Pastor Travis Bennett
The great news - the mission of The Church has remained the same since Jesus’ resurrection even through the pandemic Matthew 28:18-20 NCV “Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All power in heaven and on earth is given to me. So go and make followers of all people in the world. Baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach them to obey everything that I have taught you, and I will be with you always, even until the end of this age.’” The Church has survived, and will survive, every season, good or bad, until His return! So, this is our season. This is our time. And here at GPC we boil the GC down to two words: CHANGED LIVES

We want every person in this region to experience God! Great things start small. What if God sends great awakenings through the conduit of small pockets of renewal, and these small pockets must then be stewarded by us in order to grow into the mature revival we seek? What if the great revival we cry out for has already been sent to us…but we didn't recognize it because it was in a seed form? But sometimes we miss what God is doing because it starts small. Don't despise the day of small beginnings! We must be careful not to despise a move of God because it doesn't come packaged in a fully mature delivery. Revival is Now! Don't despise it because it's not fully mature! Revival begins with a group recognizing they are in revival, yet craving more. There is a difference between blowing out a flame and fanning a flame. What if we despised the seeds of revival by saying things like: a. “You'll lose your excitement when you hit the real world” b. “Your eventually grow out of this childlike faith” c. “This is weird, unusual” d. “Where do I see that in the Bible?” This mindset prevents it from growing into miraculous event we desire? It squelches revival rather than fans it.
