Glory's back on the podcast sitting in the co-host chair and she is ready to read all of our astrologies as an unofficial astrologist. Glory saw 'Hustlers' and she has notes- and isn't sure why it's getting Oscar buzz. The Emmy's happened and Billy Porter is inspiring us all: the category is Love! Michelle Williams is showing what it means to be an ally! Keke Palmer lives in a blissful world where she has no idea who Dick Cheney is. Glory got digitally flashed on the subway! In some gay news: Is Mayor Pete Gay enough? What does that even mean? Do people still need to come out as HIV+? Oakland's Gay men's chorus office was vandalized. James is still writing the history wave with random/weird LGBT Facts: what was the oldest gay chat line? We revisit the Sacred Band of Thebes, a group of 300 men who fought, loved, and fucked each other. What does the ancient Chinese saying 'cut of the sleeve' mean? Glory, our resident astrologist lets us know that it's Libra Season and what we can expect. Water signs it's going to be a bumpy season- so find the balance!    LINKS:  Weird LGBTQ History Facts - https://bit.ly/2lG6uZU  Jonathan Van Ness - https://bit.ly/2nMlIgt  Emmy's- https://bit.ly/2m8cx9c  Oakland's Gay Men Chorus was Vandalized- https://bit.ly/2ne0GHe  Digital Flashers - https://bit.ly/2m8inrR

Three popular Canadian Country artists join me on this episode of In The Country to talk about their music careers and share their latest radio singles. Music has always been an undeniable passion for Cobourg, Ontario's MATT WILLIAMS for as long as he can remember. “I remember from a very early age singing in the stands at baseball games with my mother”. Years later it was a Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers concert that influenced him to pursue a career in music. “As soon as the lights went down I was hooked.” Matt's latest single is called Make Love Tonight and features Peterborough Country artist Alyssa Morrissey. Mississauga, Ontario's KAITLIN KOZELL was one of the top eight finalists in the Emerging Artist Showcase at the 2014 Boots & Hearts music festival. Since being added to the roster of Leafs anthem singers in the late fall of 2011 and performing at her first game in January of 2012, Kaitlin has had the opportunity to perform at numerous Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Marlies, and other MLSE events and functions. Kaitlin's new single is called Heart Of This Home.  TEAGAN LITTLECHIEF is a country artist from the White Bear First Nations north of Carlyle, Saskatchewan. At the age of 4 her play school teacher overheard her singing Part Of Your World from Little Mermaid and encouraged her mother Sara to put her in vocal lessons. Those lessons were the beginning of a lifetime filled with the love of music, which her mother Sara has stood behind and supported every step of the way. Radio was first introduced to Teagan in 2009 with her album entitled Rising Above. Teagan's latest single is called I'll Bring The Party.

Award Winning Vocalist Alyssa Morrissey joins the Ladies of the Diner as she celebrates her newly released single with ArtSees Diner Radio favorite Matt Williams. Make Love Tonight is rapidly gaining listeners/downloands. Alyssa Morrissey hails from Peterborough, Ontario. Discovered by songwriter, Cyril Rawson (Reba McEntire, Gretchen Wilson, Lorrie Morgan) Alyssa's first CD, Let's Not Call It Love received international airplay and charted in her home country. Her 2nd release, Way To Go was released in 2013. Alyssa is a two-time 2014 Wire Awards nominee, and a 2014 Winner!Alyssa went from singing on boxes at age 3, to winning several singing contests and had her first professional performance at age 12. “Some of my icons are Shania Twain and Jennifer Nettles, for their personalities on stage and their ‘feel’ for a song. Taylor Swift is my personality idol! I think she is such a cleaver and creative person! I think country music is amazing. Everything about it is so real, whether it’s the music or the people singing it. It just feels like home to me, and I love being apart of it.” Matt Williams and Alyssa Morrissey are brought to us by Mike Stover of MTS Management Group.
