He's often overlooked, but he's one of the most important characters in the Christmas story. Joseph, Jesus' earthly father, is a wonderful example of healthy masculinity in several ways. First, Joseph did the right thing. When he first learned of Mary's pregnancy, he planned to divorce her quietly, so he wouldn't shame her. But after being visited by an angel, he chose to trust God and stay with Mary. Second, Joseph protected Jesus, taking him to Egypt to avoid King Herod's wrath. And finally, Joseph provided for his family. He worked as a carpenter, and taught his son his trade as well. You probably won't hear much about Joseph this Christmas. Remind your son that the father of Jesus showed trust, a quiet faithfulness, and ultimately played an unspeakably important role in the earthly life of our Savior. On today's show, I share my review of the latest Great American Family movie, My Christmas Hero. This heartwarming and honest film highlights the service and sacrifice of our troops and reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas. The well-told story is sure to bring both smiles and tears to viewers. It also reminds us that redemption came to us through the birth of Jesus Christ, who was born to go to the cross and save us. So, listen and rejoice! :)

Happy Holiday Punky Peeps, Here's the final Christmas episode of Punky Brewster S4E7 Christmas Hero which aired on May 5, 1988. In this episode during the Christmas season, Punky finds a briefcase full of stolen money. I went sorta off the cuff on this episode and just watched the episode as I delivered my commentary. I comment on the desire for the return of the soft drink Diet Dr. Pepper Cherry Chocolate as a annual holiday treat, the fact that the boy who plays Jerry doesn't have the best line delivery and list other works on this actor's IMDB page, Punky's awesome wardrobe, her attempt at getting donations while working at Punky's Place along with it's cool look,Cherie's metabolism to eat all those cookies and Brandon wrapped in that blanket (I even posted a picture on Instagram)plus I said some other stuff too. Even though this was the weakest of all the Punky Brewster Christmas centered episodes I enjoyed throwing out my commentary. Enjoy everybody!
