Hear how Dart performed in camp, why Brian Daboll was glued to him during drills, and what his early stats and command of the huddle might say about his future. Dart's mini camp showing included sharp throws, solid decision-making, and a 45-yard touchdown bomb that turned heads. We look at the symbolism and where Carter fits in among linebackers. Cam Skattebo speaks out about his underdog mindset and how he still has everything to prove despite a dominant final college season. Rumors are swirling that he could take over as the Giants' 3rd down back, especially with Tyrone Tracy's struggles catching passes last season. We also cover recent NY Giants roster moves including the team waiving Casey Rogers, Tommy McCormick, and RJ Delancy III, and the surprise re-signing of Lil'Jordan Humphrey just days after cutting him. The Giants also made a key addition, signing TJ Moore, a ball-hawking cornerback from Mercer, who stood out at camp and has real potential to crack the Giants final roster. Send us a textIn this full episode of *2 Giants Goofballs: New York Giants News & Updates*, hosts Drew and Rob go all-in on breaking down the top outside cornerback prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft as the New York Giants look to reshape their secondary. With the Giants still seeking depth at cornerback this detailed analysis explores who might be the next elite shutdown DB to land in New York. The guys examine more than a dozen prospects in this jam-packed show, diving deep into player traits, college production, combine buzz, and overall fit within the Giants' defensive system. The conversation kicks off with Michigan's Will Johnson, a physical prototype at 6'2” and 202 pounds who has the accolades and ball production to justify his top-15 projection. Rob and Drew discuss how quarterbacks avoided him in college and how his high football IQ and sticky coverage style could translate to the NFL. Then it's time for Travis Hunter out of Colorado, one of the most electrifying and versatile players in college football. Despite playing both WR and CB, Hunter still managed to win the Heisman Trophy and multiple defensive awards. Drew and Rob break down his top-5 upside and whether his smaller frame will hold up at the next level.Texas standout Jahdae Barron is another hot name the Goofballs spotlight, praised for his versatility, instincts, and ability to contribute in multiple areas — including special teams. Rob questions how Barron's aggressive style might fit in Wink Martindale's former system or a future Giants scheme. They move on to Shavon Revel Jr. from East Carolina, who has elite length and special teams prowess but saw his 2024 season cut short by an ACL tear. Notre Dame's Benjamin Morrison, Kentucky's Maxwell Hairston, and Florida State's Azareye'h Thomas all get detailed scouting breakdowns too, with notes on their strengths in coverage and concerns about durability, ball production, and run support. The duo dives into deeper round prospects like Iowa State's Darien Porter — a 6'4” converted wide receiver who flashed at the combine but remains raw — and LSU's Zy Alexander, a long, physical corner with a strong tackling mindset but limited upside. They examine Denzel Burke out of Ohio State, a former wideout who brings physicality and experience but may struggle with elite receivers deep. California's Nohl Williams impressed with 7 INTs in 2024 but needs to improve his lateral agility, while Virginia Tech's Dorian Strong, Kansas State's Jacob Parrish, and Louisville's Quincy Riley round out the list of potential late-round or Day 3 pickups, each with tools that could be developed with the right coaching. If you're a die-hard Giants fan or just crave in-depth NFL Draft coverage, this is the episode for you. Steve Cully and UConn Football Legendary QB Shane Stafford host the show, and it's a wild episode.Shane shares his thoughts on Tennessee Football QB Nico Lamaleva skipping meetings and practices right before the Spring Game because he wanted to negotiate a new NIL deal. Insane considering he was signed as a junior in high school, signed a 4-year NIL deal, and started being paid as a senior. Unprecedented at the time, he made 2 million dollars a year. The day before the spring game, he decides he wants more money and disappears. Allegedly, they tried to renegotiate, but Nico was asking for 4 million a year because he saw other players receive more money. Despite throwing for 2600 yards, 19 TDs, and 5 INTs, he thinks that is worth 4 million bucks a year. Coach Josh Heupel took a stand and dismissed Nico to a rousing applause from TENNESSEE FANS (Grupo Oficial). Now that is a leader! Coach Heupel received praise from coaches and fans around the country for putting the team first and not allowing Nico to hold them hostage! We talk about former Georgia Football QB Jayden Rashada is on the move again. He left Florida after an NIL dispute and went to Arizona State. Then transferred again to Georgia last year and now is leaving there.College Football is broken, and NCAA Football should be embarrassed. Charlie Baker, as commissioner, is completely impotent. Yes, the players deserve to be paid; the NCAA has made billions off these kids for years. Instead of doing his actual job, putting together a plan to regulate how to pay players or restrict the transfer portal. This Ozempic, worthless, joke of a leader is ruining college sports. The NCAA tournament was blah overall. Football is fun to watch, but there is no loyalty, and Charlie lets it all happen. He loses in court and is the worst figurehead in sports.

0:00-28:07 - The Ride with JMV starts on a Monday with a recap of Super Bowl LIX, where the Eagles dominated on all three phases and prevented a Chiefs 3-peat. JMV dives deep into the pregame, halftime, commercial breaks and the game itself. He poses the question - What do the Colts need to do to get back to relevancy? 28:07-41:44 – JMV continues the Colts conversation on the phone lines with so many Indiana ties to Super Bowl LIX. Chiefs’ backup QB Carson Wentz helped get the Eagles to their first Super Bowl win in 2017, then was traded to Indianapolis and the picks that Philadelphia received in return set them up to acquire AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, Jalen Carter and Cooper DeJean. 41:44-45:10 – JMV compares Carson Wentz’ “failed” 2021 season to what Anthony Richardson provided (or failed to provide) last year. Indianapolis would throw a parade if Richardson threw for 27 TDs, 7 INTs, 3500+ yards and had a 62% completion percentage. 45:10-1:17:58 – JMV starts the second hour with former Indiana basketball player Brian Evans. After figuring out why Evans is called “Dutch”, the two dive into the Mike Woodson news from over the weekend. Woodson is retiring at the end of the season, and Evans gives his opinion on what that means to the program. He is critical on the state of IU basketball, and gives his ideas on who should succeed Woodson. 1:17:58-1:21:53 – JMV recaps the Brian Evans conversation and talks about what last night’s Super Bowl means for the Indianapolis Colts. 1:21:53-1:28:56 – JMV opens the phone lines to talk about all things Indianapolis sports. 1:28:56-1:56:54 – JMV starts the third hour with ESPN’s Stephen Holder. They recap last night’s Super Bowl halftime show and talk about the game itself. What similarities do the Colts have stylistically with the Eagles and how can Indianapolis return to relevancy? They then discuss what offseason moves the Colts could make to bolster the QB room and give Anthony Richardson some competition. 1:56:54-2:09:22 – JMV gives away concert tickets and talks about upcoming listener events, including his LIVE show at Tom’s Watch Bar tomorrow afternoon. 2:09:22-2:10:45 - JMV closes the show. Dog Ownership and Neighbor Issues 00:24:30 – 00:29:07 Matt complains about cleaning up after his dog in the backyard before snowfall. Chris shares how his dogs only use one area of the yard, which is both a blessing and a problem. Matt vents about neighbors who don't pick up after their dogs. Dental Office Mishap & Open-Concept Dentistry 00:41:03 – 00:44:16 Matt shares a story about showing up to his dentist only to find they moved locations without informing him. The boys are back this week with another fun filled episode starting exactly where we thought they would: discussing socio-geographic cultural stereotypes and which NFL team represents a historic country. The answers… will shock you. As they jump into the actual ball talk this week, Josh and Dante spend a bit of time recapping the Ravens vs. Browns week 18 game. The Ravens did exactly what we hoped they'd do and took care of business, beating Cleveland 35-10. Nate Wiggins secured his first NFL interception which he took for a touchdown, Lamar Jackson added to his already legendary season with a few more passing touchdowns, Derrick Henry closed the season just shy of 2,000 yards, and the game was kissed to bed by the sweet treat of 370-pound Michael Pierce intercepting Bailey Zappe becoming the third-heaviest player to ever record an INT. Dante believes that, despite all the good displayed by the Ravens, that this game was actually far from perfect and the Ravens have some kinks to iron out ahead of their playoff matchup this upcoming week. Thank God we played against Bailey Zappe and Dorian Thompson-Robinson. Lamar finished the season with the fourth highest single season passer rating of all time, trailing only Aaron Rodgers (twice), and Peyton Manning. Which then, of course, spurred the boys into another debate surrounding the MVP debate and who they believe should win the award. Moving on to the task at hand, the Ravens have a rubber match against the PIttsburgh Steelers for the AFC Wild Card this upcoming weekend. The boys cut a few promos and explain why every able body in Baltimore should be part of the noise at the bank this Saturday night. Josh gives his keys to victory and explains why we, both as a team and city, need this win badly. Dante goes through Pittsburgh's numbers on the season and gives his keys as well. The boys wrap up with some chatting on the college football playoff heading into the semifinal, and Dante hypes up his Irish. They finish with some music recommendations and Josh talks about his upcoming shows, and we send you all into what will hopefully be the best weekend of our lives. Cheers to you!

We are back to our regularly scheduled programming following the holidays and just in time to wrap up the Seahawks season. The Seahawks defeated the Rams to finish 10-7, but, of course, they miss the playoffs, making them the first team since 202 and the 1st team since the NFL went to a 17-game schedule to win 10 games and miss the playoffs. The Seahawks were playing for something though- incentives. Geno got all of his incentives after throwing 4 TDs and 0 INTs in the game. Was it his last game with the Seahawks? It's that time of year again- NFL teams are firing coaches already, but perhaps more surprising than some of the firings have been some of the teams that have chosen to retain coaches & GMs. :30- It's a World Pants Party, and perhaps the final party of the season with the regular season coming to an end. Denver gets into the playoffs for the first time in 9 years, the Bengals are eliminated, and the Lions clinch the No 1 seed for the 1st time in franchise history. :45- Coach Bucky is here! - Seahawks TE's Noah Fant and AJ Barner looked pretty good this season- did Coach see enough out of them to keep both moving forward? - What is his can't miss game this weekend (aside from the Broncos)? - Hyeseong Kim goes to the Dodgers and the Mariners still have done nothing. Is Coach Bucky bothered?

Week 13 in the 2024 NFL season, perhaps like your Thanksgiving meal, was not without its mess. The ugly finishes and strange special teams results from the Thursday and Friday matchups bled into Sunday as weird kicking, turnovers and baffling play continued through the weekend.Nate Tice & Charles McDonald discuss their 5 most important games from Sunday's action, starting with the Atlanta Falcons falling to the Los Angeles Chargers, thanks to Kirk Cousins' 4 interceptions. Charles laments his hometown Falcons and how this was actually a very winnable game for the Dirty Birds, if it weren't for Cousins' penchant for giving up the ball.Next up, a tight matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens that might have finished differently if it weren't for a trio of missed kicks by legend Justin Tucker. The guys wrap up the show discussing the Minnesota Vikings coming back late against the Arizona Cardinals, Anthony Richardson's final drive heroics in a win over the New England Patriots & the New York Jets doing New York Jets thing in a home loss to the Seattle Seahawks.(2:10) - Falcons fall to Chargers(10:35) - Eagles defense holds back Ravens(18:15) - Vikings come back late against Cardinals(24:55) - Richardson's Colts win in final moments against Patriots(32:15) - Jets continue lackluster offense against Seahawks
