Dr. Mike Sabeti discusses tooth restorability, common misconceptions of endodontists and periodontists, and his experience as a residency program chairman. Dr. Sabeti received his DDS degree from University of Texas, Dental Branch at Houston. He completed his residency in Periodontics at Tufts School of dental medicine in 1995. He served in the Post graduate in department of periodontology at University of Texas, Dental Branch at Houston. He completed his Endodontics at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. He currently serve as Chair of Postgraduate Education Curriculum Committee and Director of post graduate endodontics at University of California at San Francisco. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He has made many invited presentations and published along with several textbook chapters and textbooks. Dr. Barry Freydberg is a 1968 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, has been in full-time practice since graduation. Presently he practices in Skokie, Illinois, where he emphasizes esthetic dentistry and sleep apnea treatment and in Phoenix, AZ where he limits his practice to the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and a Fellow of the International Academy for Dental-Facial Esthetics. In 2004, Dr. Freydberg received the distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Illinois. In 2007, Dr. Gordon Christensen appointed Dr. Freydberg as the Director of Technology at the new Scottsdale Center for Dentistry. In February 2009, the Chicago Dental Society awarded Dr. Freydberg the Gordon Christensen Lecture Recognition Award for his outstanding teaching contributions over the years.
