going on for me, and how it all ended up. I hope this story uplifts you, helps you feel connected and seen, and, as always, helps you love your own self a little more. Love, Lindsey. When I got my dream gig--the job I'd been dreaming of since I was 15 years old, I was ecstatic. Then I was terrified. Then, I couldn't sleep, digest food properly, or get through the day without a LOT of anxiety and overwhelm. I'm talking about that time in this episode, and my experience on a media trip through Alberta where a PR woman shared an important message with me about feeling like I need to do it all perfectly. I hope this story uplifts you, helps you feel connected and seen, and, as always, helps you love your own self a little more. Love, Lindsey. It's filled with rawness, kindness, and Leah's desire to share her story so other women experiencing any part of it might feel less alone. Which is exactly what this podcast is all about.

It's about going deeper. Thinking about doing more than just styling the outside. In this episode, Jamie talks about how having her daughter inspired her to look at some parts of herself and her life in a different way--to take ownership of creating herself and her life from the inside out. Amber Krzys is my coach. Plus: she's a speaker, a wife, a volunteer, and on the faculty at the CFJ Coaching Success School. She's always open to sharing about her life. In this episode she shares something different--something she hasn't talked about in this way, before. She's talking about her relationship with her Dad. Something that I especially love about this episode is how inspiring it is. Find out more about Amber at https://www.amberkrzys.com and on Instagram @amberkrzys. Katie is utterly endearing--and her full fierceness and rawness makes her that much more so. I promise that no matter what, whether you are a mom or not, this episode will touch something inside you.
Leadership and Business Coach Kristin Constable talks about that in this episode. She steps forward to share how what she calls her Soul Work has helped her work. Her business. And how it can support everyone else to do the same. She talks about how she hasn't shared this before, because a part of her was concerned about how she might seem too woo-woo. I think that this conversation is important, valid--not nearly as woo as some of the other stuff we've covered--and just what is needed right now.

She is skilled at living in this way. And--she shares, in this episode--all of those skills were challenged when she got an unexpected and fairly major health diagnosis. Bridgette shares what happened, how she navigated the tunnel of fear, and how she still does. She is real, honest, and truly speaks from the heart. Above all, she is inspiring. Find Bridgette at https://bridgettereid.com/.
Storytelling is bold, thrilling, and terrifying. I LOVE it. In this episode, I'm sharing a story-telling version of my Things I'd Never Say. It's a story that shares some of my past, and a beautiful moment that impacted my future. It's about bread. Steadiness. And life-altering change. It's about a the goodness in human beings, and the comfort that can come from a stranger. Eva Siu blew me away. The founder of Empauer.ca came on the show and held forward a subject that couldn't be more important, or more timely--her experience as a Latino person today. She spoke of the rising incidents of racism and judgement. And the wave of people coming forward and coming together to say "That's not right. I'm with them." It was frank. Bold. Powerful. And inspiring. Eva is on Instagram @empauer.ca.
This is powerful. This is unspoken. This is a different, very much more nourishing take on sexuality. One of my favourite things she says is that "From childhood on the vast majority of us are given a sexual narrative that is based on a man's body." Kendra is offering a different narrative. Listen to it for your own self, your friends, your daughters. And then--share it! There's so much good stuff in here I don't even know what else to say. I was so impacted by this conversation I almost forgot I was hosting. Elana Epstein is a magical person. There is something about the way she walks through the world that feels very connected to something greater. She brings this to everything she does--whether it's teaching yoga, doing Reiki, or working with one on one clients. In this episode of Things I'd Never Say she talks about the magic of being free. Free to own and express what feels good or what doesn't--to say those things she might not at one time have said. And how this lights up not only her own world, but those around her. She talks about how being willing to say 'No, that doesn't work for me', to say things like 'I don't want to be the only one doing the grocery shopping and cooking' has brought so much good in her life--turning resentment into freedom. This one is for all of us who have ever had a longing to take a big leap about something that looks small, and could change everything. Find Elana on Instagram @elanaepstein. For one: not so long ago she spent 22 days in a near-coma, unable to move, eat, or sleep. This episode is for you if you ever feel like someone else has it way easier than you.
