In this powerful episode of Unleashing Intuition Secrets, Michael Jaco sits down with former software engineer and author Cregg Lund to discuss the experiences that inspired his controversial book Silicon Satan. Lund shares how his journey inside Silicon Valley — once driven by excitement and innovation — transformed into a sobering awakening about the deeper forces and power structures he believes operate behind the tech world. Drawing from personal encounters and firsthand observations, Lund explains how Silicon Satan reflects what he witnessed within elite technology circles, including hidden influence, ethical conflicts, and the spiritual and moral struggles he faced while working inside the system. He recounts the turning points that led him to walk away from Silicon Valley entirely, including the dramatic circumstances surrounding his departure and his decision to live outside conventional society. The conversation explores broader themes raised in Silicon Satan — the concentration of technological power, the influence of major tech institutions on society, and the inner battle between truth, integrity, and control in a rapidly evolving digital world. Lund also discusses life after leaving Silicon Valley and how his experiences reshaped his understanding of freedom, purpose, and spiritual clarity. This episode offers a deeper look into the ideas behind Silicon Satan, the human story behind the book, and one insider's perspective on technology, power, and personal awakening. Join us for a conversation about decolonizing research, rethinking education, and building institutions that actually serve the communities at their center. Chris sits down with Dr. Alyssa Crittenden, who returns to the show, this time as Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Dean of the Graduate College at UNLV. Since we last talked about community-based participatory research with the Hadza, her work has expanded across research, leadership, and institutional change. We discuss how she balances administration with fieldwork and what it means to advocate for ethical, community-driven science from within the academy. Drawing on recent publications in Nature Human Behaviour and Nature Microbiology, Alyssa unpacks Indigenous child socialization, the structural violence embedded in many schooling systems, and how education can provide access to literacy and credentials without erasing local knowledge. We also explore the difference between “community-inclusive” and true community-based participatory research, the pitfalls of the word traditional, the value of tiered informed consent, and what equitable international collaboration looks like in practice. ------------------------------ Find the work discussed in this episode: Hays, J., Dounias, E., Ninkova, V. et al. In this episode of the Better the Pond Pondcast, Warren Barry sits down with Bob Lund, Corporate Health & Safety Manager at Main Road Group, for a candid and grounded conversation about youth in trades, safety leadership, and building meaningful career pathways. Bob shares his unexpected journey from mills, electrical work, and Alberta oil fields into safety management, highlighting how curiosity, mentorship, and hands-on experience shaped his career. Together, they explore what makes Main Road's employee-owned, family-style culture exceptional, and why safety is less about rules and more about influence, ethics, and trust. The conversation expands to the future of trades, education, and technology, challenging the idea that university is the only path to success. Warren and Bob emphasize the importance of early exposure, pre-apprenticeship programs, and real-world experience for young people—especially hands-on learners who thrive when building something tangible. They also discuss how AI will augment, not replace, skilled trades, reinforcing the irreplaceable value of human judgment, empathy, and experience. At its core, this episode is a reminder that the trades offer purpose, pride, financial stability, and the opportunity to make a real impact—on people, communities, and the youth get to leave their fingerprints on the world. "We need to focus on who we are." The secret to raising resilient children starts with the parent stepping away to find their own calm in the chaos. In this episode of the Real Things Living Podcast, Brigitte Cutshall explores the essentials of Parental Resilience with psychologist and author Dr. Kate Lund. Dr. Lund introduces her "Step Away" book, which focuses on the psychology of parenting and why resilient parenting requires us to prioritize our own well-being first. They dive into the comparison trap of social media, the importance of mindfulness for parents, and practical strategies for overcoming parental stress. By shifting from a "crisis mode" to a "resilient lifestyle," moms and dads can find better work-life balance for families and improve overall mental health for moms and dads.3 Key Takeaways(1) Manage the Baseline: Resilience isn't just for emergencies; it's a daily practice. Using tools like the "relaxation response" helps parents start their day at a lower stress level so they can ride life's challenges like a wave.(2) The "Step Away" Philosophy: Stepping away isn't about checked-out parenting; it's about putting on your own oxygen mask first. By prioritizing self-awareness and personal joy, parents can "step back in" more robustly for their families.(3) Context Over Comparison: High stress often stems from comparing our "messy" reality to curated digital lives. True resilience comes from optimizing within your own unique context and focusing on authentic human connection. To find more of Dr. Kate Lund's resources and pick up a copy of her new book, Step Away, visit her website at https://KateLundSpeaks.com Connect with her on: LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/kate-lund/Instagram https://www.instagram.com/dr_kate_lund/

The conversation explores the challenges and opportunities that come with operating on the Lightning Network, particularly for institutional players looking to maximize their Bitcoin holdings.Dave also elaborates on the significance of network topology in the Lightning ecosystem, explaining how a well-positioned node can enhance yield potential. He also addresses the security concerns that treasuries face when deploying Bitcoin on Lightning, advocating for improved security measures such as multi-signature solutions. Dave predicts that liquidity leasing could eventually replace the traditional bond market, positioning Bitcoin as a viable fixed-income asset.Takeaways:
Who do you dislike more in the NFC West - the Niners or the Rams? Ian would take San Francisco and really doesn't like Sean McVay. However, he does respect the fact that the two best teams and the two best coached teams are facing off this weekend: this is the Super Bowl. What will the Seahawks do at running back for this weekend? Indiana wins the National Championship, but that doesn't show that anybody can win it all. Money talks, but Curt Cignetti proved that you have to have a jackpot of a coach to get it done, especially one who can put together a stellar staff. Cignetti's talent evaluation is second to none, and Ian says that's much more important than being a good recruiter. The Daily Power Play! John Lund, Unleashed and Westwood One joins Ian from the Bay Area to break down NFC West hate. John's on the same page with Ian in distaste for Sean McVay. Looking to the future for the Niners, is there concern about Christian McCaffrey's longevity? Lund tells us why Seahawks fans won't be happy about the officiating crew this weekend. Alec McKee and Tori Lund Interview 1/9/2026 by KHOL
Send us a textThe pace of family life can turn even the best intentions into frayed nerves and short fuses. We sat down with Dr. Kate Lund—psychologist, author, TEDx speaker, and host of the Resilient Parenting Podcast—to unpack a practical path back to calm leadership at home. Her core idea is refreshingly doable: step away to step in. By carving out a few minutes to regulate stress and reflect, we show up steadier, more patient, and more connected with our kids.Dr. Lund opens up about her family, including supporting one twin's choice to attend a boarding school that fits his learning style and rowing goals while his brother thrives locally. The message: there's no single right path. When we stop comparing and start scouting for the right environment, kids gain confidence and momentum. She also shares her own story of childhood hydrocephalus, the role of her parents in focusing on possibility, and how those lessons shaped her clinical work with families navigating anxiety, burnout, and big transitions. We dig into two small habits with outsized impact. First, the relaxation response: a five-minute breathing practice, morning and night, anchored by a calming word. It lowers your baseline stress so difficult moments don't spiral. Second, the daily wins exercise: three to five things that went well each day to retrain your attention toward progress. One dad's journey from burnout to renewed joy in sport and family connection shows how tiny, repeatable steps rebuild identity and trust. Along the way we talk patience, gratitude rituals, journaling you'll actually use, and the power of two words to reset the room: breathe and think. If you're balancing career, parenting, and the invisible load, this conversation offers tools you can use tonight. Grab Dr. Lund's book Step Away: Keys to Resilient Parenting, subscribe to the Resilient Parenting Podcast, and share this episode with a friend who could use a calmer game plan. If it resonated, leave a review and tell us: what's one daily win you'll write down today?Support the showPlease don't forget to leave us a review wherever you consume your podcasts! Please help us get more dads to listen weekly and become the ultimate leader of their homes!
In this episode of the Epigenetics Podcast, we talked with Will Wang from Sanford Burnham Prebys about his work on muscle stem cell repair, regeneration, and aging, exploring spatial-omics and machine learning. We begin our conversation by exploring the traditional concepts of spatial biology and how they have evolved to play a critical role in disease research. Dr. Wang recounts his journey from a young student in a family of academics to becoming a leading figure in regenerative biology, highlighting how his early interests in life sciences, natural problem-solving abilities, and inspirations from mentorship set the stage for his current research trajectory. Throughout the discussion, we uncover key insights on how muscle stem cells transition from a quiescent state to a proliferative state in response to injury and how this dynamic process is governed by the epigenetic landscape and various signalling pathways. Dr. Wang emphasises the impact of external factors—be it microenvironment conditions or metabolic cues—on the fate and function of these stem cells, reflecting on the methodologies used to investigate these processes throughout his career. He shares fascinating findings from his PhD work, where he explored the regulatory role of transcription factors like PAX-7 in muscle stem cell activation, and how subsequent research developed in his postdoc at Stanford further illuminated the relationship between metabolism and histone acetylation. This pivotal work not only demonstrated how metabolic states dictate epigenetic modifications but also offered potential therapeutic insights for muscle degeneration and repair. As we move into more recent projects, Dr. Wang discusses the advances in multiplexed spatial proteomics and the insights garnered from a single-cell spatiotemporal atlas of muscle regeneration, which highlight the cellular heterogeneity in muscle tissue. He describes the use of novel computational tools, including neural networks, to uncover the regulatory mechanisms underlying stem cell function, particularly how prostaglandin signalling informs the regeneration process and how age impacts stem cell efficacy. The episode then wraps up with an engaging dialogue about the future implications of Dr. Wang's work in addressing age-related muscle degradation and broader applications in regenerative medicine. In Part 7 of the Corsi Nation series on Silicon Valley's hidden power culture, Cregg Lund joins Dr. Jerome Corsi to examine a lesser-known ideological influence explored in Lund's novel Silicon Satan: the tech elite's fascination with ancient Hawaiian tribal mysticism.Lund explains how his fictionalized narrative draws on historical sources and cultural themes to explore secret belief systems, ritual symbolism, and identity movements he argues are repackaged for modern power networks. The discussion focuses on how selective academic framing and modern “rebranding” can obscure controversial elements of history—including ritual practices that are rarely discussed in contemporary cultural analysis.

Dr. Lund shares insights from her work with elite performers, Navy SEALs, and families, offering practical strategies for navigating setbacks, injury, disappointment, and everyday stress. This conversation connects mindset, recovery, and family dynamics to show how resilience is built through small, intentional habits that lead to long-term performance, well-being, and success both on and off the field. To learn more visit @thesportsnutritionplaybook and thesportsnutritionplaybook.com.Check out our YouTube channel for more sports nutrition tips and tricks. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Camilo Eugenio Lund-Montaño live from Puerto Rico. Gus intends to find out right quick of Lund-Montaño is classified as a White person. White reading Evelyn Williams' Inadmissible Evidence in the Katherine Massey Book Club, Gus was struck by her commentary on the influx of White lawyers during the so called Civil Rights Movement. Williams was suspicious of their presence and wondered if their primary objective was to bolster their White reputations by representing “militant” negroes or if they were in some way connected to the widespread COINTELPRO campaigns of subversion to undermine attempts to Produce Justice. This led Gus to find Lund-Montaño's report: Out of Order: Radical Lawyers and Social Movements in the Cold War. This work examines the history of mostly White lawyers involvements with numerous non-white people and campaigns during the 1900s. It highlights how the National Lawyer's Guild, the American Bar Association, and the field of law in general was - and remains - overwhelmingly White and insufficiently concerned with countering Racism or aiding non-white attorneys and judges. It's noteworthy that NLG switched their focus to issues of sexism/White Women in the middle of the so called Civil Rights Movement. Nigh on 2026, White females are the growing majority of law school students, while black dudes represent one of the tiniest groups allowed to practice law. #RevJimJones #DrMarcusFoster INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE 564943#
