Dr. Mitchell reviews the Pharisees accusing Jesus of being possessed by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons. So, Let's hear Jesus' statement that ‘all sins will be forgiven the sons of men and whatever blasphemies they utter”.Jesus died for you and me, people, sons of men, first of all. He died for people, to take away our sins. And because of His death on the cross, God is able to forgive ALL SINS. That includes yours and mine. Salvation is no longer a matter of the sin, it is a matter of the Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. If you have not yet, will you believe in God's Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. He loves YOU!In doing so, you will have done the will of God. This brings about a new relationship,Here is Dr. Mitchell, Mark 3:29.This is the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast.

Jesus Speaks to Two Empty Lives.
Pergamos and Thyatira—two churches warned by Jesus for compromise and corruption.Pergamos was a church living “where Satan's seat is,” holding fast to Christ's name, yet allowing false doctrine and moral compromise to remain. Thyatira reveals an even deeper danger: tolerated false teaching, spiritual seduction, and the mixing of truth with error. In both cases, Jesus speaks with clarity, authority, and urgency—calling His people to repentance, discernment, and faithfulness. These are Jesus' last recorded words to His churches—practical, personal, and prophetic words that still speak directly to believers and churches today.Scripture: Revelation 2:12–29

What do we do when violence silences a voice and the world feels less safe?In Matthew 4, Jesus begins his public ministry not in a moment of calm, but after John the Baptist is arrested. This sermon reflects on how Jesus responds to injustice and violence, how lament becomes the soil of God's work, and what it means to follow Christ when silence would be unfaithful.Preached in the shadow of real-world violence, this message names grief honestly and holds fast to the hope that when voices are silenced, God still speaks and Jesus still calls people to follow him into the broken places of the world.

Jesus begins his earthy ministry in "Galilee of the Gentiles" Why did he do that. What message was he wanting to send?
Wrapping up the Gospel of Matthew, we are in chapter 28, vss. 16-18.In these verses, we see the post resurrection relationship of Jesus with his disciples. The disciples worshipped the Lord, but as Matthew records, some doubted. In spite of this, Jesus reveals that from now on, all authority has been given to Him, both Authority in heaven and upon earth. His authority was given to Him because of His suffering, death and resurrection for you and me and for the vindication of the righteousness of God His Father. The 11 disciples also obeyed the Lord and met Him at the mountain in Galilee as He instructed them. The Lord now commissions His disciples to make disciples of all nations, not just Jews in Israel. Here is Dr. Mitchell with Matt.28:16-20 on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast.

We are in Matthew 25:14-30, the third parable of Jesus concerning the kingdom of heaven.Once again, we see the question of faithfulness to the Lord. He gives to each one according his own ability. In view of His coming, each one is called to be faithful to the Lord and He will reward each one accordingly. Two of the servants received the same commendation and the same reward and the same joy of the Lord. But the worthless and faithless servant received no commendation or reward or joy.So, Dr. Mitchell gives a short overview of 5 judgments in Scripture before examining this judgment of the sheep and goats. Helping us to grow in faithfulness till the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast, here's Dr. Mitchell, Mt.25:14-30.
As we continue with Jesus' predictions of His coming again to the earth, we are in Matthew 24:45-51. In this passage, Jesus speaks of two kinds of servants doing two different activities with two different results. One is faithful, one is wicked. One is feeding the household, the other is drunken and beating fellow servants. The one is blessed when His Lord returns and rewards him. The other, not looking for his Lord, will be assigned a place with the hypocrites and it's associated anguish.Dr. Mitchell explains this passage not as regards salvation but concerning the character of the Lord's servants. He asks you and me whether we are looking and waiting for our savior. It could be today!Helping us to grow in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast, here's Dr. Mitchell, Matthew 24:45-51.

As we continue in Matthew 23 this lesson begins with verse 29. Here Dr. Mitchell will finish out the last of 8 indictments of the Lord Jesus against the religious rulers of Israel. Dr. Mitchell reminds us that Jesus knew the motives of these leaders which is why He could bring just rebukes and indictments against these rulers. At the end of His speaking, we still see Jesus' willing heart of compassion for His Jerusalem, to gather them together to Himself, but they would not.Dr. Mitchell admonishes the believer not to be the judge of another person's motives.Only Jesus has omniscience to know all things inwardly and outwardly, past, present and future. He only can and will deal the ones who live a hypocritical life in words and deeds.Let's join Dr. Mitchell in Matthew 23:29 on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast.
Our study continues in Matthew 23 vs. 16. where Dr. Mitchell shares Jesus's stern rebukes and indictments on the religious leaders of Israel.Matthew records these words for us to read and hear. This lesson focuses on the next 4 of these 8 indictments in verses 16 thru 28.These four are:1. Swearing an oath: Lack of distinguishing between the greater and the lesser.2. Tithing: majoring on the minors and minoring on the majors.3. Cleansing outwardly to cover up the sins inwardly.4. Stressing the outward appearance but losing sight of the inward sins. This lesson causes one to discover what the real focus is in life, both the known and the unknown. We appreciate your joining us on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast with Dr. John G. Mitchell. Let's turn to Matthew 23:16-28.
After giving a short overview of the previous lesson, Dr. Mitchell shares what Jesus said and Matthew wrote. These were Jesus' verbal judgments on the Pharisees and Scribes. These consist of 8 woeful indictments. Dr. Mitchell will guide us through the first 3 of these indictments. The first concerns not entering the kingdom of God and hindering those who would. The second concerns widows houses and long prayers. The third concerns proselyting to their religion. Jesus still yearns for those who are religious but who do not yet know Jesus as their own personal savior. Are you some one or do you know someone who needs to hear and believe the gospel? Jesus forgives any and every sin. Trust Him! Let's join Dr. Mitchell in Matthew 23 verse 13 on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast.

As Dr. Mitchell has noted, Matthew 21 begins the last week of Jesus' life before He is crucified in Jerusalem. Upon His return to the temple in Jerusalem, Jesus is once again confronted by the chief priests and elders. They wanted to know where Jesus' authority came from. But Jesus asks them a question of what they believed about John the Baptist.Jesus speaks to these leaders in a parable of two sons. One did not do what the father had asked but the other finally did.Dr. Mitchell brings out truth concerning our Savior in view of the dire unbelief of these religious leaders. Then Jesus told a second parable and quotes scripture again. He spoke Psalm 118:22 to the rulers about Himself as 'the stone which the builders rejected'.On the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast, Here is Dr. Mitchell, Matthew 21:33.

Matthew 17 verses 1-8 shows Jesus glorified before His disciples, Peter, James and John. They see and hear Moses and Elijah talking with Him. Dr. Mitchell discussed the doctrine, the test, and the time of the transfiguration. He now shares with us the theme of the transfiguration. In Luke's gospel account, Dr. Mitchell gives us the theme as being the death of the savior found in Luke chapter 9 verse 31. In Jesus' own words from the gospel of John, He says He had power to lay down His life and He had power to take it up again. This was the subject of the conversation between Jesus, Moses and Elijah in glory. Thru faith in Jesus Christ, eternal life is guaranteed. As we have read, Moses and Elijah are still alive with Jesus. Here, in Matthew 17:1-8, is Dr. Mitchell with the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast.
Our study continues in Mat.16:24. Jesus speaks to His disciples about the cost of following Him in the midst of opposition. Dr. Mitchell speaks of this as the great privilege of following Christ. This means putting Him first and ourselves last. Jesus asks, "What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man gives in return for his soul?"Dr. Mitchell states that one cannot put a price on the value of a human soul. God put an eternal value on man's soul. He sent His eternal Son to die for your eternal soul. You are not a piece of trash to be bartered on the open market. Christ died for you dear friend because He esteems you to be of eternal value. Here is Dr. Mitchell with Matthew 16:24.
We're excited to welcome Pastor Luke Eicher from Sturgis, Michigan, as he brings a powerful message centered on the key verse: “But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.” Pastor Luke will reveal how the words of Jesus bring cleansing, healing, peace, and freedom.Come expectant to hear the “Better Word” - a word that carries the power to break addiction, silence anxiety, and set you free from every bondage!
Dr. Mitchell continues his introduction of chapter 13 of the Gospel of Matthew. He begins with the first parable where Jesus speaks of the Sower and the seed found written in verses 3-9. He skips ahead to verses 18-23 for the Lord's own interpretation of this parable. Here we find four different kinds of soil. Each kind of soil responds to the sowing of the seed in a different way. Of the 4 soils only one produces a fruitful crop useful to the one who sowed it.And even then, there are variations, not in the quality, but in the quantity produced. As Dr. Mitchell has often said, The Lord ask us for faithfulness not greatness. God rewards our faithfulness both to Him and to His Word as we grow. Join us on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast with Dr. Mitchell, Matthew 13:3.

We are in Matthew 12 verses 30-37. Jesus speaks of the unpardonable sin. What is it? Can it be committed today by anyone? Dr. Mitchell discusses this Scripture. Here Jesus addresses the Pharisees in very stern language. They were not for Him but were against Him. They were not gathering with Him but were scattering the flock. So Jesus asks them to consider His fruit. What kind of works has He done? He healed people. He cast out demons. He speaks truth. But they would not speak a good word about Jesus, only evil. The fruit of their lips proceeded out of an evil heart, but Jesus's fruit proceeded from a pure heat. The Person of the Lord Jesus as God in the flesh is the one to be reckoned with in each one's heart.Let's turn to Matthew 12:30 with Dr. Mitchell on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast.

Matthew ends the 2nd section of Jesus' teachings in chapter 10. Now in chapters 11 and 12, he next writes his inspired narration of certain events of our Lord's ministry. In chapter 11, Matthew writes about John the Baptist who was now in prison. Here we have Jesus' words to John and Jesus' words about John. Some people remember playing cowboys and indians, or spacemen and aliens as children. In verse 17, Matthew writes of children also playing childhood games. These children played weddings and funerals, but they criticized those who didn't play along. Matthew writes that this is what Jesus compared this generation to. Verses 18-19 show how that generation had a very critical attitude. John the Baptist was criticized for how he did not live, and Jesus was criticized for how he did live, even though both lifestyles were Scriptural! Here is Dr. Mitchell on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast, Matthew 11:1.
Our study in Matthew continues in chapter 10 verses 32-42. In these 10 verses we hear our Lord Jesus continuing to give His twelve disciples instructions. These verses have to do with everyone who acknowledges Christ before people, but doing so brings opposition. Jesus prepares them that this opposition would even come from one's own relatives. Therefore, one's trust and loyalty to Christ would be tested. As Dr. Mitchell says it, Christ must be first in one's affection and devotion. The Apostle Paul writes the same thing in Colossians 1:18, "And He Christ, is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything He may have the preeminence." That is, Christ is to have first place in one's heart.Open your Bible to Matthew 10:32. Here's Dr. Mitchell with the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast.

They are then assured joy will come when they see him again.
