I came across this recording and though I am posting it long after St. Patrick's Day... aired on March 16, 2010... I wanted to add this to the other 5 Vidalia VanDam cooking episodes to this podcast. On this show Vidalia demonstrates to our radio listeners how to make a delicious Corned Beef for St. Patrick's Day. Her visits were part of my Audio Theater show that I did for 13 years on Portsmouth Community Radio, WSCA-LP in Portsmouth, NH. Let me know if you would like more "Vidalia"
Vidalia is back visiting my Audio Theater program on Nov 9, 2006 at Portsmouth Community Radio... in this episode Vidalia reflects back on her childhood growing up on a pickle and onion farm in Virginia. She reveals how she got her start as the Bench Chef and her early efforts in the culinary arts. This and more episodes with Vidalia are in the "The Bench Chef" Playlist
This is the first of four parts recorded in January of 2010 at Portsmouth Community Radio as part of my Audio Theater program there that I did for 13 years. This in the introduction to the series and it mentions David Sarnoff (photo bottom left), Marconi (photo bottom right) and the Titanic... Morse Code... before voices were heard on radio.... This and the 3 remaining parts can be found in "The History of Radio" playlist.
