This week I am sharing with you a kundalini meditation to disrupt patterns of poverty and clear your energy channels for Prosperity and Wealth. According to Kundalini Yoga, prosperity comes through the heart. The Sanskrit mantra, “Har,” translates to “God as the Creative Infinity,” and affirms our ability to co-create. This kriya is a prosperity practice. It is an active combination of mudra (hand position) and mantra (sound) designed to bring prosperity to your life. This meditation stimulates the mind, along with the moon and Jupiter centers of the hands. It's the coming together of Moon and Jupiter that's said to create wealth. You may practice this meditation for 3-11 minutes, but no more. More than 11 minutes is said to be greedy. The Practice Posture: Sit in Easy Pose Mudra: Elbows are by the sides, forearms are at a 45° angle, with the fingers at the level of the throat. The exercise begins with the palms facing down. Alternately strike the sides of the hands together. When the palms are face down, the sides of the Jupiter (index) fingers touch, and the thumbs cross below the hands, with the right thumb under the left. When the palms are face up, the Mercury (pinky) fingers and the Moon Mounds (located at the base of the palms) touch. Eyes: Focus at the tip of the nose, eyes are 9/l0th closed. Mantra: Har Chant continuously from the navel, using the tip of the tongue (pronounced "hud"). The Tantric Har song played here is by White Sun All meditations should be practiced for a minimum of 3, 5, 7, or 11 Minutes and for 40 days consecutively so that the grey matter of the brain starts to change. It's the HOLIDAYS. Thanksgiving wines begin the holiday celebrations Please Check out non alcoholic choices also . To begin any celebration, bubbles are always appropriate. New York Hard Ciders and Thanksgiving wines NY is the only choice, in my opinion, and the best producers of Hard ciders. Angry Orchard is the most popular NY hard cider and the most widely distributed. Ryan Burk is the Cider Master. He treats cider making as though he was making a fine wine, in that he discusses, native, wild yeasts, terroir and fermentation. They use predominantly New York State apples, Baldwin, Rome and Rhode Island green apples that are grown in New York. Once they are picked in September, October, they sort by hand, on a conveyer belt. They toss out the bad apples and then run the apples through a shower. Next the apples get a good soaking to remove dirt, stones and stems. Lastly a final wash before they go to the “ mashing process.” This produces the juice sans pumice. Ryan talks about native and wild yeasts which occur naturally on the apple skins and leaves. This produces specific terroir ( my kind of language). The fermentation takes place in used barrels which are neutral, meaning no oak flavor, is imparted to the cider blend. The ciders are usually filtered. Ryan mentions that they experiment with wine yeasts also. Therefore you want wines that will cut through the fatThanksgiving wines are the hot topic of course. Many people choose Pinot Noir or another red. These are actually not good choices because our American holiday fare is very rich. We actually want wines that cut the fat and richness of our Thanksgiving feast. Therefore a full bodied white wine such as Chardonnay, only slightly oaked, preferably unoaked is better. Sauvignon Blanc is also a perfect choice. If you want to choose domestic wines, I suggest: ZD WINES Napa: Chardonnay is stunning. They produce a very crisp Sauvignon Blanc. They make a very substantial Pinot Noir and they are famous for their Cabernet. www.ZDWines.com. Robert SINSKEY also Napa is famous for his Pinot Noir. However, choose the Pinot Blanc and the Abraxas ( white varietals blend) and definitely the Vin Gris of Pinot Noir, which is a Rose'. Yes Rose's are really the exciting wines for Thanksgiving. www.Robert SINSKEY.com all organic vines. I prefer the European style wines however, for Thanksgiving. Therefore I would choose an AOC Chablis, a chenin Blanc from Loire, a Sancerre also. You might venture into Cru Beaujolais for the reds. Serve these gamay varietal wines slightly chilled. She first started practicing Kundalini Yoga 25 years ago in Barcelona, where she was living for 8 years while attending university. She completed her Kundalini Yoga teacher training in Barcelona 22 years ago, and then soon returned home to Bogota, Columbia to open her own yoga studio, Happy Yoga Bogota, is the largest and one of the oldest yoga studios in Colombia. It is a sister location of Happy Yoga in Barcelona. What to expect in the Yoga In Columbia episode of the Wild Yoga Tribe Podcast Yoga was a huge answer for Laura to all the big questions in life, all the big spiritual questions. And as yoga has been a part of Laura's life for over half of her life, she feels like yoga has been a constant companion— an enormous part of our life that has watched her grow, a safe place to come back, always, whenever you need it. It's a huge gift. Being able to share this gift with other, is a “double gift,” as Laura says. As a yoga teacher training, Laura highlighted how the study of yoga never ends. Laura is passionate about the yoga scriptures, sutras, and reading all the spiritual texts of yoga. I was grateful how she talked about how and why it is so important to study the texts of yoga— it helps you to study yoga with your mind, to start to say to the ego I don't want to suffer more, I want to love more. There is a “stubborn darkness” that sooner or later plagues most of us who have struggled with long-term addiction. As much as the addicted person's physical life might be in danger at any given moment, the competing voice of addiction can also lure us to leaning more-and-more into the darkness until darkness threatens to become our very identity. Over time that darkness takes on a voice that not only calls the sufferer back to their drug/behavior of choice but, perhaps in an even more insidious way, can become loud enough to drown out the voice of life-giving spirit. Jules Hartley joined 3HO in 2011, changed her name to Amrita Kaur, and actively participated as a Kundalini Yoga teacher, worked for White Tantric Yoga (Health&Humanology), Golden Bridge Yoga, Nine Treasures Yoga, and performed work exchange for KRI and 3HO, and did seva (selfless service) at the RaMa Institute as well as the Guru Ram Das Ashram in LA through the end of 2018. Here are all 10 values of the aquarian age for your reference: Episode 38 1) Change and learning is continuous and life-long. we must maintain mental, emotional, and physical flexibility. 2) Intellect is not enough. We need a new relationship to intuition, emotion and instinct. 3) information is not enough. Neither is knowledge. We need wisdom. 4) Learning is not enough. We must learn how to learn. Episode 42 5) Complexity is increasing, as is our need to deal with it. 6) Our sense of personal identity and its foundation is shifting. 7) This is an age of paradox - more global and more individual, with fewer boundaries and more demand for political separations. Everything is faster and we have less time. We need far more love and unity, for we have more fear and tremendous insecurity. Episode 46 8) Stamina and contestant peak performance are the common benchmarks to evaluate all people and their work, and the need is to go inward and regenerate. 9) We require a reconciliation and integration of the spiritual side of life with the technological and material sides - a spiritual fitness to sense values and meaning. 10) There is no isolation. Each action we take must be considered ecologically, and globally because each person does affect, directly or indirectly, vast networks of people, and other living beings and places.
