2. Hâkk Teâlâ'nın insanlara verdiği mükellefiyetlerinin, ahkâm, emir ve yasaklarının, va'ad ve vaîdînin nasıl olduğunu gösteren deliller üzerinde düşünmek. İnsanlar mükellefiyetlerin nasıl olduğunu bilip, onların yerine getirilmesi halinde olan va'ad-i ilâhî ile yerine getirilmemesi halinde olan vaîd-i ilâhiyi (tehdidi) bildiklerinde, o mükellefiyetleri yerine getirmek onlar için kolaylaşır. 3. Bundan dolayı Cenâb-ı Allâh'ın "Beni anın" ifâdesindeki, emr-i ilâhî bütün taat türlerini içine almaktadır. (Fahruddîn Er-Râzî, Tefsîr-i Kebîr Mefâtîhu'l-Ğayb, c.4, s.71)
"Bizi, dosdoğru olan yoluna ilet." (Fatiha s. 6) sözünden maksad, Allâh (c.c.) rızası için büyük meşakkatleri sırtlanan öncülerin yoludur. Anlatıldığına göre Hz. Nûh (a.s.) her gün bayılıncaya kadar dövülürdü. O buna rağmen, yine her vurulduğunda, "Allâh'ım kavmime hidayet et, çünkü onlar ne yaptıklarını bilmiyorlar" derdi. Bizim Peygamberimiz (s.a.v.) bu cümleyi sadece bir kere söylemiştir. Halbuki Hz. Nuh (a.s.) bir günde aynı cümleyi defalarca söylemiştir. Peygamber (s.a.v.)'in bu kelimeyi söylemesi, Nûh (a.s.)'ın söylemesinden daha çok olur. "Sırât-ı müstakim" insanın, Allâh (c.c.)'dan başka her şeyden yüz çevirmiş: bütün kalbi, fikri ve zikriyle Allâh (c.c.)'a yönelmiş olmasıdır. (Fahruddîn Er-Râzî, Tefsîr-i Kebîr Mefâtîhu'l-Ğayb, c.1, s.354-355)

(Fahruddîn Er-Râzî, Tefsîr-i Kebîr Mefâtîhu'l-Ğayb, c. 4, s. 86-87)
Little G Weevil (Here I Come Knocking); Right Reverend Crow (Hard Worker); Papaslide (Working Hard); Ruthie Foster (Believe); Chris Thayer (One Foot In The Grave); Peter Karp (Tooth And Nail); CD Woodbury Trio (Bulldog); Stacy Mitchhart (Ain't No Rhyme Or Reason); Mike Zito (Outside Or The Eastside); Mark Hummel (Headed For A Heartache); Watermelon Slim (Oklahoma Blues); Keb' Mo' (Oklahoma); Shirley Johnson (Your Turn To Cry); Casey Bill Weldon (Howlin' Dog Blues); Andy Fairweather Low (Waiting On The Up).
(Al-i imran s. 125) buyurur. (Fahruddîn Er-Râzî, Tefsîr-i Kebîr Mefâtîhu'l-Ğayb, c.1, s.124)
Cenâb-ı Hakk'ın dışında ihsanda bulunan kimselere, fakir ısrar ettiğinde, ona kızar ve onu mahrum eder, istediğini de vermez. Halbuki Allâhü Teâlâ böyle değildir. Nitekim Hz. Peygamber (s.a.v.) (A'raf 156) buyurmuştur. (Fahruddîn Er-Râzî, Tefsîr-i Kebîr Mefâtîhu'l-Ğayb, c. 1, s. 321-322)
La Porta | Renungan Harian Katolik - Daily Meditation according to Catholic Church liturgy
Hz. Peygamber (s.a.v.)'den rivayet edildiğine göre, Hz. İbrahim (a.s.), Cenâb-ı Hâkk'a şunu sormuştur: "Ya Râbbî sana "El-hamdülillah" deyip hamdedenin mükâfaatı nedir?" Hz. Adem (a.s.) aksırınca, "El-hamdülillah" demiştir. Böylece onun ilk sözü de bu olmuştur. Aklın ilk sözü "El-hamdülillah", Âdem (a.s.)'ın da ilk sözü yine "El-hamdülillah" olmuştur. (Fahruddîn Er-Râzî, Tefsîr-i Kebîr Mefâtîhu'l-Ğayb, c.1, s.398)
(Fahruddîn Er-Râzî, Tefsîr-i Kebîr Mefâtîhu'l-Ğayb, c.1, s.380-381)
"Allâh yolunda çift sadaka veren kimse, cennetin muhtelif kapılarından, ‘Ey Allâh'ın (sevgili) kulu! Burada hayır ve bereket vardır', diye çağırılır. Sürekli namaz kılanlar namaz kapısından, mücahidler cihad kapısından, oruçlular reyyân kapısından, sadaka vermeyi sevenler de sadaka kapısından (cennete girmeye) davet edilirler." (Riyazu's-Salihin, 1219) Ebû Bekir (r.a.): Anam babam sana feda olsun ey Allâh'ın Rasûlü! Resûlullâh (s.a.v.): "Evet, vardır. (Beyhakî, Sünenu'l-Kübrâ) Ebu Hureyre (r.a.)'den rivayete göre adamın biri Peygamber Efendimiz (s.a.v.)'e gelerek şöyle dedi: "Ben Ramazan'da (oruçluyken) hanımımla birlikte oldum." Onun üzerine Peygamber Efendimiz (s.a.v.) "Köle azat et" buyurdu. Adam "imkânım yok" dediğinde Efendimiz (s.a.v.), "Peş peşe iki ay oruç tut" buyurdu.
Bununla birlikte biz onu lânetledik, hatta huzurumuzdan tard ettik. Sana gelince, bu şeytan seninle bir an otursa, seni ebedî ateşe atar. Öyleyse niçin onu kovmak ve lânetlemekle meşgul olmuyorsun. O halde haydi “Euzü billahi mine'ş-şeytani'r-racim” de. (Fahruddîn Er-Râzî, Tefsîr-i Kebîr Mefâtîhu'l-Ğayb, c.1, s.127-128)

PART ONEPaul and Scott kick off the new year with a discussion about the nominees for the upcoming Grammy Awards. And more! PART TWOOur in-depth conversation with Taj MahalABOUT TAJ MAHALSinger, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Taj Mahal has mastered the blues form and has further built upon it by incorporating world music influences and expanding the boundaries of the genre. Growing up in Massachusetts, he made his way to Southern California in the mid-1960s where he formed the Group Rising Sons with Ry Cooder, Jessie Lee Kincaid, and Kevin Kelley. They signed with Columbia Records but, upon disbanding, Taj joined forces with guitarist Jesse Ed Davis and remained on the label as a solo artist. After a dozen albums with Columbia, he moved to Warner Bros. Records in the mid-1970s. Following a period spent living in Hawaii and largely out of the limelight in the 1980s, he ultimately reemerged for a new era of commercial success. Taj has been nominated for 18 Grammy Awards, winning five, including Best Contemporary Blues Album in 1997, 2000, 2008, and 2018, and best Traditional Blues Album in 2022 and 2025. He has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from both the Americana Music Association and the Recording Academy. His most recent album, a duet project with Keb' Mo' called Room on the Porch, is nominated for the Best Traditional Blues Album Grammy at the upcoming Awards on February 1st. Maggie & John C. Reilly discuss “What's Not to Love?” Mister Romantic's debut album out now on Eternal Magic Recordings is a collection of beloved songs from the American Songbook reimagined by Reilly and his Grammy-winning band. “What's Not To Love?” was recorded in 2024 in Los Angeles at Nest Recorders and was co-produced by Reilly and Davíd Garza. In addition to Garza on piano and guitar, the band also includes Gabe Witcher on violin, Sebastian Steinberg on bass, and Charles De Castro on accordion and cornet. CREATED BY JOHN C. REILLY“I looked at our weary world a few years ago and tried to think of a way I could spread love and empathy. I decided the most fun way to do that was through performing and singing and telling people I love them…so the emotional vaudeville show Mister Romantic was born, out of both hope and despair.”From studying theater as a kid growing up in Chicago, to amateur clowning as a teen and studying acting at The Theatre School at DePaul University, to his Oscar-nominated role starring in the film adaptation of Chicago and beloved performance starring in Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, to his TONY-nominated performance in Sam Shepard's True West, and more, theater and music have been pillars of John's career. What's Not To Love? is a collection of gorgeous renditions of songs from the Great American Songbook backed by a band of multiple GRAMMY®-winners. On lead single “Dream” Reilly delivers a gentle, dreamy sea-side cover of the 1944 Johnny Mercer song, which has previously been recorded by Frank Sinatra and Roy Orbison. The album was recorded in 2024 in Los Angeles at Nest Recorders and was co-produced by Reilly and Davíd Garza (Fiona Apple, Sharon Van Etten). In addition to Garza on piano and guitar, the band also includes Gabe Witcher on violin (Punch Brothers, Rosanne Cash), Sebastian Steinberg on bass (Fiona Apple, Phoebe Bridgers), and Charles De Castro on accordion and cornet (Keb' Mo'). The 13 tracks include a pair of Irving Berlin songs, a trio of Tom Waits songs and many songs made famous by Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Jo Stafford and more. Reilly and this special band reimagine and re-embrace these beloved tunes and bring them again to another generation.About the Live Show:Prepare to be captivated by the incomparable John C. Reilly in Mister Romantic, a vaudeville show that has already garnered critical acclaim and captured the public's imagination. The New York Times calls the show "wryly funny, sometimes tender and sad, but always sincere" and Vanity Fair describes it as “fiercely funny” and says "John C. Reilly is one hell of a singer." Mister Romantic asks you to open your heart to the love all around you and marks a new chapter in Reilly's acclaimed career. TrulySignificant.com presents Christopher Wyze. Chris is debuting two new Christmas songs. He is coming back to our studio for a second time on the heals of winning the 2025 Blues Blast Music Awards. Enjoy our conversation on what's important in life. We riff about Dr. Viktor Frankl, Sigmund Freud, and Bill Halamandaris. Christopher Wyze & the Tellers has won the 2025 Blues Blast Music Award for Best New Artist Debut Album for their thirteen-track release, Stuck in the Mud. The album, which landed on multiple blues charts around the world, received critical acclaim for its raw storytelling and powerful, fresh take on contemporary blues.Presented by Blues Blast Magazine, the Blues Blast Music Awards recognize excellence across the spectrum of blues styles and artists. A panel of blues industry professionals select nominees. Fan voting from around the world determines the winners. Joining Wyze & the Tellers in this year's winner's circle include Tab Benoit, Derek Trucks, Charlie Musselwhite, Shemekia Copeland, Bobby Rush, and Keb' Mo,' among others.“We haven't toured. We made a record of our original music — and let the music do the traveling,” shares frontman Christopher Wyze. “People told us we had to be out there gigging for the record to get noticed. We wrote, recorded, released, and built a fanbase around the world without ever hitting the road.”The band of veteran blues musicians was formed specifically to record ‘Stuck in the Mud,' with members all meeting for the first time in the studio. In the time between recording ‘Stuck in the Mud' and their follow-up live album, ‘LIVE in CLARKSDALE,' they played a single live gig — the live album performance – a fact that has made the group's rise all the more improbable. The band recorded ‘Stuck in the Mud' in two of America's most iconic musical locations: Clarksdale, Mississippi and Muscle Shoals, Alabama — both deeply rooted in the blues and roots traditions that inspire Wyze's sound. It burst onto the scene in late summer of 2024 and quickly gained traction worldwide, with listeners streaming in 90 countries. A string of radio and streaming charting successes propelled the album, along with nine of its singles. The album landed #1 hits with “Back to Clarksdale” (RMR) and the title track, “Stuck in the Mud” (iTunes Blues Charts: Germany, Mexico). It climbed onto multiple Blues Charts: in U.S., U.K., France, Canada, Switzerland, Belgium and Australia. ‘Stuck in the Mud' ended the year at #38 out of the Top 200 Blues Albums ranked by Roots Music Report (RMR) – one of just 3 albums by debut artists to break into the top 50.“When I first heard Christopher Wyze, I felt something raw, honest, deeply rooted in the blues – and unique,” said Johnny Phillips. “I've seen more than a few acts through the years. He's not trying to be anyone else. He's telling his stories — doing it with soul, grit, and a harmonica that cuts straight through. We're proud to have him on the Big Radio Records label. This award is a testament to what happens when you make good music.”Christopher Wyze & the Tellers are currently working on new material and planning select live performances in 2026.Listen to ‘Stuck In The Mud': cwyze.lnk.to/StuckInTheMudAlbumPRFor more information, visit christopherwyzeandthetellers.com.About the Blues Blast Music Awards:Founded in 2008, the Blues Blast Music Awards are presented annually by Blues Blast Magazine, the largest weekly internet blues publication in the world, with over 44,000 subscribers across all 50 U.S. states and more than 90 countries. In this episode, we sit down with Keb Pound, creator of The Stupid History Minute, to explore how short-form comedy storytelling can supercharge sports entertainment. Keb's 60-second history lessons prove that brevity doesn't mean sacrificing impact — it can sharpen it. By “flipping” common narratives, zeroing in on quirky details, and applying stand-up timing, Keb creates memorable, shareable content that resonates with listeners. His disciplined content structure and consistent branding have built a loyal audience of thousands, showing how tight formatting and clear voice can make big waves in a crowded media space. Rob Wicall, industry veteran, mascot expert and author of Furlosphy joins Cudo to connect these storytelling techniques to real-world fan engagement. From the viral Yo-Yo Cam at Arizona State to Slugger's “Trash Trash Baby” skit in Portland, Rob and Cudo highlights how creativity and planning turn fans and mascots into the stars of the show. Whether through scoreboard features that reward fan participation or comedic skits that deliver messages without preaching, these moments transform spectators into active participants. Rounding out the conversation, we discuss MascotLink tools which streamline mascot appearances and unlock new revenue streams by taking care of the logistical heavy lifting. Together, these conversations show how precision storytelling, humor, and smart strategy can elevate both podcasts and in-venue sports entertainment, proving that 60 seconds, a camera, or a well-timed joke can be all it takes to create unforgettable fan experiences.

A Nashville singer/songwriter and music producer with a 30-year career that includes writing songs for Trisha Yearwood (including recent single The Wall Or The Way Over), Keb' Mo' and Taj Mahal (including recent single Junkyard Dog), Cher, Bonnie Raitt, and Art Garfunkel, while simultaneously earning a sizeable cult following and consistent critical acclaim for her own releases. Maia's 10th solo album, Tomboy, will be released on September 12th, it is an ultra-authentic Americana-adjacent record steeped in quiet gratitude, internal celebration, and a complete embrace of true self. The first single Tomboy grew out of Sharp and co-writer Emily Kopp jokingly trading photos from their tomboy childhoods – an idea that carries over into the song's lovingly nostalgic video (a second video has been created from photos submitted by fans). Sharp has been significantly shaped by her long involvement with Songwriting with Soldiers, a non-profit that pairs veterans, first responders and law enforcement with pro songwriters to create music about whichever part of their experience they choose to share.
Greetings All You Young Jazz Lovers! Another episode of the best damn Jazz music podcast on the internet has dropped, and this episode has drawn its inspiration from the world of film. A cinema masterpiece entitled "Sinners" hit theaters back in April of this year and ever since I can't seem to quench my desire for the blues (I also avoid the sunlight...strange).
