You can research and consider guys all you want, but sometimes there are just some wild cards that don't quite make sense. How is Derrick Henry such an outlier in how he attains success? Did Ezekiel Elliott actually lose a step last year or was his slump completely situational? How good is Jonathan Taylor? Can we trust Cam Akers' small sample of success? How does A.J. Brown stack up with the other elite WRs? What's Kenny Golladay's outlook with a major downgrade at QB? Is Odell Beckham Jr. washed? After dealing with the likes of Gardner Minshew, Mike Glennon, and Jake Luton, is D.J. Chark a breakout candidate? Is JuJu Smith-Schuster anything more than a boring slot weapon with other mouths to feed and a questionable QB? Check out this week's Field of Vision Podcast for Jordan's and Chris' takes on these conundrums and some fantasy philosophy! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Vikings vs Jaguars… Good morning Horners! Good Morning Gjallarhon goes live for the first time with the pregame show. Your Minnesota Vikings will be hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars and hoping to get that when that’ll take them to an even .500 record. What do you make of this game? Can you trust this team? On paper, comparing the numbers as Drew does so well, this should be a substantial Vikings victory. However, that has us all apprehensive, does it you? The Vikings home record this season has not been good at all. The team has seemed to come out flat too many times instead of being motivated. The lack of fans has a lot to do with that, but this also comes down to coaches preparing the team not just with scheme and a game plan, but there mental attitude and preparedness. Dalvin Cook has been getting a heavy workload lately as we all know. Is this the game to give him arrest and let Alexander Mattison take over the duties? [We found out Saturday that Mattison had an emergency appendectomy and will not be playing. We hope he gets well soon.] or Mike Boone? With the Jaguars defense being so poorly rated, can Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson had a big day from Kirk Cousins? This game looks ripe for the picking in both aspects of running and throwing the ball, but especially that passing game. The Vikings defense will have a tougher test however when they face James Robinson, the young running back that’s third in the league presently. Will the run defense hold. If it does, can Mike Glennon make them pay with shots to DJ Chark or Laiska Shenault? We will have to wait and see. So join us for first pregame show of the weekend, and then catch GMG In The Raw, the reaction show live 15 minutes after the game. #LetsGetLive Like, subscribe, and rate us on your favorite podcast aggregator. Our crew is back with a super-sized episode where we preview every single Week 12 matchup and provide DFS advice for the Thanksgiving slate! We kick off the show by dissecting the latest news, including the Ravens' COVID situation and how it affects their backfield (3:28). Next, our trio hits the matchups (11:33)! The guys debate Todd Gurley's (28:46) viability and rave about why Wayne Gallman (41:37) should be deployed with confidence as an RB2. Should Tua Tagovailoa's struggles scare you away from playing DeVante Parker (1:02:12), or is a date with the Jets merely too good to pass up? Also, is Duke Johnson (1:29:40) a surefire RB2 and cash game play considering his easy matchup against the Lions, or is just impossible to trust him at this point? Thanksgiving Week is here, and with it comes not only a full plate of food, but a full slate of NFL games. With all 32 teams in action, start/sit decisions could be a bit more taxing than they've been with fewer options in play. Michael Beller, Jake Ciely and Brandon Funston are here to help you make the right ones on this episode of The Athletic Fantasy Football Podcast. Can you trust Carson Wentz against the Seahawks? How much does the loss of Joe Burrow hurt Giovani Bernard, Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins? Does Raheem Mostert go right back into your lineup if the 49ers activate him? Is D.J. Chark still startable with Mike Glennon getting the start for the Jaguars? The guys answer those questions, plus a whole lot more, and offer up some big predictions for Week 12.
