VOV1 - Ngày 11/05, tại Hà Nội, Bệnh viện Mắt Trung ương phối với các tổ chức quốc tế (WHO, ORBIS, ECF, FHF, BHVI) khởi động Chương trình điều tra đánh giá nhanh tỷ lệ mù lòa có thể phòng tránh được tại Việt Nam (RAAB) năm 2026.Việt Nam đã thực hiện điều tra về tình hình mù lòa có thể phòng tránh được vào năm 2007 và năm 2015, từ đó có giải pháp thanh toán bệnh mắt hột và giảm được số trường hợp mù lòa do đục thể thủy tinh….. Tuy nhiên, đến nay những số liệu điều tra đã cũ, không còn sát thực tiễn, do đó, Bệnh viện Mắt Trung ương công bố bắt đầu thực hiện một cuộc điều tra mới về tình mù lòa ở những người trên 50 tuổi ở nước ta.Phát biểu tại sự kiện diễn ra sáng 11/05, Thứ trưởng Bộ Y tế Trần Văn Thuấn cho biết, mô hình bệnh tật về mắt đang thay đổi nhanh chóng. Tình trạng già hóa dân số và gia tăng bệnh không lây nhiễm đang đặt ra những yêu cầu mới cho công tác chăm sóc mắt. Ước tính Việt Nam hiện có khoảng 2 triệu người mù hoặc giảm thị lực; trong đó, 80% nguyên nhân gây mù có thể phòng hoặc điều trị được, như đục thể thủy tinh, glôcôm, tật khúc xạ và nhiều bệnh lý khác.Cuộc điều tra các bệnh mù lòa có thể phòng tránh được lần này sẽ giúp cho ngành y tế có hướng đi đúng đắn, để chăm sóc sức khỏe đôi mắt cho nhân dân trong giai đoạn mới, theo tinh thần Nghị quyết 72 của Bộ Chính trị. Phó Giáo sư, Tiến sĩ Phạm Ngọc Đông, Giám đốc Bệnh viện Mắt Trung ương cho biết, 48 người tham gia cuộc điều tra sẽ tìm hiểu thông tin từ 15.850 người dân để làm rõ về cơ cấu bệnh lý mắt, tỷ lệ người dân mắc bệnh và nguyên nhân gây các bệnh mù lòa có thể phòng tránh được.“Sau hơn 10 năm kể từ 2015, với sự phát triển kinh tế xã hội của đất nước, sự chuyển mình sâu rộng của chuyên ngành mắt, với sự thay đổi cơ cấu bệnh tật nói chung, bệnh mắt nói riêng. Chúng ta cần có những số liệu thực tế nhất về các mặt bệnh mắt hiện nay, để biết rằng Ai là người bị bệnh, bao nhiêu người bị bệnh, bệnh đó là bệnh gì? Nguyên nhân gây bệnh là gì? Người bệnh ở vùng nào? He has testified before Congress and has been published in academic journals and the popular press. These include International Security, Orbis, Political Science Quarterly, the Review of International Studies, Security Studies, World Policy Journal, The New York Times, Foreign Affairs, RealClearPolitics, and National Review.A Rhodes scholar, Dr. Dueck has a PhD in politics from Princeton University and an MPhil in international relations from Oxford University. What a great SURPRISE from family yesterday. We were expecting our nephew Joshua and his son Jeremy…they showed up…and with them our niece Nikki and her husband and children and with them our nephew Shane's daughter! At Wickham Park there was a Food Fest & Crafts Show. Spent a good portion of the day there. Then off to the beach and to an Indialantic Surf Shop…then to Captain Hiram's Sand Bar in Sebastian for dinner. I do hope that they will all come back soon! Our fridge is malfunctioning lately! It has the rolling temp setting dial, not digital. I set it at the recommended three dot setting and lo and behold…things inside are FREEZING UP! I check the temp dial and somehow; not by my doing or Lori's doing, the temp control is set at the coldest setting! Nothing that we can see touches it on the inside. This has happened on more than one occasion.
