#dailybible #bible #bibleversefortoday #bibleverse Bible Verse for the Day: YOU ARE God's Temple and God's Spirit dwells in YOU! God created you and me with His own hands and in His own image and likeness. God sent His only Son to be His Definite Presence in the world! He was(is) the Temple, NOT built by human hands. Everyone, who has been baptised into Christ, has been made part of this Temple. They are, in themselves, temples of God. God dwells in HIs temple. But why don't we experience His presence within us? “Late have I loved you, beauty so old and so new: late have I loved you. And see, you were within and I was in the external world and sought you there, and in my unlovely state I plunged into those lovely created things which you made. You were with me, and I was not with you. The lovely things kept me far from you, though if they did not have their existence in you, they had no existence at all.” ― St. Augustine of Hippo, Confessions God reveals through St. Paul, "Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple." We are God's temple. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Because you are in Christ, you are part of His Temple. But what does that mean? And what does that have to do with my value and significance in Him? The more we understand this amazing privilege that is ours, the more it will motivate us to love and serve our church family, and to live holy lives.

In today's Gospel we read of Jesus driving out the money-changers and market sellers out of the temple. Fr. Philip Kemmy asks if we have cleaned God's temple within us? And if not, what better time to start than during this current Lenten season. Fr. Philip shows us how to have a good Lent.
