The attack led to the first federal Antifa terrorism prosecution — and later convictions — in U.S. history.U.S. District Judge Mark T. Pittman sentenced ringleader Benjamin Hanil Song to 100 years in prison. Song was convicted of the most serious offenses in the case, including attempted murder and discharging a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. Prosecutors proved at trial that he shot Alvarado Police Lt. Thomas Gross in the neck during the Fourth of July attack last year.Bradford Morris, a trans militant and sex worker known as “Meagan Morris,” who lived in a Dallas commune with other trans individuals he referred to as his “wives,” was sentenced to 50 years. (The Kessler Heights neighborhood commune also functioned as one of the group's bases.)The defendants were among nine Antifa members convicted by a federal jury in March following the first federal Antifa terrorism trial in U.S. history. Their prison sentences are the longest in American history for convicted violent Antifa members.Feds Drop Hammer on 15 Minnesota Antifa Members Accused of Organized Anti-ICE Violence 15 members of an Antifa cell in the Twin Cities have been federally indicted over mass anti-ICE violence in JanuaryA federal grand jury has indicted 15 members and associates of a Twin Cities Antifa network accused of organizing violent coordinated efforts to obstruct U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in Minnesota. The 94-page indictment charges the defendants with conspiracy to impede or injure federal agents and officers, alleging they worked together from January through June 2026 to prevent ICE and other Department of Homeland Security personnel from carrying out federal duties.A member of the cultlike Zizians group is charged in the killings of her parents in PennsylvaniaIn this image from video, Michelle Zajko, who authorities say is associated with a cultlike group known as Zizians, is escorted into court for a pretrial hearing in Cumberland, Maryland, on January 16, 2026.AP — A member of the cultlike group known as Zizians has been charged with murder in the shooting of her parents at their Pennsylvania home on her 30th birthday, and a prosecutor said Wednesday she wasn't acting alone.Delaware County District Attorney Tanner Rouse said evidence from a neighbor's doorbell camera, ballistics and analysis of cellphone records have left investigators certain Michelle Zajko is at least partly responsible for the deaths of her parents, Rita and Richard. They were shot in her childhood playroom on New Year's Eve 2022, surrounded by her old dolls and toys.“At this time we do not know who her co-conspirators were, but we are very certain that Michelle Zajko was in the home and arranged for the death of her parents,” Rouse said. The new charges against Zajko, who has been jailed in Maryland on other charges since February 2025, include murder, burglary and conspiracy charges in her parents' deaths. She has denied killing them, and in court filings suggested her father might have killed her mother and himself.“I didn't murder my parents,” she wrote in an April 2025 “ Open Letter to the World” that her attorney sent to The Associated Press.Authorities had long described Zajko as a person of interest. The two deaths are among six linked to the Zizians, a group of young, highly intelligent computer scientists who appear to share radical beliefs about veganism, animal rights, gender identity and artificial intelligence. Since 2022, members have been tied to the death of one of their own during an attack on a California landlord, the landlord's subsequent killing, the Zajkos' deaths in Pennsylvania, and a highway shootout in Vermont that left a border agent and another Zizian dead.Zizians face charges in multiple statesZajko, now 33, also is charged with providing the gun used to kill U.S. Border Patrol Agent David Maland in January 2025, though nothing has happened in that case. She was arrested in Maryland a few weeks later along with Daniel Blank and Jack “Ziz” LaSota, whom authorities describe as the group's leader. Police who responded to a landowner's complaint about suspicious people parked in box trucks on his property described them as having “ties with the Zizians Cult” and said they would be questioned about crimes across the country.Zajko had been estranged from her parents in the year leading up to their deaths, the prosecutor said. In a January 2022 text message to her father, she complained that her mother had “assumed the worst” about her since she was a child.“Every time I interact with mom in a nonsuperficial way she spends the time insulting a life she knows nothing about,” Zajko wrote. Hours before her death, Rita Zajko apologized to her daughter and wished her a happy birthday.“That text went unanswered,” Rouse said.Richard Zajko's sister-in-law, Roseanne Zajko, thanked police and prosecutors Wednesday, saying that her family has endured “countless days of darkness and despair” waiting for justice.SCOOP: Radical LGBQ and so-called “T” activists at a Pride event in Amarillo, TX, caught on camera ASSAULTING two Christian men

Roger Aletras grew up in New York — and by 16 years old he was already robbing people at gunpoint. What followed was a criminal career that escalated from armed robbery to working with organized crime running jewel heists across New York. When the feds came for him on a gun charge it was only the beginning. A murder during a drug deal in Vermont ultimately sent him to federal prison where he spent over 30 years inside some of America's most dangerous facilities. In this episode of Locked In with Ian Bick, Roger opens up about the complete arc of his criminal life — from his first gun robbery at 16 to the jewel heists to the murder that changed everything. He shares what life inside prison really looked like as someone connected to organized crime — the politics the power structures and the stories nobody has ever heard. And he talks about what 30 years behind bars does to a person and what life looks like on the other side. _____________________________________________ #organizedcrime #truecrimecommunity #prisonlife _____________________________________________ Thank you to MARS MEN & BLUEPRINT for sponsoring this episode: Mars Men: For a limited time, our listeners get 50% off FOR LIFE, Free Shipping, AND 3 Free Gifts at Mars Men at https://mengotomars.com/ _____________________________________________ Blueprint: For a limited time only, our listeners get 20% off + free shipping at https://blueprint.bryanjohnson.com/ by using code LOCKEDIN at checkout. #Blueprint #ad _____________________________________________ Hosted, Executive Produced & Edited By Ian Bick: https://www.instagram.com/ian_bick/?hl=en https://ianbick.com/ _____________________________________________ Timestamps: 00:00 Armed Robber Who Faced the Death Penalty — Roger's Complete Story 00:28 His Early Childhood Broken Home and the Environment That Set Everything in Motion 01:52 His First Crimes and the Juvenile Arrest That Started Everything 06:12 Life Inside Juvenile Detention and What That World Really Looked Like 14:24 Getting Caught Robbing a Gun Store and What That Moment Really Felt Like 20:00 Learning How to Be a Better Criminal Inside Prison and What That Education Looked Like 27:00 Prison Life and the Hard Realities That Defined His Early Years Inside 32:00 Getting Released Reoffending and What Getting Pulled Into Organized Crime Really Involved 41:00 Maximum Security at Green Haven — One of New York's Most Brutal Prisons 43:00 The Escalation From Theft to Armed Robbery and What Drove That Transition 47:00 Shootouts and Life on the Run — the Most Dangerous Chapter of His Criminal Career 54:00 Prison in New Jersey and the Culture That Governed Everything Inside 01:00:00 Prison Violence the Codes That Govern It and What Survival Actually Required 01:05:00 Armored Car Robberies and the Elevated Risks That Came With That World 01:11:00 The Transition to Federal Prison and What That Step Up Really Looked Like 01:18:00 Federal Prison Challenges and the Big Cases That Defined His Time Inside 01:26:00 Facing a Murder Case and the Death Penalty — the Moment Everything Almost Ended Forever 01:35:00 The Prison Transformation — Education Reflection and the Shift That Changed Everything 01:45:00 Release and What Starting Over After Everything He Survived Really Looked Like 01:50:00 His Regrets His Redemption and the Advice He Wants Everyone to Hear _____________________________________________ To advertise on the show, contact sales@advertisecast.com or visit https://advertising.libsyn.com/LockedInWithIanBicka Learn more about your ad choices. In episode 251 of the Transition Drill Podcast, explores identity, resilience, and rebuilding after public scrutiny for veterans and first responders navigating career disruption, reputation loss, and life after service. You'll hear Kwesi Millington on what happens when one moment changes everything, and what it takes to rebuild purpose, identity, and a future when the career you expected disappears.Former RCMP officer and now resilience keynote speaker Kwesi Millington shares a story that starts far before policing and goes far beyond the incident that made international headlines.Raised in Toronto by a single mother after emigrating from Trinidad and Tobago, Kwesi describes a childhood that was ordinary by his standards. No clear career calling. No lifelong dream of becoming a police officer. He moved through school, completed a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus in finance, worked office and government jobs, and felt disconnected from the life he imagined for himself. Then one moment changed direction. Watching a police officer while walking a strike line, he realized he wanted work that put him outside, serving people and doing something that felt meaningful. That decision led him into the RCMP. He trained in Regina, Saskatchewan, entered frontline policing in British Columbia, and expected to build a long career. Instead, only a few years into service, a call at Vancouver International Airport became the defining event of his life. Kwesi walks through that night, the death that followed, the public reaction, the viral footage, internal conflict, investigations, public inquiry, and the long legal aftermath that eventually ended his policing career. But this conversation doesn't stop there.Kwesi talks openly about moral injury, accountability, identity collapse, incarceration, and the reality of trying to re-enter society carrying a criminal record and public history. He reflects on the jobs that never called back, rebuilding through personal training, and discovering that growth sometimes starts where status ends. What emerged next wasn't a return to who he was. Through fitness, Toastmasters, communication, and years of rebuilding, Kwesi found a different mission. Today he speaks to audiences on resilience, mindset, accountability, and navigating life after adversity.CONNECT WITH THE PODCAST:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/paulpantani/WEBSITE: https://www.transitiondrillpodcast.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/paulpantani/SIGN-UP FOR THE NEWSLETTER:https://transitiondrillpodcast.com/home#aboutQUESTIONS OR COMMENTS:paul@transitiondrillpodcast.comSPONSORS:GRND Collective: Premium, veteran-owned sportswear built for those who show up, outwork the excuses, and give 100%. The Federal Bureau of Prisons has labeled him a "walkaway".He is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 210 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The U.S. Marshals Service and the FBI are spearheading the manhunt.Prior to his transfer to federal custody, Cofield executed what investigators consider one of the most brazen and significant frauds ever carried out from an American prison. He assumed the identity of Hollywood producer Sidney Kimmel by utilizing smuggled contraband cell phones to impersonate the billionaire and gain access to his Charles Schwab investment account. He transferred $11 million to a precious metal dealer in Idaho to acquire 6,106 American Gold Eagle coins. Cofield then enlisted a private security team to transport the gold via a private charter flight to Atlanta. Subsequently, he collaborated with outside accomplices to purchase a $4.4 million, six-bedroom mansion in Buckhead, Atlanta.Cofield received a sentence of over 11 years in federal prison for this operation. Film Fest Tickets: https://buytickets.at/thedopeyfoundation/2216905 PATREON - www.patreon.com/dopeypodcast On this Thursday Greatest Hits episode, we replayed Ryan Leone's first appearance on Dopey — one of the wildest, most bombastic interviews we've ever done. Ryan was a ridiculously talented, handsome, funny writer who lived one of the most extreme addict lives imaginable: early Ritalin addiction, wilderness programs, stabbing a skinhead, running with cartels, moving kilos of Molly and heroin, multiple federal prisons, writing his cult-classic novel Wasting Talent while locked up, getting close with Johnny Depp, and battling brutal relapses after periods of success. We also had a wild voicemail from Dade about a naked, coke-fueled brawl that ended with her putting her feet through multiple walls, plus listener comments and updates. Ryan passed away in 2022 from fentanyl, which makes this replay especially heavy and important. His story is pure Dopey — chaotic, violent, hilarious, tragic, and full of hard-earned wisdom. Rest in Peace Ryan Leone! We Love You! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

Late in director Alexandria Stapleton's 4-part Netflix series “Sean Combs: The Reckoning”, one of her subjects lays out what may be the documentary's thesis:  While it may seem like Combs “went bad” well into middle-age, the signs were there well before–”it was a slow build.”   Stapleton deftly tracks Comb's rise:  The son of a murdered father, brought up with music, clothes, and fantasy.  Starting out in the music business as a runner, dancer, and promoter. Then becoming “Puff Daddy” in the fallout of a tragically over-promoted show, he would go on to make a fortune as a promoter and producer, understanding the growing importance of both music as a visual medium, as well as the opportunities provided by corporate sponsorship.   But Stapleton is as interested in the other side of Combs, the one that ended up with a Federal indictment for racketeering and more; charges that he may have ultimately eluded, but which still resulted in 40 months in Federal Prison.  Stapleton presents those who say that were hurt by Combs–psychically, physically, financially, and sexually–with sensitivity, but allows them to tell their own stories with a specificity that at times can be harrowing.   The Presenting Sponsor of "Top Docs" is Netflix.   Follow: @topdocspod on Instagram and X

Get your copy of Paul's book 'Cruel and Unusual Punishment: A Memoir of the Psychological Realities of Federal Prison' here: https://amzn.to/3QHVs4c Paul shares how he built a successful psychology practice between 2007 and 2011 before everything unraveled, leading to his conviction and incarceration. Drawing from his powerful book, he explores the concept of “savage vs. civilized,” revealing how quickly societal norms can break down when survival instincts take over. We dive deep into his firsthand experiences navigating the federal prison system—from solitary confinement and unexpected transfers to the harsh realities inmates faced during COVID-19. Paul opens up about the unspoken rules of prison life, including how dominance and intimidation shape daily interactions and determine survival. In one striking story, Paul recounts a childhood moment on a farm where he learned the hard way asserting dominance can mean the difference between vulnerability and control. He shares how, despite initially trying to avoid conflict, he was forced to adapt quickly in situations that challenged his place within the prison hierarchy. This episode also explores bigger-picture conversations around criminal justice reform, questioning whether the system prioritizes punishment over rehabilitation. We discuss the urgent need for meaningful work, education, and reentry programs that can help break cycles of crime and give individuals a real second chance. Mea Culpa welcomes back a very special guest, John Dean. For those of you who lived through Watergate, his name is synonymous with the political intrigue of the 1970s. Dean served as White House Counsel for President Richard Nixon from July 1970 until April 1973. In that position, he became deeply involved in events leading up to the Watergate burglaries and the subsequent scandal and cover-up. Referred to as the "master manipulator of the cover-up" by the FBI, Dean's testimony before the House was watched by some 80 million Americans. Granted immunity, Dean laid out in stunning detail and intricacy how the President not only knew about but orchestrated the break-in and burglary of the DNC. He ultimately was sentenced to one year in Federal Prison but emerged from the experience as a changed and soulful individual. Dean renounced his former politics and started a second life as an author and speaker. He's penned five books about Watergate and 10 books in total; including his most recent tome, Authoritarian Nightmare: Trump and his Followers. Dean is now the last man standing from that era, He is the last connection between this nation's authoritarian past and present. Michael and John dig deep into Watergate, January 6th, and DOJ.

The case centers on a July 4th, 2025 attack on the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, where a group of individuals armed with AR-15s and handguns opened fire on law enforcement, shooting a police officer in the neck. Two of the defendants actually fired weapons. The other six were convicted largely for wearing black, throwing fireworks, and holding anti-fascist beliefs. Hawk, a former criminal defense attorney, walks through the federal indictments, the conspiracy charges, and how Donald Trump's National Security Presidential Memo Number 7 and a December 2025 directive from then-Attorney General Pam Bondi turned what were essentially vandalism and protest charges into domestic terrorism prosecutions carrying 55-year federal sentences. The legal framework being used targets anti-capitalism, anti-Christianity, anti-Americanism, support for trans rights, and protesting ICE as ideological indicators of domestic terrorism. Hawk examines how conspiracy law allows the acts of one person to be applied to an entire group, how "providing material support to terrorists" became the anchor charge against people who never touched a gun, and why Antifa, which has no formal organizational structure, membership rolls, or leadership, is being treated as a designated terrorist organization. The Pam Bondi memo, Kash Patel's hollowing out of the FBI, and the gutting of the DOJ are all part of the picture Hawk lays out in one of his most detailed and legally grounded episodes yet. Former drug kingpin George Day was sentenced to one of the harshest punishments imaginable: life in federal prison plus 90 years. What followed was nearly two decades inside some of the toughest federal prisons in America — fighting appeals, navigating prison politics, and trying to survive a sentence that was supposed to mean he would die behind bars. In this episode, George tells the unbelievable story of his time inside the federal system after being convicted in a controversial case built largely on witness testimony rather than physical evidence. Despite multiple trials and legal battles, he was ultimately convicted and given a life sentence plus additional decades, sending him deep into the federal prison system. Behind bars, George faced the brutal reality of a life sentence — violent prison yards, powerful inmates, and the mental weight of knowing he might never see freedom again. At one point he describes himself as a “dead man walking,” preparing for the possibility that prison would be where his life ended. But George refused to give up. While incarcerated, he continued fighting his case, studying the law, filing appeals, and working through the courts for years. Against overwhelming odds, his persistence eventually paid off. After nearly two decades in prison, his case was revisited and he ultimately received clemency in 2021 under the First Step Act, allowing him to finally walk free. In this interview, George shares: • What it's like to receive life plus 90 years in federal court • The psychological toll of serving a life sentence • The dangerous reality of federal prison yards • How inmates survive when they know they may never get out • Fighting appeals from behind bars for nearly two decades • The legal battle that eventually led to his release • The moment he learned he was finally going home This is the story of a man who went from facing life behind bars to walking out of prison nearly 20 years later. Legend Tarver went from graduating with a degree to serving time in federal prison, learning the hard way how choices, survival, and consequence intersect in the criminal justice system. Two weeks into his sentence, he found out his then-girlfriend, Amanda, was pregnant, and the couple endured separation, hardship, and the challenges of incarceration while growing their family. Drawing strength from the more than 300 handwritten letters they exchanged behind bars, Legend and Amanda turned their experience into purpose by co-founding 300 Letters, a nonprofit dedicated to treating incarceration as a family affair and helping justice-impacted families heal, stay connected, and rebuild after prison. In this episode, Legend opens up about how he ended up in prison, how that time shaped his life and fatherhood, and how he's working now to change the narrative for others who've faced similar struggles. _____________________________________________ #FederalPrison #PrisonStory #FormerInmate #PrisonLife #TrueCrimePodcast #LifeAfterPrison #InmateStories #lockedinwithianbick _____________________________________________ Thank you to GOLD DROP SELTZERS for sponsoring this episode: Head to https://www.thedryoak.com/ and use promo code LOCKEDIN at checkout for 10% off your order. _____________________________________________ Connect with Legend Tarver: Website: https://300letters.org/ Instagram & Tiktok: @IAMLEGENDFITNESS @300LETTERS @TRUTHBYAMANDA _____________________________________________ Hosted, Executive Produced & Edited By Ian Bick: https://www.instagram.com/ian_bick/?hl=en https://ianbick.com/ _____________________________________________ Shop Locked In Merch: http://www.ianbick.com/shop _____________________________________________ Timestamps: 00:00 From College to Federal Prison 01:04 Growing Up in Miami & Family Struggles 05:11 Childhood Trauma & Single-Parent Upbringing 13:13 Early Hustles: School, Work & Selling Drugs 17:42 Generational Influence & Entering Drug Trafficking 21:39 High School Drug Sales & Avoiding Police 24:38 First Arrest & College Dreams Falling Apart 28:36 Meeting Amanda & Escalating Drug Operations 32:43 Deep in the Game: Paranoia, Expansion & Molly Trafficking 39:39 The Setup: Law Changes, Surveillance & Arrest 43:39 Amanda's Role & Facing Federal Charges 48:34 Federal Indictment, Legal Battles & Family Impact 52:59 Pregnancy, Prison & Holding Relationships Together 01:00:57 Life in Federal Prison: Survival, Fitness & Brotherhood 01:09:11 Prison Realizations: Regret, Accountability & Change 01:13:37 Release, Reinvention & Founding 300 Letters 01:17:32 Reentry, Advocacy & Helping Incarcerated Families 01:23:32 Fatherhood, Breaking Cycles & Life After Prison 01:27:01 Final Reflections & Moving Forward Learn more about your ad choices.
