Near-Term Human Extinction (NTHE) Hospice Conversation with Chris Lund held on Aug. 25, 2019Many thanks to Chris for her participation in this NTHE Hospice Conversation! Learning to live with the realities if NTHE and coping with cognitive dissonance in a consumer society was discussed, along with several other valuable areas of inquiry. Chris's YouTube channel (The Natural Progressive) can be found here... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWekUcnk_CHV1ETZEym2dhATo watch the Youtube video of this same conversation, go here... https://www.youtube.com/user/FreeMarketer2009/videosThe Near-Term Human Extinction Hospice Conversation is geared towards openly expressing thoughts and feelings about NTHE after being informed and learning about the subject. The conversation is intended to be different from many of the other conversations about NTHE that typically focus on (or debate) the technical details of the subject rather than addressing the internal human experience that inevitably occurs as the realities of NTHE are understood. The conversation is being offered as an experiment to provide easily accessible forms of emotional refuge (or hospice) at a pivotal point in human history. If you are interested in having one of these conversations with Peter, you can apply at this page... http://breakawaymhe.com/nthe-hospice-conversation-w-peter-miller-the-booking-process/

Do our grades tell the story of student achievement, progress, or learning that we want them to tell? Who is the audience for our grades? Why does it matter? Join Dr. Chris Lund, Assistant Superintendent of Research and School Improvement in Long Beach Unified, in Part 1 of a 2-part series, as he challenges us to consider our conventional wisdom around current grading practices. Using Dr. Guskey's work around grading as an anchor, listen in and see how we might better help our students "make the grade."
