Vandaag spreken we met Eva De Bleeker, Vlaams parlementslid voor Anders en voormalig staatssecretaris voor Begroting, over politiek die zichzelf nooit hoeft te verantwoorden. Deze keer wordt onze ‘4e stoel' ingenomen door Mathieu Bollaert.We starten bij het Belgisch compromis en de vraag of principes daarin overeind blijven. Van daaruit komen we bij de begroting: de afgesproken besparing die na corona alsnog werd uitgesteld, de telfout die geen telfout was, en waarom Nederland en de Europese Commissie hun beleid wél vooraf doorrekenen en achteraf evalueren. Vandaag spreken we met Mike Janssen, oprichter van Brouwerij & Stokerij Wilderen, over warm ondernemen in een sector die krimpt.We starten bij het pand zelf: een productie-eenheid die teruggaat tot 1743, een stokerij uit 1890 die in 1939 dichtging en die niemand nog wilde. Van daaruit komen we bij de drie jaar die het duurde om een vergunning te krijgen, bij de regeling die een kerkfabriek tachtig procent subsidie geeft en een ondernemer veertig, en bij de elf maanden waarin hij het uiteindelijk zelf liet doen. We komen tot de cijfers achter de beleving: 120.000 bezoekers per jaar, vijftien jaar bestaan, een eerste positieve EBITDA die er pas onlangs kwam, en een land dat van 130 naar 450 brouwerijen ging terwijl Nederland er 900 telt. Vandaag spreken we met Bart Willocx, eerste voorzitter van het hof van beroep Antwerpen en Overheidsmanager van het Jaar 2025, over justitie als dienstverlening, straffen die niet worden uitgevoerd en de rechtsstaat onder druk.We starten bij de mindshift die justitie na Dutroux maakte: van machtsinstituut naar dienstverlening, en wat er dan overblijft van het verwijt van de activistische rechter. Van daaruit komen we bij de traagheid en de kosten, de vier dingen die burgers van justitie vragen, en bij de uitvoering: een Sky-zaak met samen meer dan honderd jaar celstraf terwijl de capaciteit ontbreekt, de burger die zijn boete wel betaalt, en een gevangenis waar begeleiding het verschil zou maken. Maar kan een justitie die middelen vraagt tegelijk haar eigen structuur van 49 hoven en rechtbanken in vraag stellen, en wat lossen AI en digitalisering daar echt van op?We eindigen met de robuustheid van onze rechtsstaat: autoritaire leiders internationaal, en een overheid die hier veroordelingen naast zich neerlegt; valt die solidaire bodem weg, dan blijft het recht van de sterkste over. In 2003 was ruim een derde van de Vlaamse vijftienjarigen een toppresteerder in wiskunde; in de PISA-meting van 2022 is dat vijftien procent. Dabei wirkt der Switch-2-Exklusivtitel in Ästhetik und Spielgefühl wie ein vergessenes, leicht schräges Playstation-2-Spiel – irgendwo zwischen Survival-Horror, Stealth-Experiment und absurdem Dino-Abenteuer.Hagen Gehritz (GamersGlobal) und Micha waren von Tokyo Scramble entsprechend fasziniert. ZeroSpace zeigt eindrucksvoll, wie moderne Echtzeitstrategie nicht nur optisch auszusehen hat, sondern auch, wie sie das Gefühl vermittelt, mitten in einer gigantischen Schlacht zu stehen. Soundtechnisch kracht es dabei gewaltig, was die Wucht der Auseinandersetzungen zusätzlich unterstreicht. Mit abwechslungsreichen Missionen, vielschichtigen Fraktionen, einer packenden Hintergrundgeschichte sowie vielseitigen Koop- und Versus-Modi kratzt der Titel bereits stark am Thron von Genre-Königen wie StarCraft oder Command & Conquer. Besonders die Kombination aus Hauptfraktion, Söldner-Einheiten und wählbaren Helden bringt frischen Wind ins Genre und sorgt für enorme taktische Tiefe. Allerdings spürt man an einigen Stellen noch deutlich den Early-Access-Status: Die Cutscenes und Übergänge in der Kampagne wirken teilweise sehr abrupt, und bei der KI-Wegfindung kommt es immer wieder zu Aussetzern. Auch wenn der Preis für einen Vorab-Titel recht knackig ausfällt, stimmt der gebotene Umfang schon jetzt.

In deze aflevering spreekt Yael Potjer met wetenschapsjournalist Marcel Crok over klimaatfeiten versus klimaatalarmisme, de economische gevolgen van het klimaatbeleid en de schade aan onze welvaart.Crok erkent dat de aarde sinds 1850 opwarmt en dat CO₂ daarbij een rol speelt, maar plaatst grote vraagtekens en nuances bij de manier waarop klimaatscenario's worden gepresenteerd. Zo waarschuwde hij jaren geleden al dat het veelgebruikte rampscenario RCP8.5 niet realistisch was. Crok kreeg recent op dit punt gelijk: RCP8.5 keert niet terug in de scenario's voor het volgende IPCC-rapport. Ook stelt Crok dat er geen duidelijke toename is in extreem weer, zoals het aantal en de kracht van orkanen.
