Gould & current atheist Richard Dawkins in Glen Rose, (he was too busy, but his 17 year old assistant got it done), and his open invitation to Lawrence Krauss and Neil "Inhale" deGrasse Tyson. *Welcome Carl Baugh. Ph. D.: One in a long list of men who bought the truth and wouldn't sell it, and by well-doing put to silence the ignorance of foolish men. He's the Founder and Director of the Creation Evidence Museum of Texas in Glen Rose. He is the discoverer and excavation director of sixteen dinosaurs, including Acrocanthosaurus in Texas and Diplodocus in Colorado. After more than forty years of work and research in creation science and ministry, he directed the construction of a 1/20th scale replica of the Ark now in the museum and holds a U.S. Patent on the gopherwood process. Dr. Baugh lectures internationally on evidence for scientific creation on television and radio, and in schools, and in churches. He stands firmly AGAINST the theory of evolution and FOR the Biblical account of creation.   *Go Figure Gopherwood: Ever wonder about the "gopherwood" God commanded Noah to use in building the Ark? Hear from Dr. Baugh what structural interlamination & gopherwood are, what may have been the adhesive Noah, (and later Neaderthals) used to make it, and how he got the patent for the gopherwood process!   *Get a Load of This: Hear how the building load of genetic mutations observed in the human genome proves man is devolving, not evolving, (and explains why it seems like everyone's getting dumber.   *Creation Evidence Museum: Visit the Creation Evidence Museum of Texas and see how sound produces light. And see the thin sectioned dinosaur tissue (and the stomach contents of trilobites) reveal collagen when viewed through one of the polarizing microscopes at Dr. Baugh's museum (and so much more) give evidence that "In the Beginning God created!"   *Revisiting the Paluxy Footprints: From George Adams to Charlie Moss, to Carl Baugh; hear about the documented evidence and Carl's account of the excavation of human & dinosaur footprints in the Paluxy River bed outside Glen Rose Texas. Some of which, (the human's that is) still withstand all attempts to discredit them).

The Gorillamen are prophets. They do an episode about paleontology (Gorilla Shawn, recording in a fever dream), and BOOM! -- without their knowledge, it's International Dinosaur Month. New dinosaurs are discovered (including an image of an ass-eating dino in the thumbnail)! Clearly, we are power-wielding apes! Also, we're dinosaur geeks, so it's about time we talked about big lizards in our backyard... * * * We kick it off with our earliest memories about dinosaurs or the study of paleontology. After that, we talk about if either of us ever considered a career in Dinosaur Arts and Education. Find out if we know any actual paleontologists...and if we've ever been near a dig -- even a fake one. Then we move on to our schooling...and how teachers discussed paleontology (in Texas and outside of Texas -- because wow, what a difference other states make). Also find out the coolest dinosaur fossils we've seen in person; the fossils we deem best in the world, and our favorite dinosaurs. Speaking of favorites, we chat a bit about our favorite fictional paleontologists before moving on to why the study of paleontology is important. And we wrap it all up with the future of paleontology. * * * Photo: Brett Meliti.

Did a Japanese fishing vessel catch the body of a prehistoric aquatic dinosaur? In this week's MonsterTalk, we interview Glen Kuban to discuss the 1977 case of the Zuiyo-Maru, dinosaurs, paleontology, cryptozoology and why so many creationists want to find living dinosaurs. Kuban has done extensive research on two cases important to monster enthusiasts. His article explaining the true nature of the 'mysterious' carcass netted by the Japanese fishing vessel Zuiyo-maru and his decades long investigation into the alleged 'giant humanoid tracks' in the Paluxy fossil bed in Texas both highlight the importance of a thorough investigation before assuming the remarkable is true.
