Många insekter lämnar Sverige just nu. De migrerar nämligen precis som flyttfåglarna. Men hur gör de för att hitta? Vi spanar också på trollsländor vid Rönne å. Lyssna på alla avsnitt i Sveriges Radios app. Så här i september är det många fåglar som flyttar söderut. Men det är inte bara fåglar som flyttar från Sverige! Det gör även många insekter.Hit hör amiralfjärilar, tistelfjärilar, nattfjärilar som exempelvis tandfly, gammafly och större dagsvärmare, och många arter av blomflugor. De migrerande insekterna söker sig till Sverige på våren för att utnyttja resurserna som finns här, med värdväxter för larverna och nektar till de vuxna, och undviker också de alltför torra somrarna längre söderut i Europa. Men de lämnar Sverige på hösten – de är inte anpassade för att övervintra här. Flytten sker ofta i flera generationer.Men hur vet insekterna vart de ska, och hur klarar så små och kortlivade organismer att flyga så långt? Här finns fortfarande många mysterier att reda ut. Men vid Lunds universitet pågår en hel del forskning på området. Morgonens fältreporter Helena Söderlundh sänder direkt från en nattfjärilsfälla på Ekologihusets tak i Lund tillsammans med Lars Pettersson, docent i zooekologi och verksam vid Svensk dagfjärilsövervakning, och Cecilia Nilsson, forskare med livet i luftrummet som specialitet. Hon har bland annat jämfört fåglars och nattfjärilars flytt.I programmet medverkar även Eric Warrant, professor i zoologi vid Lunds universitet, som studerat bongongfjärilen i Australien som först flyttar 100 mil åt ett håll, vilar 3 månader i en grotta, och sedan flyttar tillbaka samma sträcka igen. Eric Warrant och hans forskarteam har visat att nattfjärilen navigerar med hjälp av både stjärnor och magnetfält. Vi ringer också upp forskaren Johanna Hedlund för att höra om hur trollsländor flyttar förbluffande långa sträckor på sina till synes bräckliga vingar. Och i Botaniska trädgården i Lund letar vi flyttande blomflugor tillsammans med Oskar Löfgren, Lunds universitet.Mer trollsländor blir det i ett reportage från Rönne å i Skåne. En riktig favoritplats för många trollsländor. Biologen Linda Birkedal berättar vilka arter som flyger i skytteltrafik över den ringlande ån.Kan spindlar gå på vatten, och kan de simma? Det undrar Mikaela Ekeroth som hade ett nära möte med en spindel i vattnet nyligen. Vi ber en expert svara på detta.Något har hänt med hasselnötterna i år, i alla fall i Dalarna. Nötterna är tomma och därmed finns det ingen mat till den tjocknäbbade nötkråkan. Mats Forslund har följt nötkråkorna under lång tid och är bekymrad.I veckans kråkvinkel lyssnar Jenny Berntson Djurvall på hälsorekommendationer om styrketräning och raska promenader. Den skapades när Öresundsbron byggdes, som en plats där bron övergår till tunnel. Men ön ses också som ett biologiskt experiment. En karg, obeväxt sandö, som naturen fått hitta till helt på egen hand och där den genom åren fått utvecklas utan mänsklig inblandning.Hur ser det ut där idag 26 år efter att ön invigdes?
