(0:00) We kick the week off with a special introduction featuring my friend Nate Stark. Nate is the biggest Game of Thrones fan I know, and following the Season 6 Finale, I thought it'd be the perfect time to bring him on to discuss. We dive into all things past, present, and future in the world of GoT, so if you want to avoid spoilers, you may want to skip this one. But seriously... you should listen. (38:07) Josh Samman joins us to discuss his amazing memoir, entitled The Housekeeper: Love, Death, and Prizefighting. This book explores some really heavy subjects, ranging from addiction to depression, expressed through the framework of a tragic love story. I was enthralled with the book from beginning to end and highly recommend you check it out. (54:17) "Don't Kill My Vibe (Kendrick Lamar Acoustic Cover)" by Josh Samman and Chad Anderson (56:25) Andre Soukhamthath returns to discuss his upcoming title defense against Kin Moy at CES MMA 37. We get into the risks of social media, the UFC Bantamweight division, and the pros and cons of all-day weigh-ins. (1:16:37) On this week's After Show, Ty Reynolds breaks down Bellator Dynamite 2, the rounding out of the UFC 202 fight card, and more.

Business as usual, and like Bachman Turner Overdrive, Rear Naked Choke Radio is taking care of it. Joe Rizzo (@RearNakedChoke) and Jay Kelly (@JayKellyMMA) discussed the ramifications of the UFC reportedly accepting a bid for $4.2 billion, the return of Georges St. Pierre, Bellator: Dynamite, athletic commissions and the competence of MMA judges. Flocombat.com writer Jeremy Botter reported the alleged sale of the UFC and it's been a buzzing topic of conversation since. The hosts talked how new ownership would affect UFC president Dana White, the fighters, broadcasting partners and those employed by the world's top MMA organization. The biggest MMA star from Canada, who left the sport three years ago with welterweight championship intact, St. Pierre announced on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani that his is ready to return to the cage. The French Canadian stated that he would like to return against middleweight champion Michael Bisping and challenge for the belt. Rizzo and Kelly talked about the 35-year-old's chances against Bisping, the sales for a fight featuring a Canadian and a Englishman, if GSP deserves the bout and other possible opponents. Because they felt they should, Rizzo and Kelly touched on Bellator: Dynamite. The event featured a mix of MMA and kickboxing, with fighters including Michael Chandler, Joe Schilling, Rampage Jackson and more. The hosts spoke about the champion once-and-again, Chander, Schilling's knockout loss against Hisaki Kato, Jackson's questionable decision victory and the shenanigans that seem to always follow around Bellator. While Bellator wasn't in question, the shoddy judging was. Rizzo and Kelly talked about the ongoing problems athletic commissions face, the lack of competent judges and a possible solution for some of their issues. Stephen Quadros will #FreeNickDiaz. Quadros, a.k.a. "The Fight Professor," joined Jason Kelly (@JayKellyMMA) and Joe Rizzo (@RearNakedChoke) on Rear Naked Choke Radio (@RNCRadio) and his comments about Diaz might just provide the impetus to get the fighter â??free.â?? Quadros (@StephenQuadros) undressed the Nevada Athletic Commission with harsh words about their five-year ban on Diaz, called for a reversal and explained why the rule is, in his opinion, archaic. Quadros has been around combat sports for decades and just came off calling the GLORY kickboxing portion of the Bellator Dynamite 1 card in San Jose, Calif. As part of the show, Fedor Emilianenko was presented to the audience with news of his return to MMA, on New Yearâ??s Eve in Japan. Quadros covered all the angles on Fedor with Kelly and Rizzo. He is uniquely qualified to discuss the Russian, with years of experience on the Japanese martial arts circuit to compare and examine. Quadros held various media positions covering combat sports, from editing Black Belt magazine, to holding down the commentary duties for Pride FC, to reporting live on site for Strikeforce, to his current role as an analyst for GLORY. Bellator's event on Sept. 19 was a co-promoted show with GLORY, which featured MMA and kickboxing, along with a series of themes and personalities that were prominent in Pride FC and DYNAMITE era of Japanese MMA. Quadros was one of the few perfect people to analyze and constructively critique efforts put forth by Bellator. Follow the show on twitter: @RNCRadio. In a special roundtable edition of Submission Radio, UFC Hall of famer Frank Trigg and MMA Fighting's Davis St. Martin join Kacper and Denis to break down WSOF 23, Bellator & Glory: Dynamite 1, Fedor Emelianenko signing with Japan's newest MMA promotion, and why Nick Diaz's suspension is absolutely ridiculous. - Popular journalist and the man behind MMA Fighting's morning report, David St. Martin makes his first appearance on Submission Radio to help break down World Series of Fighting 23: Gaethje vs Palomino 2. David joins Kacper and Denis to talk about such fights as Justin Gaethje vs Luis Palomino and how it stacked up against the first one, David Branch vs Teddy Holder, Timur Valiev vs Tito Jones, Phoenix Jones vs Roberto Yong, Brian Foster vs LaRue Burley, and the controversial finish to Vagab Vagabov vs Brian Grinnell and what the consequence should be. - MMA legend and UFC Hall of Famer Frank Trigg returns to Submission Radio to help break down Bellator & Glory: Dynamite 1 and what to make of Scott Coker's MMA/Kickboxing spectacle. Frank talks about the production value, what worked and what didn't work, how it compared to the old school Pride FC shows, and whether or not the show could've had more of a 'Scott Coker' twist to it. With his vast knowledge of the sport, Trigg also weighs in on such fights as King Mo vs Linton Vassell, Phil Davis' fights against Emanuel Newton and Francis Carmont, Josh Thompson vs Mike Bronzoulis, and Tito Ortiz vs Liam McGeary. Aside from his analysis of the fights themselves, Trigg gives insight into the personalities and mindset of certain fighters, including Tito Ortiz, Liam McGeary, and Emanuel Newton. To round off the show, Kacper and Denis get Frank's thoughts and also weigh in on Fedor Emelianenko signing with Nobuyuki Sakakibara's new Japanese promotion, if Japanese MMA has enough life in it to still be successful, possible opponents for Fedor to fight, if Fedor will eventually end up in the UFC, as well as Nick Diaz's controversial five year suspension.
