North Carolina Ag Commissioner Steve Troxler says they're getting a clearer picture of the damage to the state's ag industry from summer drought and fall flooding, and shoppers were buying more eggs to bake Christmas treats at the same time U.S. wholesale egg prices were up 150%.

In today's show we are going to explain what family formation law is. As a fertility patient, it's important that you understand some of the basic legal pieces that you might want to have in place for your journey, whether that be for IVF, or if you're going to be using donor eggs, donor sperm, or using a gestational carrier. I very much love Amanda's thoughtful and caring approach to making family formation law approachable. Up to 15% of couples have trouble conceiving, and that number continues to increase each year. As a result, many couples are turning to alternative methods in hopes of growing their families. Millions of couples are seeing success via egg donation, sperm donation, embryo donation, and surrogacy. With these third-party methods, there could be some cause for legal concerns. That's why we were so happy to chat with Amanda Troxler, founder of Troxlaw in Los Angeles. Amanda has been practicing family formation law since 2013. She represents hundreds of Intended Parents, Donors, and Surrogates a year. "DJs don't hit their stride until their 40s." The DJ and creative multihyphenate discusses maturing as an artist, having a family and navigating the worlds of contemporary art and cuisine. Resident Advisor has followed Detroit native Seth Troxler's DJ career since the beginning. And on his first appearance on the RA Exchange, he is in his domestic bliss phase, living with his wife and kids in his new home of Zürich and partying at least a little less—and only on the weekends. Since taking the house and techno scene by storm in the late '00s, when he was still in his teens, Troxler has become one of the most famous DJs in the world, known almost as much for his jokester personality and party antics as his craft. But the public image belies the skill behind his work: he's one of the most popular artists in the world simply because he's also one of the best, able to string music together almost preternaturally, as if he was born to do it. You never know what kind of records he's going to play—sometimes he doesn't, either—but you can count on it being a journey worth taking. These days, Troxler isn't putting himself through the wringer like he used to, but he has his moments. Before this interview with RA music critic Andrew Ryce, he played New York, then Miami, then New York again, then Toronto, all in the span of one weekend. He opened up about his more responsible lifestyle, his family life and his love of food, as well as his passion for pairing art and technology and his hopes for a lasting legacy.

On Thursday, November 7th, 2019 the Hermetic Hour with host Poke Runyon will present a discussion on the scientific technology behind modern ceremonial magick and reveal for the first time a device he developed in the early 1970s for training students to make use of the "Troxler Effect" (facial reflection-distortion in a dark mirror; the "Bloody Mary" effect) for Magical spirit evocation. This device called "The Zero Lite" was based on U.S. Army battlefield research and it is so sensitive to human will power that it can respond to non-verbal telepathic commands in group practice. We stopped using it in the late 1970s but in recent years we have encountered students who subconsciously override the Troxler effect in the mirror, even when they consciously want it work for them, and so we are going back to Zero Lite training for Second Degree candidates. And so, if your spirit doesn't want to show up for you, then listen in and we'll tell you how to solve the problem.

The Vicars' Crossing is excited to WELCOME Susie and Tony Troxler. Tony and Susie Troxler met in Greensboro, NC and married in March 2008. They'd planned to start a family a few years into their marriage, but it never happened: A few years turned into more than a decade and still no child. Believing in the faithfulness of God, they both continued to hold onto the promise that they would one day have a family. And on September 29, 2021, at the ages of 61 and 50, the couple gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Lily. This podcast was recorded on March 31st, 2022.
Have you ever stood in a dark bathroom and chanted “Bloody Mary” in the mirror, waiting for a demonic girl to appear behind you? If not, what the heck did you do at sleep overs? As promised, this week the girls cover something a touch lighter than real life vampire/cannibal/killers, and dive into the legend of Bloody Mary. Find out how young girls used to find their future husbands (or demons that would kill them), who might be hanging out in the bathroom with Moaning Myrtle, and why we should all just let people worship the way they want to and not burn them at the stake.Pour a nice beverage, take a deep breath, and settle in for a spooky story that won't make you want to cut your ears off. Dance music legend, Tuskegee Music label owner and party-loving iconoclast–Seth Troxler was known for his hectic lifestyle and unique sense of humour, including sensational interviews, bizarre press photos, and exuberant performances. But last year, the Detroit native went through some significant life changes. Whilst starting a family, he shifted his focus towards building his legacy, as well as protecting and preserving the culture and heritage of house music. In this episode, Troxler discusses the serendipitous happenings that led to big transformations in his life, his long relationship with CircoLoco and Ibiza, and his latest venture Dream Access Television: a live-streaming show inspired by old-school public access TV channels in North America.
Casey and Kait talk about Bethabara during the Regulator Movement, a period of intense political conflict in pre-revolutionary North Carolina. Though the Moravians attempted to keep the peace, Bethabara became a major center of activity for the movement. The “Regulators” organized to regulate corruption in government, which seemed to be steadily increasing in mid-1760s North Carolina. This grassroots reform movement began with debates over land, taxes, and representation, and evolved into a rebellion with the Regulators meeting the Governor in open battle in 1771. The Regulator movement gained a widespread following in the western backcountry, and so the Moravians in Wachovia got caught up in the conflict despite their best efforts to stay out of it. In this episode we'll cover the visits of Regulators to Bethabara, the Moravians' opinion of the Regulators, the Moravians' relationship with Governor William Tryon, the collapse of the movement after the Battle of Alamance, and the encampment of Tryon's militia forces at Bethabara. Oh Sydney, my Sydney! A few years back, the lovely Sydney Troxler and I performed in 2 full summer seasons together at The Little Theatre on the Square. I'm so grateful that we always shared a dressing room and became very close. She's actually our first guest on the podcast to talk about performing on Cruise Ships and in this episode she opens up about body image, weigh-ins and what it means to be a woman in this business. Very honestly, we've both really struggled with "not looking right" and I know that so many other people have as well. When it comes down to it: Just Be Yourself. Don't let anyone tell you who you "have" to be or what you "have" to look like in order to be a successful artist. Thank you so much for listening and for supporting the podcast!
Allí estaban Juan Torres, Carlos Lizaso, Nicolás Carranza, Francisco Garibotti, Vicente Rodríguez, Mario Brión, Horacio Di Chiano, Norberto Gavino, Rogelio Díaz y Juan Carlos Livraga, quien sólo había ido a escuchar la pelea. From immigration to water quality and a host of regulatory issues, members of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) deal with a broad portfolio of issues every day. Steve Troxler is the North Carolina Commissioner of Agriculture and the current president of NASDA. In this week's Open Mic, Troxler is very optimistic that farmers and agribusinesses will do what's right for the environment and the consumer, but he is a little less sure of what Congress will be able to achieve at the federal level.Steve Troxler
