C dans l'air du 18 mars 2026 - Municipales : des alliances... et des surprises ?La campagne des municipales se tend, à l'image des insultes et menaces proférées par le maire sortant d'Arcachon Yves Foulon à son rival écologiste Vital Baude, qui a porté plainte. À quatre jours du second tour, les candidats ont mené mardi d'ultimes tractations avant 18h, heure fatidique pour le dépôt des listes électorales. Contre toute attente, le président des Républicains Bruno Retailleau a refusé d'apporter son soutien à Christian Estrosi, distancé par Eric Ciotti au premier tour, en dépit de l'accord national qui liait LR et Horizons. L'ancien ministre de l'Intérieur a justifié son choix par "la campagne délétère à Nice", mais il fait aussi payer au maire sortant de vieilles querelles politiques, notamment son manque de soutien à François Fillon lors de la présidentielle 2017. À Toulouse, les socialistes et La France insoumise ont mis leurs égos de côté pour former une liste commune susceptible de battre le maire divers droite Jean-Luc Moudenc. À l'inverse, les socialistes se déchirent à Strasbourg. Arrivée en tête au premier tour, la candidate socialiste Catherine Trautmann a annoncé une alliance avec le candidat d'Horizons pour contrer l'alliance que la maire sortante écologiste, Jeanne Barseghian, a noué avec les Insoumis. De quoi rebattre les cartes pour le second tour, où tout peut arriver. C'est le cas à Paris, où le candidat Horizons Pierre-Yves Bournazel (11, 34 %) a fusionné avec la liste de Rachida Dati (25, 46 %), arrivée deuxième du premier tour derrière Emmanuel Grégoire (37, 98 %), tandis que la candidate Reconquête! Sarah Knafo (10, 40 %) a retiré la sienne. Des manœuvres qui pourraient rebattre les cartes pour le second tour. À gauche, Sophia Chikirou (11, 72 %)a maintenu sa candidature, après avoir échoué à fusionner avec la liste socialiste. « Là où la France insoumise arrive en tête [du premier tour], la fusion se fait. Et là où le PS arrive en tête, ils la refusent de façon sectaire et anormale », a-t-elle dénoncé dans les colonnes du Parisien. Ce soir, les trois candidats auront l'occasion de régler leurs comptes, en direct, lors du débat organisé par BFM-TV. Un temps écartée, Sophia Chikirou a finalement été invitée par la chaîne. À Marseille aussi, l'heure est à l'incertitude. Le candidat du Rassemblement national Franck Allisio est arrivé deuxième du premier tour (35, 02 %), juste derrière le maire sortant Benoît Payan (36, 70 %). En quatrième position, le candidat LFI Sébastien Delogu (11, 94 %) a préféré jeter l'éponge : « Nous prenons la décision de retirer notre liste et de ne pas participer aux paris inconséquents de Benoît Payan », a-t-il déclaré lors d'une conférence de presse, mardi. Dans la deuxième ville de France aussi, le débat de l'entre-deux tours, prévu jeudi soir sur France 2, devrait bouleverser les dynamiques. Troisième du premier tour, la candidate LR Martine Vassal (12, 41 %) devrait participer à un débat à trois, malgré l'hostilité de Franck Allisio qui a jugé qu'elle n'avait « strictement aucune chance » d'être élue. C dans l'air du 16 mars 2026 - Municipales : LFI surprend, le RN confirmePlus de 50 millions de Français étaient appelés aux urnes ce dimanche 15 mars pour élire leurs maires. Un premier tour des municipales marqué par une très forte abstention, bien plus élevée que ce qu'anticipaient les sondages. Ainsi, entre 41,5 % et 44 % des personnes inscrites sur les listes électorales n'ont pas voté lors de ce scrutin, selon les estimations de plusieurs instituts de sondage. Du jamais-vu, hors crise sanitaire. Lors du dernier scrutin municipal classique, en 2014, le taux d'abstention n'avait pas dépassé 36,6 %.Au-delà de cette abstention record lors de ce scrutin, les premiers résultats ont traduit une progression, au niveau local, de l'implantation de l'extrême droite, qui conserve plusieurs mairies comme Hénin-Beaumont et Perpignan, mais progresse aussi en général, notamment à Marseille, souvent au détriment de la droite, à qui le président du RN a « tendu la main » dès 20 h hier soir pour l'emporter au second tour.Appelant à « un grand rassemblement de la droite » pour faire gagner les candidats LR au second tour des élections municipales, Bruno Retailleau a réitéré sa consigne de vote : aucune voix pour LFI. Le patron de LR, qui s'est lancé dans la course à la présidentielle il y a un mois, a toutefois élargi sa consigne aux « socialistes, écologistes ou communistes qui se sont alliés avec l'extrême gauche au premier tour ou qui vont s'allier (avec elle) cette semaine entre les deux tours ».À gauche, si les socialistes, alliés avec les écologistes et le PCF, ont remporté de nombreuses mairies et sont en position de conserver plusieurs grandes villes, La France insoumise réalise de son côté de fortes poussées. Le mouvement de Jean-Luc Mélenchon a remporté dès le premier tour la ville de Saint-Denis, en Seine-Saint-Denis, et s'est hissé soit en tête, soit en position de conditionner la victoire de la gauche au second tour dans plusieurs grandes villes, comme à Roubaix, à Limoges, à Toulouse ou à Lille.Sur X, Jean-Luc Mélenchon s'est félicité d'une « magnifique percée ». I understand the basic concept of the piston driven rifle; doesn't dump trash and heat into the bolt so much as well as other things… (maybe Jeremy can even explain some of the differences of some of the different piston systems, if we're lucky enough for him to oblige us in between burps and yawns and hitting his mic if he'snot playing clash of clans [love you Jerombe]) So why though? Il s'y mêlera enjeux locaux et nationaux, peut-être d'autant plus que, cette année, le vote se tient tout juste un an avant l'élection présidentielle, un cas de figure qui ne s'est présenté qu'en 1965 et en 2001.Selon Émeric Bréhier, directeur de l'Observatoire de la vie politique de la Fondation Jean Jaurès, si LFI et le RN ont beaucoup à gagner de ces élections et chercheront à en faire un enjeu national, à l'inverse, le PS et LR essaieront avant tout de conserver les villes qu'ils détiennent, pour montrer qu'ils restent des partis qui comptent, qui ont une base locale solide et surtout qu'ils peuvent avoir une carte à jouer lors de la présidentielle. Alors que les regards se concentrent beaucoup sur les grandes villes, l'un des enjeux de ces élections devrait être le sort de nombre de moyennes et de petites municipalités qui pourraient basculer à l'extrême droite, mais, le Rassemblement national aborde les municipales avec l'onction des sondages nationaux, mais un ancrage local toujours fragile. Le parti de Jordan Bardella détient moins de 15 villes, dont une seule de plus de 100.000 habitants. Officiellement : pas d'objectif chiffré avancé, ni de villes visées.Au Havre, l'ancien Premier ministre, Édouard Philippe candidat à la présidentielle 2027, a lui-même lié son destin national à cette échéance locale. Un pari risqué. « Si j'échouais à convaincre les Havrais (...), je ne serais pas dans une bonne position pour espérer convaincre les Français », a-t-il déjà prévenu. Dans le camp présidentiel, en revanche, on semble déjà vouloir oublier ce scrutin avant même qu'il n'ait lieu, tant il s'annonce comme un révélateur de la faiblesse du macronisme à l'échelle locale.Selon un sondage Odoxa-Mascaret publié mardi pour Public Sénat et la presse régionale, 55 % des Français souhaitent l'élection d'un autre maire plutôt que la réélection de leur maire actuel au scrutin des 15 et 22 mars. Cette aspiration au changement est motivée par des enjeux locaux, en premier lieu : 76 % des sondés affirment qu'ils se prononceront en fonction d'enjeux « spécifiques à leur commune », tandis que 24 % auront des enjeux nationaux en tête. Ce dernier score est en progression de 5 points par rapport au mois de novembre, preuve, pour l'institut de sondage que ces municipales, premières élections convoquées après les législatives anticipées de juin 2024, dessineront la ligne de départ de la campagne pour l'élection présidentielle. C'est parmi les sympathisants de LFI (28 %) et du RN (27 %) que se trouvent le plus d'électeurs qui choisiront leur maire avec l'Élysée en point de mire.QUATRE ANNÉES DE GUERRE : EFFETS SUR LA RUSSIEAprès quatre ans de guerre en Ukraine, selon les évaluations concordantes des chercheurs et des services de renseignement occidentaux, on compte plus d'un million et demi de soldats russes hors de combat morts, blessés, prisonniers et disparus. Sur le terrain, d'après DeepState, collectif ukrainien de cartographie en sources ouvertes, la Russie a occupé en 2025 moins de 1 % du pays ukrainien. Analyses corroborées par l'Institut pour l'étude de la guerre. Mi-février, le secrétaire général de l'Otan, Mark Rutte, évoquait environ 65.000 soldats russes tués ou blessés en l'espace de deux mois, qualifiant ces pertes de « folles ». Pour les alliés de l'Ukraine, ces chiffres interrogent la capacité de Moscou à maintenir durablement son effort de guerre sans décision politiquement risquée, comme une nouvelle vague de mobilisation.D'autant que l'économie russe se dégrade. Le gouvernement cherche donc d'autres sources de revenus. Les consommateurs russes sont confrontés à l'inflation (5,6 % officiellement, bien au-delà de 10 % en réalité), la hausse des défauts de crédits bancaires, et la réduction des heures travaillées dans les usines.La guerre menée contre l'Ukraine s'accompagne d'une mise au pas de plus en plus violente de la société russe. Le taux de popularité de Vladimir Poutine ne semble pas fléchir : plus de 80 % des Russes disent approuver son action, selon Levada, le centre d'études d'opinion indépendant de l'Etat. Un chiffre à prendre cependant avec précaution comme dans tout pays où, sans liberté d'expression, les sondages sont menés dans un climat de peur et de délation. Sans opposition politique ni critiques dans la presse, sans société civile ni débats publics parmi les élites, cette popularité apparente cache une réalité : en quatre ans, la chape de plomb imposée par le Kremlin s'est alourdie. C dans l'air du 27 février 2026 - "Epstein ou Epstine" : à quoi joue Mélenchon ?Sa prise de parole était attendue. Le leader insoumis Jean-Luc Mélenchon a tenu hier un meeting à Lyon, deux semaines jours après la mort du militant nationaliste Quentin Deranque, après des affrontements avec des antifascistes. Devant 2 000 sympathisants galvanisés, l'ancien député des Bouches-du-Rhône a condamné les événements tout en accusant le groupuscule identitaire Nemesis d'avoir orchestré l'affrontement : « Elles voulaient un incident pour que surgissent des gens armés, casqués, cagoulés. (…) Une organisation criminelle ! ». Tout en condamnant la violence de « ces jeunes qui ont perdu leur sang-froid », il a demandé la dissolution du collectif Nemesis et renouvelé son soutien à La Jeune Garde, groupe déjà dissous en juin 2025 : « La Jeune Garde n'a jamais voulu à aucun moment la mort de qui que ce soit, parce que leur formation ne prévoit pas qu'on tue ». Commentant enfin le scandale Epstein, il a ironisé sur la prononciation de ce nom. Une charge antisémite ciblant les médias, accusés à demi-mots de vouloir couvrir un scandale international, dans une approche très complotiste. Ses propos ont fait réagir sur X le président du Conseil représentatif des institutions juives de France, Yonathan Arfi : « N'en déplaise à Jean-Luc Mélenchon, un élève de cinquième sait qu'en anglais “Epstein” se prononce “Epstine” (…) Voir dans cette prononciation une manipulation est un délire complotiste aux vrais relents antisémites ». Sur le côté droit de l'échiquier politique, ce sont deux anciens de la famille LR qui se livrent un duel fratricide à Nice. D'un côté, le maire actuel, Christian Estrosi, candidat Horizons qui vise un quatrième mandat, et de l'autre le député Union des droites (UDR) Eric Ciotti, allié du RN. Les deux candidats se sont mutuellement disputé des collaborateurs, à l'image de Françoise Meunier, adjointe historique de Christian Estrosi, récemment passée dans le camp Ciotti. « On ressent des coups bas comme je n'en avais que rarement ressenti dans ma vie politique », a récemment déclaré Christian Estrosi à RTL. Porté par la vague RN à Nice, ville très ancrée à droite, Eric Ciotti est largement en tête dans les derniers sondages, tandis que Christian Estrosi semble payer sa proximité avec Emmanuel Macron. Le président de la République, lui, n'a pas hésité à profiter du remaniement d'hier soir pour placer plusieurs de ses proches à des postes clés, une semaine après la nomination polémique de sa ministre des Comptes publics Amélie Montchalin à… la Cour des comptes, chargée de certifier les comptes de l'État. Catherine Pégard, 71 ans, ancienne présidente du château de Versailles, jusqu'alors conseillère culture à l'Élysée, succède à Rachida Dati au ministère de la Culture. Proche du couple présidentiel, l'ex-ministre de la ville Sabrina Roubache est nommée ministre déléguée à l'enseignement, à la formation professionnelle et à l'apprentissage. This episode explores what it means to eat sanely and joyfully in an age of ultra-processed food, GLP-1 drugs, and endless conflicting nutrition advice — through the lens of Jeff Siegel's “Eating 2.0” and Integral theory. Jeff begins with his own origin story: as a teenager he developed severe anorexia, dropping to a dangerously low weight while locked in a “civil war” between his mind and body. That crisis sent him on a long journey through neuroscience, behavioral biology, Eastern philosophy, and eventually Integral theory as he tried to understand what had gone so wrong in his relationship with food—and how to help others avoid the same fate. Out of this comes a view of eating that is biological and psychological, personal and cultural, individual and systemic all at once. Using the four-quadrant map (inner/outer, individual/collective), Jeff and Keith reframe eating as a fundamentally integral affair. There's the chemistry of food and metabolism (UR), our inner stories and emotions around eating and body image (UL), the cultures and microcultures that tell us what's “normal” or desirable (LL), and the wider food system of industrial agriculture, subsidies, marketing, and access (LR). Any real change, they argue, has to acknowledge all four, rather than reducing the problem to “just your macros,” “just diet culture,” or “just Big Food.” At the heart of the conversation is Jeff's “inner eaters” model: a cast of five parts—Survival, Pleasure, Social, Strategic, and Ecological eaters—each corresponding to different developmental needs and values. The survival eater wants basic nourishment and regulation; the pleasure eater craves enjoyment and immediacy; the social eater longs for belonging and ritual; the strategic eater optimizes for performance and control; and the ecological eater cares about ethics, animals, and the planet. Most of us over-identify with one or two of these and pathologize the rest, which leads to predictable distortions—rigidity, bingeing, moralizing, or burnout. Integral eating means recognizing who's “holding the fork” in any given moment and learning to coordinate these voices under a wiser inner leadership. The episode then locates these inner dynamics inside what Jeff calls “Food 2.0”: a radically novel, engineered food environment built to be irresistible, effortless, and endless. Ultra-processed products, omnipresent snacking, and algorithmic food media are not neutral—they are designed to capture our pleasure eater and overwhelm our survival eater's signals. Against this backdrop, the usual moralizing about “willpower” looks naïve. Instead, Jeff emphasizes designing environments, habits, and inner agreements that make it easier to stay centered in a world of superabundance. GLP-1 drugs (Ozempic, Wegovy, etc.) enter as both a genuine breakthrough and a test of our maturity. For some, these medications finally quiet a lifetime of intrusive food noise; for others, they risk becoming another one-dimensional fix that ignores deeper psychological, cultural, and systemic factors. Jeff walks through how GLP-1s interact with each inner eater, and argues that the real opportunity is to use the pharmacological breathing room to re-educate taste, renegotiate social patterns, and embed tech within a broader upgrade in sleep, stress, movement, and meaning—rather than outsourcing the entire project of eating to pharma.
