“I thought I was going to die and feared for my life”. Former GOP Presidential Candidate, John Castro experienced a chilling twist of fate. Stop Cop City: Imaginary Crimes Tour This week, we're sharing an interview with Selena who speaks about the "Stop Cop City: Imaginary Crimes Tour" and Jordan, a RICO defendant from the Stop Cop City 61 case. The two speak about anti-repression, about where the case is at right now and a wider view of resistance and support. The tour will be hitting over 60 cities (not all in the USA) From their tour announcement: 61 people are facing RICO trials in Atlanta for alleged involvement in resistance to the construction of Cop City. The State uses imaginary associations and crimes, framed as RICO, as a means to break solidarity and momentum when movements are strong. Anti-repression is a response that uses an alternate imagination to strengthen solidarity and resistance. In Spring 2025, a nationwide tour will visit over 60 cities to discuss the history of the Atlanta forest, the resistance to Cop City, history of RICO, ongoing legal updates and facilitate discussions on anti-repression and movement defense. Through this tour we aim to share the lessons we have learned across struggles, and adapt to the evolving repressive forces so that we can continue to move bravely together. This episode of The Traumedy Show is jam packed with relationship updates. Megan announces her official relationship with Washington Boy and shares the details of his visit to meet her in person. Meanwhile, Rachel spills that Bullseye has officially moved in and gives some additional details on their relationship, her new job and everything in between. Later in the show, the hosts read a powerful and deeply personal Trauma Bonding submission from a listener who bravely shares her story of childhood sexual assault at the hands of a cousin. She reflects on how the trauma has shaped her life, from PTSD to anxiety and beyond. They hold space for her story, discuss the weight of survivorship and explore the long-term impacts of trauma. As always, they navigate these heavy topics with honesty, support and (where appropriate) a little humor to keep them grounded. Thanks for listening!
Chris Robertson's story is one of being all in. His mother describes his personality as being able to go from zero to a hundred in nothing flat. As you listen, you'll see why. When he commits to something, good or bad, he goes full throttle. Perhaps that's why, at his last arrest, he went on a three-hour high-speed chase. His prison stint started at 18 and he found himself in and out of federal or state prison for nearly 20 years. During another federal prison term, he started to realize he was just living up to the system's expectations and that maybe there was something different. In 2018, that something started to kick in as he started studying the psychology of the human brain. And then several years later, while in prison, he enrolled in Captain Your Story inside USCF in Salt Lake City. Now he finds himself feeling different, thinking different and acting different. Still living with his all-in personality, he is all in and living a healthy, productive life full of intention. On this episode, I had the wild experience of chatting with Joe Exotic—a man whose life reads like a modern-day fable. Behind the walls of jail, he remained unapologetically charismatic, regaling me with tales of his once-rampant tiger empire and the fevered battles he fought against animal welfare activists, most notably his bitter feud with Carol Baskin. As we delved into every aspect of his tumultuous past—from his explosive personality and larger-than-life exploits with big cats to the stark reality of incarceration—I came away with a deep sense of both the man behind the myth and the extraordinary story that continues to captivate audiences worldwide.Learn More Herehttps://joeexoticofficial.com*************************************************************✅BLUECHEW - FIRST ORDER FREE Only $5 Shippinghttps://wawdpod.com/blue✅DUDEROBE - PROMO CODE: WAWD 20% OFFhttps://duderobe.com - promo code: WAWD*************************************************************More Bout Joe ExoticJoe Exotic is a figure whose life defies simple explanation—a blend of audacious ambition, larger-than-life showmanship, and a deep-rooted passion for exotic animals. Born Joseph Allen Maldonado, he carved out a unique niche in American pop culture with his extravagant tiger ranch and his unfiltered, flamboyant personality. His public feud with animal welfare activist Carol Baskin not only sparked a media frenzy but also highlighted the contentious world of exotic animal ownership. Whether it was his unconventional approach to business or his unyielding defense of his lifestyle, Joe Exotic became synonymous with controversy and spectacle.Behind the persona and the headlines, however, lies a more complex narrative marked by personal and legal battles. Serving a lengthy prison sentence for his role in a convoluted criminal case, Joe's life has taken a dramatic turn, exposing the stark realities of incarceration and health struggles. Even as he faces the challenges of a failing body and a deteriorating health condition, he remains defiant—continuing his plea for a presidential pardon and insisting on the integrity of his past actions. His story, rich with contradictions and marked by both triumphs and tribulations, invites us to ponder deeper questions about justice, redemption, and the human spirit's capacity for reinvention.*************************************************************Disclaimer: We at the What are We Doing podcast want to make it clear that the views and opinions expressed in this video belong solely to the speakers or authors and do not represent the views and opinions held by YouTube, its partners, or its owners. We must also emphasize that the information contained in this video has been produced with no warranty, expressed or implied, regarding the validity, accuracy, reliability, completeness, legality, or usefulness of what is said or expressed. In this episode, Reginald D had the privilege of speaking with Sterling Harris, a former NFL player whose life took a dramatic turn after developing a deep, personal relationship with Jesus. Sterling shared his journey from growing up in a small town in Texas, where he experienced a form of "church-anity" rather than true Christianity, to discovering the transformative power of a genuine connection with God.Despite facing numerous challenges, including injuries and personal struggles, Sterling persevered and made it to the NFL. He candidly discussed the harsh realities of professional football, including the cutthroat nature of the league and the pressure to perform. He also shared his experience of going to federal prison for a crime he didn't commit, which led him to seek a more authentic relationship with God.During his time in prison, Sterling discovered the transformative power of the Holy Spirit and began to teach others how to hear God's voice. He emphasized that everyone has access to this divine communication, regardless of their background or past experiences.Throughout our conversation, Sterling's passion for helping others connect with God was evident. He founded Sterling Harris Ministries, dedicated to empowering people of all ages to hear God's voice and experience transformation in their lives. He also discussed his upcoming book on "Mastering the Mind" and the practical strategies he offers to help individuals deepen their spiritual connection. This episode is a powerful reminder that no matter our past or the challenges we face, there is always more to discover in our relationship with God. Sterling's testimony is a testament to the grace and love that Jesus offers to everyone, regardless of their background.Sterling Harris Links:Website: https://sterlingharris.orgFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/sterlingharris.orgYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@SterlingHarrisMinistriesInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/sterlingharrisministries Send us a textSupport the showFor daily motivation and inspiration, subscribe and follow Real Talk With Reginald D on social media:Instagram: realtalkwithreginaldd TikTok: @realtalkregd Youtube: @realtalkwithreginald Facebook: realtalkwithreginaldd Twitter Real Talk With Reginald D (@realtalkRegD) / TwitterWebsite: Real Talk With Reginald D https://www.realtalkwithreginaldd.com Real Talk With Reginald D - Merchandise

God is always weaving His way through apparently terrible circumstances. This week we get to hear a story that exemplifies this in an unpredictable way. Kaleb Dillard is a young military veteran who grew up in Birmingham and attended Briarwood Christian School. A relatively normal, upright young man, Dillard found himself questioning the 2020 election results, a fact which landed him at the national Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, a day that will unfortunately go down in history. Dillard was caught up in the momentum of frustrated and distrustful Americans, and as a result, came under federal indictment for crimes committed at the Capitol that day. Dillard is not innocent and never claimed to be, but his story will frustrate you as you hear how his home was raided by federal law enforcement in a massive, publicized show of force with armored vehicles and SWAT teams. Even his parents were cuffed and detained in the back of a cop car as their house was ripped apart. Ironically, Dillard was released a few hours later on a $5,000 bond as he posed no threat to society. This week we take the journey with Dillard from Birmingham, to D.C., to federal prison, and back to Birmingham, detailing just one of the many ways the federal government retaliated against those who showed up to voice their distrust and displeasure on Jan. 6 th . Along the way, you'll also be treated to thekind of love story that movies are made of, as we hear how God brought an incredible woman into Dillard's life through the whole difficult journey. Sit back, buckle up, and enjoy the ride! This story is something else! A Dallas anesthesiologist was sentenced Wednesday to 190 years in prison for injecting a nerve-blocking agent and other drugs into bags of intravenous fluid at a surgical center where he worked, leading to the death of a coworker and causing cardiac emergencies for several patients. The emergencies began two days after 60-year old Raynaldo Riviera Ortiz Jr. was notified of a disciplinary inquiry into an incident during which he allegedly “deviated from the standard of care” during an anesthesia procedure when a patient experienced a medical emergency. The initiative is an expansion of the Promise Plus Program, a needs-based financial aid program approved by the board in 2022; And property taxes are rising in nearly every U.S. metro area, but the burden is not equal. Texas is home to some of the hardest hit cities in the country, according to a new study by RedFin. Three Texas cities round out the top 10: Fort Worth, San Antonio and Dallas. In Fort Worth, property taxes jumped 44% since 2019, to a median monthly payment of $508. Homeowners in San Antonio saw a 43% increase, to $449 a month. In February 2023, Tracii Hutsona was sentenced to 51 months in Federal Prison for her crimes against Joumana Kidd, and given until April 13th to voluntarily turn herself in to the US Marshals. She ended up turning herself in on March 20th, about a month early, to the prison camp at FCI Phoenix. At first glance, it might seem that Tracii was eager to take responsibility for her actions and start serving her well deserved sentence. In this week's episode, we'll wrap up this story by bringing you up to speed on where things stand today. I'll walk you through the REAL reasons Tracii turned herself in early. We'll take a look at Tracii's first-hand account of life in federal prison through her blog, and we'll cover the different motions she filed in the hopes of reducing her time. Will this story end with Tracii serving out her 51 month punishment as the Court intended? Or, will she manage to find a workaround and get her sentence reduced? It is outrageous to think that in a city the size of Dallas that voting machines would fail an initial validation test but that is exactly what happened. During the recent Logic & Accuracy Test, the Central Accumulator, the main tabulation computer that counts votes on election night, made serious tabulation errors for multiple Dallas County races. Even more shocking is the lack of accountability or sense of urgency to fix the problem. If Democrats want to steal Texas, their path goes straight through Dallas and Houston. These issues must be rectified before Election Day. Also, I will play for you a man who may be the worst, most evil Federal Judge in America, Matthew Barret. He sentenced former Mesa County Colorado Elections Clerk Tina Peters to nine years in Federal Prison for simply trying to expose election fraud. The judge called her a more dangerous criminal than the violent felons marched through his courtroom. You will hear his entire speech before laying down this outrageous sentence. And Diddy may face even more problems as 127 more victims come forward.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
