The battles you're facing have a divine expiration date. Every struggle, every heartbreak, every battle, and every moment of obedience carries eternal weight. The pressure of this world was never meant to define your future. You were created to finish your race with faith, passion, and your eyes fixed on eternity. Heaven is real, Jesus is still changing lives, and God is still calling you into purpose, healing, and revival. You were not created just to survive life. There's still hope. There's still healing. And there's still purpose waiting for you. Hey there, Welcome to Living Word! We're so glad you're here with us. Today, one of our senior pastors, Angie Campbell, concludes our Jesus Revealed series as she speaks on the “I am” statement: “I am the true vine.”
In this message from Matthew 14, Pastor Karl explores two seemingly separate events — the beheading of John the Baptist and the feeding of the five thousand — and reveals how they are deeply connected as a portrait of two contrasting kingdoms.Drawing on the parallel between Herod's banquet and Jesus's meal in the wilderness, Pastor Karl shows what sets the kingdom of the world apart from the kingdom of God: one ends in death, self-service, and corruption; the other in life, compassion, and abundance. Through the stories of Elijah, Elisha, and Moses, he demonstrates that the disciples had all the history they needed to trust Jesus in the moment — and yet, like us, they forgot. At the heart of this teaching is a simple but powerful truth: you are insufficient, but you are not useless. The kingdom of God doesn't have a supply problem — it has a distribution problem. God has never asked how much you have. He only asks what you have — and what you place in his hands, he multiplies.Discipleship, Pastor Karl argues, always involves cost, courage, compassion, commands, and cooperation. The good news is that the Good Shepherd is more than sufficient for all his sheep.Watch all our sermons on our youtube channel "Flipside Christian Church"Join us in person 8:00am, 9:30am & 11:00am every Sunday morning.37193 Ave 12 #3h, Madera, CA 93636For more visit us at flipside.churchFor more podcasts visit flipsidepodcasts.transistor.fm

Motherhood carries a lot more than people see. The pressure, the emotions, the constant responsibility, trying to stay strong for everyone else while quietly fighting your own battles at the same time. Some seasons are beautiful, and some are just hard. Whether you're raising kids, missing someone you love, walking through tension in your family, or just feeling worn out emotionally, there's still peace available for you, even in the middle of chaos. Peace is not the absence of chaos. It's the ability to stand firm while everything around you is shaking. Hey there, Welcome to Living Word! We're so glad you're here with us. This weekend with Dr. Leif Hetland wasn't just a message, it was an invitation into a new way of living. He began with a powerful picture of childlike faith, the kind that trusts completely, like a child jumping into a father's arms. No fear. No hesitation. Just trust. And from that place, he led us into the heart of his message:The Heart of Roaring Lambs. We're called to be bold. To carry authority. To walk in power. But Dr. Hetland reminded us that true authority doesn't come from striving—it flows from love. You can have power without love… but you can't have authority without it. He painted a compelling picture: Jesus is both Lion and Lamb, yet in the book of Revelation, He's revealed far more as the Lamb. Why? Because it's the heart of the Lamb which is humility, tenderness, surrender, and that gives weight to the roar.Without that heart, our voice pushes people away. With it, people are drawn in. And that's the invitation for all of us, to become roaring lambs. To be bold like a lion, but rooted in the love of Jesus, because at the end of the day, what you behold is what you become… and what you become is what you release. In a world filled with fear and darkness, we don't shrink back because we're in the light business. And perfect love still casts out fear. There's so much more in this message: powerful stories of lives transformed, identities restored, and a fresh call to live as sons and daughters, not orphans. Our Links–• Join The Prayer Movement!: https://theprayermovement.com• Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/livingwordmn• Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/livingwordmn• Stay up to date with all things LWCC at https://www.LWCC.org• Join our Online Church community here: https://www.lwcc.org/onlinechurch• Give online: https://www.lwcc.org/give/• If you recently committed your life to God, we'd like to give you a free eBook to help you in your spiritual journey. What if the headlines we're seeing today… were written about thousands of years ago? This Sunday, Pastor Jim took us deep into Scripture and current events to reveal a powerful truth: God's Word isn't guessing… it's guiding. From the rise of global conflict to the growing focus on Israel, he unpacked how biblical prophecy may be unfolding right before our eyes. What stood out most? The Bible doesn't just speak spiritually, it speaks specifically.Events happening today may align with prophecies written over 2,600 years ago.And through it all, one message remains clear: pay attention and be ready. But this wasn't about fear, it was about urgency, awareness, and hope.Because in the middle of it all, Pastor Jim reminded us:God is still in control. You still have a choice. And the time to draw close to Him is now. There's so much more you need to hear (including some eye-opening connections you won't want to miss.) Today we chat with Kengoro Goto, Old Testament scholar and leader of the online Japanese Christian community 'Lights Church', which can be accessed here: https://lights-church.com/en/home-2/
Pastor Jim unpacked a powerful truth from Romans 9: God is not unjust and His grace is not random. He challenged some common misconceptions about faith, reminding us: You're not predestined for failure or salvation, that you have a choice. God's mercy isn't earned, but it is received through humility and faith. And most importantly, salvation isn't about what you've done, it's about what Jesus has already finished. When Jesus said, “It is finished,” it wasn't just words; it meant victory won and your debt was paid in full. That changes everything. You're not trying to earn God's approval; you're responding to it. You're not fighting for victory; you're living for it.Our Links–• Join The Prayer Movement!: https://theprayermovement.com• Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/livingwordmn• Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/livingwordmn• Stay up to date with all things LWCC at https://www.LWCC.org• Join our Online Church community here: https://www.lwcc.org/onlinechurch• Give online: https://www.lwcc.org/give/• If you recently committed your life to God, we'd like to give you a free eBook to help you in your spiritual journey. This Easter, Pastor Mac asked a powerful question: What are we really celebrating? It's more than tradition it's transformation. The crucifixion reminds us Jesus paid the full price for our past, present, and future. The resurrection is the victory of life over death, in every area of our lives. That means no situation is too far gone.Resurrection power is still available today. But here's the key, it is activated by belief. God already sees you as healed, free, and whole. Faith is the bridge between what He's done and what you experience. So, when life pushes back, you fight to believe. You stay consistent. You don't quit. Because even if you fall, you can rise again. This Easter, don't just celebrate what Jesus did, step into what it means for you. Resurrection power is real. It's available. And it's working in you, if you believe. This weekend, Pastor Mac continued the Vision Mandate series by emphasizing that vision is essential to a believer's life and purpose. Drawing from the book of Proverbs 29:18, he reminded us that “Where there is no vision, the people perish,” explaining that the most dangerous place a person can live is in the comfort of the status quo, where growth stops and stagnation begins. True vision comes first from God's Word and then through the revelation of the Holy Spirit, giving clarity and direction for our lives.Pastor Mac also taught that the key to fulfilling that vision is stewardship, faithfully managing the resources God has entrusted to us, including our time, talents, and finances. Using examples from the book of Luke 16 and the Gospel of Matthew 25, he explained that faithfulness in what God gives us produces increase and positions us to hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Practical stewardship begins with honoring God through the tithe and continues through sowing seed to advance the Gospel, which releases supernatural opportunity, provision, and the true riches of God, which are peace, joy, and the fruit of the Spirit.Ultimately, Pastor Mac challenged believers to steward their lives and resources in a way that serves God rather than mammon, knowing that when we faithfully invest in His kingdom, we position ourselves to see His vision fulfilled both in our lives and through us in the world. Pastor Mac Hammond reminded us that vision is not optional, it's a biblical mandate. As the Bible declares in the Book of Proverbs 29:18, without vision people perish. Vision begins when the Word of God shapes our values and the Holy Spirit reveals God's unique plan for our lives. But that vision isn't about personal success, it's about stewardship. Everything we have, our time, gifts, and resources belong to God and is meant to advance His kingdom. Through faithfulness in what seems “least,” especially our finances, we demonstrate who truly has our hearts. When we honor God, support His work, and remain faithful in another's vision, like our local church, He brings clarity, opportunity, and momentum to our own. The message is clear: vision grows when we live as faithful stewards, using what God has given us to impact eternity. In his second installment of "The Vision Mandate," Pastor Mac reminds us that vision isn't optional, it's a command of Scripture. Rooted in Proverbs 29:18, “Where there is no vision, the people perish,” he teaches that without God-given vision, our lives begin to slide backward. But with vision grounded in the Word, we step into healing, prosperity, purpose, and increase. Drawing from Habakkuk 2:2, Pastor Mac unpacked how vision is for an appointed time, and that “appointed time” is revealed when patience has its perfect work and when peace and joy show up before the promise manifests. True riches aren't money, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit; yet stewardship of money is the proving ground for greater trust. Through Gospel of Luke 16 and the principle of sowing and reaping, he challenges believers to embrace their shared calling as stewards by faithfully managing what God has entrusted to produce kingdom increase. When we seek first the kingdom, stand firm in faith, and make our supply in the house God has planted us in, we position ourselves to hear, “Well done,” and live perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Hello and welcome to the Live for More Podcast. In today's episode, we talk about why online church is not enough, and why watching a service from home (even with cinnamon rolls on the couch) is not the same as gathering with the people of God. We also dive deeper into the meaning of Jesus' crucifixion and explore the Old Testament prophecies fulfilled at the cross, plus why the historical evidence for Jesus is stronger than many people realize. At River Oak Church, we are a welcoming family of imperfect people who share a passion for God, a passion for others, and a passion for graciously sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. We enjoy an informal environment and Christ-exalting modern worship, and we are committed to following the truth of God's Word. We welcome you to come as you are, from wherever you've been, and join us!To support this ministry and help us continue to reach people all around the world click here: https://riveroakchurch.org/give/Support the show

Right now, there is a clarion call to the church and to this generation to pray! So said Pastor Ken in his message this past Sunday entitled, “Life at the Speed of Prayer.” This call to prayer is not for just a few “super-spiritual” people. This call to prayer is for all of us! You see, there's a lot going on in America and she's at a critical window of time. If we want to see America fulfill God's plan for her, then it's up to us to keep her on track through our prayers. Why prayer? Prayer activates the plan of God and sets us in motion, toward the direction of His purposes!Pastor Ken said, “Right now the signs of the church of America don't look the greatest. But guess what? I see signs on the landscape of things breaking loose, revival rising, and awakening spreading. The year 2026 is to be a year of movement and taking ground for God's kingdom. I challenge you right now, make a decision to go further in your prayer life than ever before!”Our Links–• Join The Prayer Movement!: https://theprayermovement.com• Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/livingwordmn• Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/livingwordmn• Stay up to date with all things LWCC at https://www.LWCC.org• Join our Online Church community here: https://www.lwcc.org/onlinechurch• Give online: https://www.lwcc.org/give/• If you recently committed your life to God, we'd like to give you a free eBook to help you in your spiritual journey. This past weekend, Pastor Mac gave the third installment of his teaching series entitled, “The Gatekeeper of Power.” Ephesians 1:19 says there is an exceeding greatness of power to usward who believe, yet many are frustrated they do not experience the power of God in their lives. They have yet to learn that their own minds are what controls the power of God flowing through their lives. However, the mind can be either a gateway for the power of God or a gateway for the deception of the enemy. To be a gatekeeper for the power of God to flow in your life, you must renew your mind to the Word of God. Pastor Mac used the Tower of Babel in Genesis chapter 11 to illustrate the power of the imagination. The people were determined to build a tower into the heavens and God said about them, “…nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do” (v. 6). God created the human brain with the ability to mentally image a future probability. That's the power of imagination. However, imagination can be used to bring evil into your life just as it can bring God's purpose and blessing into your life as well. So the question is, what are you imagining? Our Links–• Join The Prayer Movement!: https://theprayermovement.com• Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/livingwordmn• Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/livingwordmn• Stay up to date with all things LWCC at https://www.LWCC.org• Join our Online Church community here: https://www.lwcc.org/onlinechurch• Give online: https://www.lwcc.org/give/• If you recently committed your life to God, we'd like to give you a free eBook to help you in your spiritual journey. Many are tired of online worship. What happened? When the pandemic forced churches online, digital worship seemed like the future. Congregations grew virtually, and pastors reached audiences they never imagined. But five years later, that momentum has faded. The church is discovering what technology can—and cannot—do for worship. On this episode, Thom and Sam explore why online engagement has declined and how churches can find balance between digital convenience and in-person community. The post Digital Worship Fatigue: Why Online Church Can't Replace the In-Person Gathering appeared first on Church Answers.
Nearly five years after COVID-19 lockdowns, the research reveals surprising truths about how Americans engage with church online and what that means for pastors and ministry leaders. While 91% of churches now livestream services, only about 14% of Americans watch weekly. Most online viewers are also in-person attenders, meaning livestreams tend to serve already-committed believers rather than reaching the unchurched. The dream of a large “online-only” congregation just doesn't match the numbers. In this episode of the Burge Report, Ryan, Thom, and Sam give their key takeaways.
