When I was recording this show with my guest today, he asked me the question: "What do you consider Christian nationalism?" I gave an answer and in his typical way, he didn't necessarily respond to the question. He just wanted to see what I thought Christian nationalism was. To that end, by the time we finished this recording, my definition was nothing compared to what he said. In this episode, we delve into the arguments against Christian nationalism, but not without nuance. My guest, apologist and podcast Cody Libolt, peels back the veil on what this is and how we as Christian should respond. Cody Libolt joins Pastor BJ and Dave Scarborough for a discussion about the life of the mind in the Christian faith. We look at the world of the intellect as a masculine virtue, the role of debate in the faith, and the question of courage in intellectual engagement. Cody, along with his partner Jacob Brunton, runs an organization called For the New Christian Intellectual. Shortened to FTNCI, it is a worldview publication seeking to restore a vision of Jesus Christ as one who is rationally worthy of all admiration and devotion. Our weekly check in with Cody Libolt of ChristianIntellectual.com, broaches our overall topic, how modern culture is failing us and at ever increasing and accelerated rate. Ilhan Omar and her denial. An update on the 7 year old boy who is the subject of a custody battle between his parents, the mother of which wants to change his gender, chemically. The left is still trying to take down President Trump, at any cost to the nation. And finally, how culture is setting couples up for failure.

Our weekly check in with Cody Libolt, from ChristianIntellectual.com, to take on the Christian argument for reparations. Why the Left actually likes and endorses slavery. For being so smart, Neil DeGrasse Tyson sure is an idiot. And how the left does not have the moral high ground to stand on here.

Trump's introduction of a 'social credit system' for the purchase and ownership of guns, makes Walter pretty nervous.

The federal level should take a page from the local one. You may now have ability to sue your sanctuary city. And in closing, elevating victimhood to virtue is a dangerous thing.

**REBROADCAST** Often, the conversation with politics in U. S. is whether a person is liberal or conservative with further distinctions between being far right, far left, moderate and a whole hosts of other sublabels. If one labels themselves as a Democrat or a Republican, depending on the receiving person's POV, you're the enemy, you're misguided, etc. But there is an 'I' in politics. What does that 'I' stand for? According to our guest today, it's important that we identify where we get principles in politics—what is the fundamental principle in a good political system.
