Today we’ll start our road trip off in Vicksburg for Tara Wildlife’s MS River Nature Weekend, then we’ll move to Clinton for their Red Brick Roads Music & Arts Festival. Next we’ll head to Hernando for the 9th Annual City Wide Scavenger Hunt and end the show with blues guitarist Jarekus Singleton, so don’t go far because we’re going for a ride here on Next Stop MS! In this hour of The Roadhouse, it's all blues, but in some cases it's branched off a bit into blues rock and R&B. Mahalia Barnes + The Soul Mates, Ben Harper & Charlie Musselwhite, Bettye LaVette, Jarekus Singleton, and Eden Brent help make up the hour. We'll just go out exploring and see what we come back with. I'm pretty sure, though, that what we'll come back with is another hour of the finest blues you've never heard - the 692nd Roadhouse.

I've got a full hour ahead, with a next generation set and a set of gospel blues centered around The Staples. It's all mixed in with a bigger variety of blues. Jeremiah Johnson Band, Gary Clark, Jr, Jarekus Singleton, Mavis Staples, and The Nick Schnebelen Band all contribute to what I think will be another fun hour of blues variety, and certainly another fun hour of the finest blues you've never heard - the 594th Roadhouse.
