This week we take a trip back to 1985 for a movie of such staggering stupidity that we can hardly believe it. Death Wish 3 is the continuing adventures of Paul Kersey, played by Charles Bronson and where the first movie is a pretty solid action movie and the second movie is dopey and mostly boring, Death Wish 3 commits to absurdity in a way that'll really make you think. It's a movie of such moronic prowess that the filmmakers had to go out of their way to achieve such heights of idiocy. See a crowd of children literally jump for joy over the bodies of bikers dead in the street. Marvel at a doctor doing everything he can to not break character and laugh while telling a husband that his wife died from a broken arm. This movie is truly an achievement in a year already crowded with dumb movies from Cannon. As it happens, Paul Kersey is back home in New York City to visit an old friend but he arrives in time for the man to die in his arms when the local street gang of giggling maniacs beats him to the edge of his life. Kersey will team up with a cop to put the gang on ice in a film that was literally rushed into production to capitalize on the headlines about a subway vigilante in New York City that injured three and left one man in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Truly, only Cannon could produce such an entertaining gem. Degens Andy S and Brandon Bombay are out for vengeance as they discuss a movie that launched a thousand imitators, 'Death Wish.' Andy kicks off the episode by telling a recent tale when his car was hit in a hit and run, and he decided to dole out some justice. Then the fellas talk about this Charles Bronson classic that borders on exploitation, and is super dark even by '70s studio standards. No one can blame Bronson's Paul Kersey for snapping after his wife with the "prime figure" is murdered by thugs, and the doctor delivers the news in hilariously uncouth fashion. Seeing Bronson run the streets with his gun, inspires the boys to perhaps buy some for themselves, and how that could be a horrible idea. Even for a podcast that welcomes degenerate behavior it's obvious that Bronson's bloodlust is unsustainable, as he continues killing while knowing that the police are watching him. Overall, it's a bonkers episode that will leave listeners acting like Jeff Goldblum's Freak #1 when they're finished.

Death Wish Coffee, a well-established premium coffee brand, is suing Liquid Death for trademark infringement and unfair competition. Death Wish Coffee argues that Liquid Death's entry into the coffee market will confuse consumers and trade on Death Wish's brand and goodwill. Death Wish Coffee has a history of protecting its brand and has successfully obtained injunctions against other "death formative" marks in the coffee space. Liquid Death claims they have no real plans to launch coffee, despite filing trademark applications, and suggests Death Wish's CEO is "amped up on too much caffeine." They also argue that no one company can legally own the word "death." The Case Brief explores the legal arguments, including the purpose of trademark law and the concept of "reverse confusion." Spoiler: The answer is NO! He'll be on next Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (in case you were wondering). 4:05pm- While speaking with the press aboard Air Force One, President Donald Trump was once again asked about potentially running for a third presidential term in 2028—responding: “If you read [the Constitution], it's pretty clear.
