A solo episode for this month's Mario's Minute covering comments, cleaner, and a massive digitizing project! First I talk about being noticed for Jet Moto 2 of all things, followed by a rant about staying far away from MX Cleaner due to the massive stink it generates. Industrial style soldering irons are discussed at length, to determine whether or not these are really needed for many console mods out there? Finally, I also talk about my ups and downs completing a multi-year long VHS digitizing project I wanted to tackle.

Kelly passed away almost a year ago.He was a giant in the world of game execs who started in the warehouse at EA and by the end had run 989 Studios, Sony Online, THQ, LucasArts, and more. Without him there is no Twisted Metal 2, no Jet Moto, no TM:Black (along with so many other games). In this interview- part of a TM1 WATCH PARTY SPECIAL I did about 2 years ago- Kelly and I talked about why the Twisted Metal movies were cut (I finally got the TRUE reason after all these years), how Jet Moto almost bombed, the way SingleTrac tried to blackmail Sony into giving up the Twisted Metal license and SO MUCH MORE. I miss ya Kelly- thanks for everything, pal! :) JAFFE
For a hot minute, jet ski racing was all the rage in 1996. Jet Moto on the PlayStation and Wave Race 64 on the N64 released merely a day apart. Although they looked very similar on their shimmering, translucent surface, they handled, looked and sounded very differently in practice. In this episode we're joined once again by Jayson Lamp to help us compare and contrast these two beloved water-based racers. Follow Jayson on Twitter @Kusanagi765, and check out megavisionsmag.com. E3 began way back in 1995, and each and every year since, Sony has shown up with its PlayStation brand, often in a major way. But in 2019, that all changes. Sony has announced that it won't be at E3. At all. No press conference. No show floor offerings. Nada. This is a huge deal, and it gives us an enormous amount to chat about. Plus: PlayStation 4 turns five, Square Enix is toiling away on a PS5 title, THQ Nordic has an astounding 55 games in development, and much more. Listeners also chime in with questions about dormant franchises like Jet Moto and Parasite Eve, and one fan inquires about our respective audio setups, too. So let's get going, shall we? After an unplanned 3 week hiatus (life gets in the way sometimes!) the guys are back! Earl and Jurek hop on their virtual hover bikes and play Jet Moto 2 for the Playstation 1! Boy oh boy, where to even start? This game is... not great. It's hard to control and there is texture EVERYWHERE! Despite all that, the guys manage to have some fun playing it! Come have a drink with us! Cheers!

On this episode of the AYG podcast, Jon Berghoff outlines 5 factors for expanding your personal potential! At the beginning of the show, Jon looks back and smiles about his early days living with Hal. When they weren’t pulling pranks and playing Jet Moto, they were challenging each other’s ability to succeed. It was no coincidence that out of thousands of of sales reps, two people who lived in the same apartment became #1 and #2 for their company. The powerful and positive behaviors that were established were a direct result of living together in the same environment. Jon’s stories ultimately lead to a challenge for you to take a look at your own environment. Not just in the sense of how being around others can affect your behavior, but also how your physical environment can affect your spiritual energy. What’s distracting you or causing you to lose focus? What’s cluttering up your life? What subtle adjustments can you make to your physical environment that will allow you to be more in control of each and every day? Jon goes on to share the additional factors he’s learned from Hal and many other thought leaders on how to reinvent and re-wire your personal potential. He talks about improving your well being through movement and nutrition, using the concept of the Hero’s Journey to gain perspective, and the benefits of having a formal meditation practice. The factors outlined in today’s episode are just a handful of the things that can take your potential to the next level. And the best part… you can start taking action on all of them today! KEY TAKEAWAYS [06:30] Find out how your environment can impact your behavior. [10:30] Why you don’t want to become a Jack of all trades, master of none. [12:40] The power of physical environment and understanding the spiritual energy that comes from clutter. [15:04] Improving your physical well being through movement and nutrition. [23:54] How to use the concept of The Hero’s Journey to pursue your call to adventure, overcome obstacles, and transform your life for the better. [34:25] Discover the 3 attention skills you can develop by having a formal meditation practice. [43:00] Jon gives you today’s 5th and final factor, but decides to save the bulk of this topic for a future episode :) AYG TWEETABLE ''How often do our behaviors change because of who we’re around?'' - Jon Berghoff EPISODE RESOURCES Quantum Leap Mastermind The Ultimate Selling Machine The Art of Epic Wellness Podcast Quantum Leap Mastermind The Hero’s Journey Finding Joe Seasons of Life Unified Mindfulness CONNECT WITH HAL Facebook Twitter Achieve Your Goals Podcast on iTunes RATE & REVIEW THE PODCAST Reviews for the podcast on iTunes are greatly appreciated and will allow us to get the word out about the show and grow as a community.
