This week we're breaking down “Broke”. The Michael Scott Paper Company is struggling to stay in business after Ryan made a serious accounting error. Meanwhile, Dunder Mifflin has taken a hit from all the customers they lost to the Michael Scott Paper Company, so with the help of Jim, Dunder Mifflin decides to buy out the Michael Scott Paper Company even though they have no idea that's exactly what Michael, Pam and Ryan want. This is the first “Office” episode directed by Steve Carell. The ladies help a fan clarify what Michael yells when pranking Ryan, Jenna simplifies the difference between fixed-costs vs variable-costs and Angela shares a deleted scene about Charles Miner that will make you gasp! So enjoy this episode because well, well, well, how the turn tables...
This week we're breaking down “Dream Team”! Michael puts together his dream team for the Michael Scott Paper Company which consists of Vikram, Pam and… Ryan. Meanwhile, Jim kisses up to Charles Miner by pretending to be a soccer player and this fib results in Phyllis getting hit in the head with a soccer ball and possibly swallowing a crown. Angela breaks down the OG Dream Team from the 1992 Men's Olympics Basketball team, Jenna is bringing back the flower lapel and the ladies discuss Vikram's famous quote, “Confidence. It's the food of the wise man, but the liquor of the fool” and why it's so mysterious. So make lots of french toast, perfect your best soccer moves and enjoy this episode.
This week we're breaking down “New Boss”. Michael's 15th Anniversary work party gets thwarted by the new, no-nonsense Vice President of the Northeast Region, Charles Miner, played by Idris Elba. The ladies dish some fun fast facts about Idris, Angela explains what she thinks a petting zoo at Burning Man is and Jenna addresses a couple “fan mail flurries” on how long Michael has actually worked at Dunder Mifflin and Jim's "number two" position. This episode is an extremely attractive one, so put on your tuxedo and enjoy! Listen to Idris Elba's song “Fudge”: https://djmag.com/news/idris-elba-has-released-new-house-track-fudge
On this episode of Mind The Mess, we start with KEB's absence. Yes, if you actually read this then you will know before you listen that we are missing our Producer. But no worries, he's just taking SnapChat videos of a concert for the fine folks who sing Gooey. Look em up because you know Medium T didn't know em! Anyway, then we have a quick dispute about British actors and specifically if Charles Miner was British in the Office. This them seamlessly transitions into a huge win by really USA as a whole at the Rider Cup. Not only did we win, but we brought two men together who were feuding and I will keep saying "we" because America. Finally we get into some Week 3 NFL action! We start with the LAST PLACE Chiefs and their poor play lately then moved into how horrible rookie QBs have been. Like all of them, not great. Also, Big Ben was struck by the turf monster pretty bad and Justin Tucker is considered nightmare fuel to all Lions fans. Plus we have a few 3-0 teams that we seriously need to determine if they are contenders or pretenders....hence that name of the segment. Spoiler, Medium T thinks we have some pretender, didn't see that coming. Then we end with KEB Th...I mean Medium T's Parlay Picks where he stated they were all winners and he thinks he should take KEB's job on this podcast. Well we will let the football gods decide, but folks it's a good one. Enjoy!

“Imagine…someone has a personal hero they really wanna help. But then there’s this new guy. Very cool, very Will Smith-esque, who would not like it if he helped his hero.” This week’s episode covers the brief but impactful arc of Charles Minor on Dunder Mifflin Scranton We look at how his friction with Michael, his parking lot soccer games, and company picnic volleyball spikes. And yes, we’re of the effect he has on women. After that we meet in the conference room to discuss first impressions of The Office on Peacock and close with some listener-submitted trivia. In the words of Charles Minor: “I can’t wait!" Support our show and become a member of Scott's Tots on Patreon! Dune and The Dark Tower Is a good adaptation one that mirrors its source material exactly or one that forges its own path through a similar plot? Dune, directed by the Twin Peaks guy and starring the Twin Peaks guy and the Twin Peaks girl's sister, is the story of Lawrence of Arabia in S P A C E. The Dark Tower is the most controversial adaptation since The Last Airbender and stars Charles Miner from The Office and the "Alright alright alright" guy. This podcast is powered by Pinecast.

Episode # 72 of THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID finds both Matt and Kevin grinning silently at each other behind a glass wall. Papa don't preach. It's time for the annual company picnic, and Michael plans to finally make his move on soup snake Holly Flax. SlumDunder Mifflinaire? No highly choreographed Indian dance number at the end of THIS one, I fear. Meanwhile, Rolf rips Angela a new one, Charles Miner hates Jim (still), Pam is surprisingly awesome at sports, Stanley drinks, Phyllis sits, Dwight stalls, and a potential JAMbino rears its sure-to-be impossibly cute head. Is it time to strap on the waterskiis? Office, don't fail me now! Incidental music provided by the Podshow Podsafe Music Network. Episode # 66 of THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID finds both Matt and Kevin wondering just how high they can fly. If the figs don't fit, you must quit. Michael's 15th anniversary party plans go awry when new VP Charles Miner goes from BFF to mean manager. What? No Cirque du Soleil? Inconceivable! Jim gets classy AND dissed all in the same day, Angela and Kelly fight for the attentions of the black George Clooney, and Michael makes a monumental decision - or DOES he?
