We have learned to become comfortable. We drive the same drive to work, enjoy the same seat at church and have no desire to expect more of life. Pastor Jack Serr shows us what happen when we go a little father. When we step out of our comfort zone and let God meet us in the discomfort.
With the Scripture reading on the Garden of Gethsemane we see that Jesus more than all we've ever known went a little farther. We too in our own way need to go a little father in our witnessing, our loving, our giving and our teaching for the glory of Jesus. This audio message was from the broadcast shown that morning on local TV from Two River Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee.
If you'll like to know more our ministry please visit our Facebook page at @sjmbckingsland or our Instagram #sjmbckingsland. You also can watch Pastor Robinson live on ever Sunday at 11 on Facebook Live. Thanks and Be Blessed.
The scripture says that when Jesus was in the garden the night before His death that “He went a little farther.” What if we went a little farther in certain areas of our lives?

For years my mother faithfully subscribed to the homemaker's Better Homes and Gardens magazine. I used to look forward to turning to the last page of each issue to read a column that Bill Vaughan wrote under the penname Burton Hillis. His witty observations of everyday life touched a warm spot in the hearts of his readers.

Matthew 26:39, Jesus is overwhelmed with sorrow as his crucifixon is impending. Yet, he continued in prayer...he went "a little farther" alone while his disciples slept. Like Jesus, we must go beyond our feelings and submit to the will of God.
