Happy Spooky Season, everyone!
Kylie, Yazmin, Baron, Yellow Boi Kai, Shelbsters and I watch WWE Halloween Havoc 2025. HAPPY SPOOKY SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Spooky Season, dear one! This week, in our Season 11 Finale, we are exploring a question that has been on my mind for quite some time. What is the history of Halloween costumes?!
Today we finish off the Universal Monster Reimaging block with a review of 2025's Wolf Man!A family is terrorized on an isolated farm by an aggressive, blood thirsty creature as the father combats a destructive and transformative disease.Happy Spooky Season!Directed by: Leigh WhannellWritten by: Leigh Whannell and Corbett TuckStarring: Christopher Abbott, Julia Garner, and Matilda FirthCome on in and have a listen! What do you think of this movie? What are others like it you enjoyed? We'd love to hear from you! Please like, follow, subscribe, share.
Ahh, welcome back, you reactor ghouls — and Happy Spooky Season! The crew is warming up for this year's Halloween special by talking about childhood scary stuff. Next week they're diving into the dark, eerie, likely sticky world of the 1999 Disney Channel Original Movie "Don't Look Under the Bed". It's a tale of boogeymen, teen angst, and the kind of practical effects that make you say, ‘Yes, this was pre-HD.' I, of course, appreciate it — mostly because it's one of the few times the mouse castle guys leaned into a Cronenberg vibe. As usual, the blather comes stocked with spoilers — big ones, lurking just beneath your bed. And there will be profanity, because nothing says ‘Halloween spirit' like shouting imaginative swears at a children's movie. If you need to catch up on past episodes or summon more of our cinematic nonsense, creep over to BSReactor.com — our digital crypt of content. It's got episodes, links, and a contact page that occasionally screams in the night. We've been meaning to check on it. Maybe it's screams of fun; don't judge us. Now then — light your jack-o-lanterns, lock your doors, and check under your bed twice. It's time for ghoulish giggles, childhood trauma, and the haunting realization that the real monsters… might just be the friends you made along the way.
Happy Spooky Season, Everyone! As many of you know, scary movies freak me out. But that doesn't mean I don't love today's guest! Today I'm talking to a horror icon— Freddy himself, Robert Englund! Robert is beloved for his performance as Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street and its many sequels. He has also had an illustrious career outside of Wes Craven's franchise, appearing in hundreds of films and TV shows, including a recent appearance as Victor Creel in Stranger Things. On Halloween of this year, he will be immortalized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and it could not be going to a sweeter, more generous person. Robert is a joy to talk with and I'm so honored he took the time to chat with me. We have gotten to know each other over years at conventions and we have a great conversation about what it's like to be associated with an iconic role, his warm relationship with horror fans and how he used his experience on-set to inform his performance as Freddy. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did— and Happy Halloween! Happy Spooky Season! Today we are finally venturing back into the Black Hills Forest with Blair Witch (2016), the modern sequel to the 1999 horror classic that haunted the dreams of many 90's kids. We unpack the film's updated found-footage style, explore its connections to the original, and debate whether the scares still hold up. Is this a worthy successor or should this witch just stayed lost in her creepy cabin in the woods? Tune in and find out. Happy Spooky Season, all! We're kicking off our October programming this year with a bang and covering two of our favorite things: horror movies and beautiful hardcover books.Clark Collis is a British entertainment journalist and a long time senior writer for Entertainment Weekly along with being a regular contributor to other outlets covering film. He's also a life long horror fan. Modern horror cinema is in a fascinating place and in his new book, Screaming and Conjuring, Clark charts the period of horror cinema that immediately preceeds our current time (from Scream to The Conjuring) to chart the course of how we got here and what we may expect going forward. Happy Spooky Season, gang! In this week's episode of So, You Like Horror?, we ride into Tim Burton's gothic masterpiece, Sleepy Hollow. Starring Johnny Depp as Ichabod Crane and Christina Ricci as Katrina Van Tassel, this supernatural horror classic reimagines Washington Irving's legend with blood-soaked decapitations, fog-drenched forests, and Burton's signature gothic flair. We break down the film's eerie plot, explore its blend of science and superstition, and discuss themes of corruption, trauma, gothic romance, and karmic justice. Was the true evil in Sleepy Hollow the Headless Horseman—or the human greed that summoned him? Join us as we unravel the film's haunting atmosphere, lasting influence, and its place in horror history.Thank you, everyone, for your support. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out on Instagram at @so_you_like_horror or email us directly at soyoulikehorror@gmail.com. We're open to all conversations, suggestions, topics, and criticisms.

“But, have you played lesbian multiple times!?” We're journalists, kids. And we're here with the one and only Beth Broderick. You Might Know Her From Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Lost, Psycho Beach Party, The 5 Mrs Buchanans, Bad Actress, Sharp Objects, Love & Death, Hearts Afire, and The Bonfire of the Vanities. Beth gave us all the goods on playing witch-cum-scientist-cum-CANDLE (!) Zelda Spellman on Sabrina the Teenage Witch and the specialness of reprising that role in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina 18 years later. We also got to discuss her working relationships with everyone from Marc Cherry to Brad Pitt to her Psycho Beach Party co-star Charles Busch; the wild ride that was the notorious The Bonfire of The Vanities (how tall is Bruce Willis, really?), and how her AIDS activism has connected her to the LGBT community. Don't tell us you thought the double features were over! We're having a two-movie Tuesweek extravaganza here at Spooky Tuesday, and given the fact that this is our Season 4 finale, it only felt right to go out with a bang. That's why we knew we had to turn our Paranormal Activity (2009) episode into a movie marathon, especially since Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) dovetails so nicely with the first. Or does it? For our final episode of the season, we're breaking into the found footage franchise as we explore the lore and try to control our rage reactions enough to have a civilized conversation. It's not just our season finale — it's also the last day to order our fall merch! We've got an exciting new merch design available on shirts, sweatshirts, and tote bags(!!!!), and we've also got Spooky Tuesday logo beanies ready to keep your head warm all the way 'til spring. Our shop closes on Tuesday, September 24 at 11:59 p.m., so don't miss your chance to get your order in. Happy Spooky Season! Time to ranked arguably the greatest horror franchise of all time! Tell us your ranking of the Scream franchise!
When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. And when the universe gives you a second birthday episode, you make it a double feature. Luckily, Chelsea knows just the right flicks to pick — and they happen to be on theme. Birthday-time-loop-slasher stories Happy Death Day (2017) and Happy Death Day 2U (2019) are best viewed back-to-back, and they're both a hell of a lot of fun. Perfectly straddling genre lines, these horror-rom-comedies (hocoros?) will have you feeling the full spectrum of human emotion. They also feature all kinds of creative death scenes, and with Jessica Rothe as the face of the franchise, you'll be on the edge of your seat for each and every one. On our latest Spooky Tuesday, we're talking about our favorite kills, our college crushes, and shouting out these movies' most iconic lines.Want to join the celebrations? You can buy yourself a spooky little present! We've got an exciting new merch design available on shirts, sweatshirts, and tote bags(!!!!), and we've also got Spooky Tuesday logo beanies ready to keep your head warm all the way 'til spring. Our shop is open for presale starting September 10 at 12:00 a.m. PST, and you've got until Tuesday, September 24 at 11:59 p.m. to get your order in. Happy Spooky Season! There's still time... to watch I Saw the TV Glow (2024) before this week's episode, Spookies. And it's sort of required viewing if you want to join us as we explore the neon, nostalgic world of Jane Schoenbrun's sophomore film. An unsettling slow-burn starring Justice Smith and Brigette Lundy-Paine with special guests Amber Benson, Fred Durst, and Phoebe Bridgers, this flick throws it back to an earlier time when waiting for the new episode of your favorite show so you could watch it with your bestie was absolutely everything. Let's be real, though. If you're like us (someone who... likes TV), it can still be everything. Join us as we immerse ourselves in the universe of The Pink Opaque and kick off of the fall with a hearty soup party. Yayyy, soup party!!You know what else is a fun way to celebrate fall? Doing a little spooky shopping!
