Marva (advocate) states that Karlton did not commit this murder and there is no evidence and only the testimony of one person who was present at the scene of the crime. Janisha shares with Gam and Mz Gogetta that her “brother did sell drugs but that doesn't mean he did a murder and he didn't do that”. Karlton charges should be vindicated says Marva. As Aron did not know what was going on with him at the time he managed to walk around and enjoy life enduring the pain and lots of swelling. Aron states that the Lymphedema is in both of his legs however the left appears to be much larger. Aron has support of his family as he is immobile and is mostly in his home and confined to his bed. Cheron owned a local (family) bakery in Chesapeake, VA for four years before being sentenced to 9.5 years in Federal Prison. April Barber was sentenced to two life terms for killing her grandparents. The night of Sept. 4, 1991, Barber and her boyfriend poured gasoline in her grandparents' house and set fire to it. Aaron Barber died in the blaze and his wife Lillie died days later from her injuries in the fire. CL (April son's father)also went to prison for the murders.
