Missouri DE Charles Harris took time out of his preparation for the 2017 NFL Draft to talk with Connor Livesay. Missouri has been an edge-rusher production line over the last few years. Shane Ray, Michael Same, Kony Ealy and in 2017 we are looking at Charles Harris. 6'3", 253 lbs with a 4.82 40 yard dash Charles Harris athletic ability shined at the NFL Combine where his quick first step and lateral quickness jumped out in drills putting an exclamation point on his excellent game tape. Coming off 56 tackles, 18.5 for loss and seven sacks it's safe to say he's caught NFL talent evaluator's attention. Unlike in kindergarten, being disruptive in the backfield is a good thing. Able to play in a two-gap scheme it's predicted Charles will excel in a one-gap where his natural ability to be disruptive will be accentuated. Just over a month after the New England Patriots' incredible comeback win in Super Bowl LI, you would think Bill Belichick LOST a 25-point lead by the way he's been attacking free agency. The Patriots hit the ground running on Wednesday by making a trade for tight end Dwayne Allen, followed it up by signing Pro Bowl cornerback Stephon Gilmore and then continued the big moves by making trades for wide receiver Brandin Cooks and defensive end Kony Ealy. And it appears the team isn't done, as they are still trying to work out a deal with free agent linebacker Dont'a Hightower.
