At CDMO Live 2025, a panel sponsored by Aizon explored how pharma companies are transforming external manufacturing operations through digital integration, with experts from sharing practical approaches to implementation. The Digital Divide: Big Pharma vs Mid-Size PlayersThe panellists painted a stark contrast in digital maturity across the pharmaceutical manufacturing landscape. Dave O'Gara, pharmaceutical business consultant at Aizon with over 30 years experience at Novartis, outlined the current state of play."When you move into pharma and segregate into big pharma, they have digital strategies... When you move into the mid-range CDMOs and smaller CMOs, it's not so active," O'Gara explained, highlighting what he termed a "massive opportunity" for mid-size players.Franziskus Kath, founder of Kath-Consulting and former VP of Emerging Technology for QA at Johnson & Johnson, confirmed this assessment: "The larger the companies, the more digital is already there... Most of them have been for the past eight to 10 years really tackling the topic."From the CDMO perspective, Vishnu Dwadasi, Director of Life Sciences at West Monroe, described significant implementation challenges: "A lot of these companies are still very manual, so they have to move from paper to digital and then digital to eventually leveraging analytics and AI."Download the full report

In this episode of Discover Lafayette, we welcome Jude David, Executive Chairman of Stately Doors & Windows, to discuss the company's role in delivering ultra-luxury doors and windows for high-end residential and commercial projects. His company does approximately $100 million dollars in sales each year to homes built for business owners, celebrities, and others who can afford to build no matter what the market experiences. Clients have included Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, Jerry Seinfeld, Alec Baldwin, Tony Romo, Diddy, and Calvin Klein. A Leader in Bespoke Doors and Windows With nine locations across the U.S., Stately Doors & Windows has established itself as a premier provider of custom, high-quality designs using exotic hardwoods, Swiss steel, and state-of-the-art glass. The company collaborates with top-tier designers and architects, offering one-of-a-kind solutions tailored to their clients' visionary needs. Stately Doors & Windows is headquartered at 315 S. College Drive in Lafayette, less than a mile from Jude David's home. Pushing the Boundaries of Design and Automation Stately specializes in cutting-edge bespoke innovations, including: Disappearing doors and windows that retract seamlessly into the floor or basement, allowing for uninterrupted indoor-outdoor living. Fully automated doors and windows, eliminating the need for manual operation. Custom shapes and sizes, ensuring that no design challenge is too complex, even offering bespoke door options for the owners' pets. Long-Term Planning and Project Management Jude highlights how Stately works with architects years in advance, often three to four years before construction begins. Unlike many competitors that simply sell products, Stately provides comprehensive project management, from design conception to on-site installation, ensuring a seamless experience. Expanding into Commercial Luxury Spaces Although bespoke doors and windows are rare in commercial projects, Stately has found a niche in high-end hotels, including: La Fonda Resort in New Mexico L'Auberge Bishops Lodge Resort For the people able to pay for these high-end resort prices, it is worth every penny. Very few lodging options offer the luxurious spaces designed by Stately Door & Windows. Additionally, the company operates a high-velocity door manufacturing facility in Las Vegas, producing 2,200 doors per week, and a millwork shop in West Monroe, specializing in moldings, corbels, and luxury finishes for hotel lobbies and upscale spaces. Resilience in Market Fluctuations Despite high interest rates, Stately continues to thrive. Their affluent clientele remain committed to their projects regardless of economic conditions, making their business model highly resilient in both up and down markets. The Artisans Behind the Craft Stately Doors & Windows is built upon skilled artisans who treat their work as an art form rather than just a manufacturing process. Jude acknowledges the difficulty in finding such talent and emphasizes the importance of growing artisans from a young age. The company actively recruits from high schools and trade shows, offering apprenticeship opportunities that lead to lifelong careers in millwork and craftsmanship. Alternative Career Paths and Workforce Development Jude believes that success is not limited to a college degree. He encourages individuals to focus on creating value for their employers, stating that career growth and financial success come from hard work and innovation rather than just formal education. Entrepreneurial Spirit and Leadership Jude shares his entrepreneurial journey, reflecting on his natural inclination toward leadership and growth. He thrives on taking calculated risks, expanding the business through strategic acquisitions, and constantly seeking new challenges. While he acknowledges the importance of teamwork, he admits to being most effective when in charge,

The business is rooted in faith and aims to equip women with physical, mental, and spiritual training. In this conversation, Jo and Tay from Tribe31 discuss the importance of body positivity and self-acceptance. They emphasize the need to focus on overall health and well-being rather than striving for a specific body type. They also highlight the impact of language and behavior on children, emphasizing the importance of setting a positive example. The conversation touches on the role of community and support in achieving fitness goals and the importance of finding balance in life. Tay and Jo also mention their upcoming nutrition program, Macros and More. Bios: Taylor Jopling is a personal trainer and co-owner of Tribe 31 Training. She attended ULM for 3 years and then found her passion for personal training after helping her college friends in the gym. After finding her passion for women's personal training and nutrition coaching, she never looked back! Taylor has been training full-time for 6 years now. Taylor is married to her husband, Johnny, and a mom to her son, Shep. Taylor and her business partner, Jo Ellen Gilliland, have created a positive space for women to achieve their goals in a group setting. Their mission is to equip women with strength in all seasons of life through physical, mental, and spiritual training. They provide coaching, consistency, & community to women of all ages which has led to more confident & empowered women. Taylor believes every woman is on a journey, whether it's in the gym, at work, with family, or pursuing dreams. Just like training requires discipline, achieving goals in life takes dedication. She wants to help women bring the gym mentality into their everyday lives, helping them unleash their inner strength and resilience. Jo Ellen Gilliland is from West Monroe, LA where she resides with her two rescue pups Maggie and Zo. She is a former first grade teacher of 8 years at Drew Elementary. With a background in fitness it was a natural fit to switch roles to trainer and has been training full time for 14 years. She is currently co owner of Tribe31 Training, an all women's gym that focuses on equipping women with strength in all seasons of life through physical, mental, and spiritual training. She believes that all women are training for something in and out of the gym. It might be education, career, family, or a dream. Just like physical training requires discipline, strength, and sacrifice so does accomplishing those goals. She seeks to help women bring that same mindset from the gym into their everyday life so they can embrace their own Wonder Woman. Instagram:  @tribe31training

From the beginning, Bryan found himself in the deep waters of life: from gangs, drugs and dead-end jobs, all stemming from tragedy in his youth. In this episode, Jason interviews former DUCK DYNASTY cast member Bryan Rucker, as he shares his journey from a drug runner and convicted murderer to a public speaker and follower of Jesus, where he now serves to see the lives of others transformed. One of Rucker's earliest, life-shaping events, what he referred to as “trauma points,” was witnessing a man get shot outside his apartment at nine years old. Bryan got caught up in that culture, began dealing drugs and got involved in gangs, leading to his arrest for armed robbery. After serving two-and-a-half years in juvenile detention, he sold drugs again, making $60,000 a month.Rucker was eventually convicted of a gang-related shooting and faced a lifetime sentence for second-degree murder. “That was one of those moments in my life I didn't realize was going to be a turning point.” Once he had his son, Bryan was prompted to end his association with gangs and drug dealing, but it wasn't until he moved to West Monroe, Louisiana, to take care of his grandmother that the former atheist started to see God move in his life, as God opened a door for a position at the Duck Commander warehouse, known for DUCK DYNASTY fame.Watch Story Filmed by I Am Second: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyBDzpxTzi8Follow Bryan:https://www.instagram.com/bryanrucker52/ Foundations of Masculinity Small Groups: https://www.smallgroups.braveco.org/Foundations of Masculinity For Your Church: https://www.church.braveco.org/Jason's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jayvallotton/CONNECT WITH BRAVECOWebsite: https://www.braveco.org/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/braveco.menInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/braveco.men/Shop: https://shop.braveco.org/ABOUT BRAVECOWe live in a time where men are hunting for the truth and looking for the codebook to manhood. Godwin and John-David are excited for an adorable fan's Buc-ee's themed birthday party. Si challenges us all to get "united" back in the United States! John-David shows some interesting taxidermy and Si shocks the room with a story of his favorite dog memory which immediately takes a left turn and the boys try to lighten the mood with their favorite dog stories instead. And did Si and Phil's childhood dog ACTUALLY know how to talk? Because that's what Si's mama claimed. https://rocketmoney.com/duck — Cancel unwanted subscriptions with Rocket Money.
