Carrum Primary School had several entries reach the State Finals of the 2008 National History Challenge. This short film entry 'The Rats of Tobruk' by Jeremy, Lachy and Tyler received a Special Commendation at the State Finals.

Weedy is a young Weedy Sea Dragon keen to discover everything about the big wide world under the sea. On his journey Weedy meets lots of new and exciting sea creatures and begins to wonder about a curious thing called 'extinction'.
