Hi everybody ! Let's go outside, this week on MUTEKI !! LEO puts the spotlight on an anime that emphasizes both concepts of "love triangle" and "Track & Field", ALPHA from LE GROS TAS DE ZIK makes us travel somewhere between Japan and the U.K. with a refreshing sound from BUGSEED. Meanwhile, VIOLAINE talks about 2006's Studio Gonzo ecological fable turned into animated movie "Origin/Gin-iro no kami no Agito". Mata raishû !! Finally got the homies Foniks and DNZ back on the podcast. Listeners will recognize DNZ from the Breakdown episode were we celebrated the Breakdown event. One of the longest running hip-hop events in Tokyo. DNZ is a turntablist Dj and twitch streamer. Since then he's been streaming deejay sets and preparing for Tokyo to open back up for events. The last time Foniks was on was during our Jansport J episode. Foniks is an illustrator, musician and producer. He's been branching out and making more hip-hop centric beats and collaborating with some of Tokyo local emcees. Today we mostly caught up and talked about anything that came to mind as we haven't been in the same room for well over a year. Tune to the pod. Video coming soon. all beats by Bugseed.

This is how we chill from episode 93 til... Dos Monos are Botsu, Zo Zhit, and Taitan Man. Theyre a Tokyo based hip-hop trio making some of the most interesting music today. Often described as experimental, avant garde, and deconstructionist, their debut album, Dos City, is one of 2019s best projects. It dropped earlier this year on Deathbomb Arc, alongside releases from Death Grips, Clipping, and Jpeg Mafia. @Dos-Monos are gaining a huge foreign following, which is typically very difficult for Japanese rap artists. What's even more wild is that Dos City is the first music they ever made. The first track they made together is on the project. The legendary Meiso, joins us as cohost and we find to find out their origin story, where the inspiration comes from, their musical tastes, their approach to making music, translating the lyrics into English, and a bunch of other suchness. They also share a new unreleased track that should be dropping sometime later this year. Shout out to Dos Monos! Shout out to Meiso! Check out part two that drops next Tuesday with all the other music shares, including a new joint from Meiso and Bugseed. While Hungary has attracted attention in recent years, mainly through its nationalist government, some artists of the country are creating a musical counterpart and sending love and peace across the world. Savages y Suefo are such artists and we are very happy to present a Sunday Joint of them today! The two members of Savages Y Suefo (Savages & Suefo) came from the eclectic music scene of Budapest. Savages met Suefo in 2008 and they quickly started working together on tracks and remixes. Since then they did remixes for DelaDap, Kid Loco, Watcha Clan and Anima Sound System to name a few. At the beginning of November they released their new album „Brotherhood” that brings a serious message. The music quotes blues elements, but is also influenced by Dub, Funk and Hip-Hop. The lyrics mainly focus to the social and personal problems of our time and are interpreted by talented guest vocalists the whole world. For their Sunday Joint they selected chilling Downbeats from Nightmares On Wax, Suhov, Hidden Jazz Quartett, Bugseed just to name a few and of course some of their own songs. Light it up and pass it around! Interview with Savages y Suefo & Tracklisting: blogrebellen.de/?p=128272
