astor Ray Bentley says, our walk of faith today is reminiscent of the walk of faith of the father of the faith, Abraham. When we heard the gospel itself, we heard the Word of God. And through the word we heard the voice of the Lord himself calling us, saying, come, follow me. Every single one of us. Who then said, yes, Lord, I will follow you began a holy pilgrimage.
The unseen world and the physical world are just separate, as we might think. Today, pastor Ray Bentley points out, they're inseparably linked together through God Himself. Everything that is seen was made by that which is invisible. That's true, isn't it? In fact, if you can see something with substance and physical tangibility to it, it's proof that it's made of something invisible, spreading.
Do you need some encouragement today? Well, pastor Ray Bentley points out the words of reassurance we find from today's study. God is saying to you, I see your life. I know exactly what's going on in your mind, in your heart. I know the pressures. I know what you're going through physically. I know where you are. Emotional. It's all right in front of me.
Today, pastor Ray Bentley points out, we often think about getting into heaven, but we don't often think about heaven getting into us. Heaven has already entered you. The Lord is what heaven's all about. Wherever Jesus is is heaven. There's heaven in you. But if you want to experience more heaven, you have to seek the Lord. Those who seek after me with everything they've got will find me spread.
In the Old Testament. Priests and their idiosyncracies would come and go. But pastor Ray Bentley says, under the New Covenant, Jesus is our priest. The beauty of the New covenant and our perfect grace Jesus. Number one, he is a man. So he resonates with us, but also he is perfect. He never has a bad day. He is always the same.
An uncomfortable dose of truth from pastor Ray Bentley. There are enemies who want to rob and steal and kill and take captive your precious children. It might be your own son or your own daughter. It might be literally a niece or nephew. It might be your grandchildren. That's why in every generation God says, I need men and women of faith.
Sin separates us from God. But pastor Ray Bentley reminds us God is an expert at forgiving sin. For we know that God is gracious. God is merciful. God is long suffering. God is patient. We know that he doesn't reward us according to our iniquities. But as high as the heavens are above the earth, so are his mercies toward those who love him.
Veteran Christians should be maturing Christians. But pastor Ray Bentley says, we never reach a place where we've grown enough. There is a time in every believer's life where they go. You know, I've read the Bible, but you can reach a point where you think, you know, I kind of know it. I kind of have heard it. I've asked the questions, and now I have the answers.
In the Old Testament, priests had special access to God. Today, pastor Ray Bentley reminds us that now we are priests. You and I, now in this age, are priests. We are members of a royal priesthood. We, as we come in contact with the world, are representing God in our humanity and our weakness with all of our problems. So I just wanted to remind you that you are priests.

The Christian life can seem difficult. But pastor Ray Bentley says that's not the Lord's intention. In Jesus Christ, the gift of God to you and me is a perpetual, ongoing Sabbath of rest, of open communion with God, of fellowship, of relaxing, of not living life in my own strength, power, ability, but trusting in the Lord.
Jesus was in the heavenlies, reigning supreme, the creator of the universe. And yet, pastor Ray Bentley points out. Jesus chose to become a human being and walk among us. He came to save human beings, and that meant he had to take on flesh and blood. And by dying and being perfect, he was able to rise, resurrect, and all who trust in him shall be led back to that former place of glory spread.
What do you hope to take away from today's Maranatha radio? Here's what pastor Ray Bentley hopes to give you my hope. And I guess if I had a two fold checklist of what I would like to accomplish every time we come together and spend time in the word number one to exhort you, which means to encourage you, to inspire you, to bless you, to comfort you, to hear you, on the other hand, to convict, to bring some sense of conviction spread.
We know heaven will be wonderful. But dare we ask how wonderful? Well, today on Maranatha Radio, pastor Ray Bentley addresses that question. If, while on the earth you were blessed financially and you prospered and God gave you a lot of blessings and material things, but you were a believer and you've come to the end of your life and you depart and go to heaven.

Today, pastor Ray Bentley examines the miracle moment when the angels announce the birth of the Christ child. I absolutely love this. The angels literally take the veil between heaven and earth. Step through that veil as they now announce to the shepherds down in the fields of Bethlehem. Behold unto us born this day a Savior, which is Christ the Lord spread.
astor Ray Bentley points out how the little town of Bethlehem fits into God's plan of redemption. Bethlehem is the place where shepherds raised the sheep that would be used for sacrifice. How amazing, then, that Jesus, who is called the Lamb of God, he would sacrifice his life as the Lamb of God to take away the sins of the world.
oday on Maranatha! Radio, pastor Ray Bentley highlights the blessing of knowing Christ and the blessing of sharing Christ. If you're a believer in Jesus Christ, eternal glory is in you. And the greatest privilege you will ever have in your life is sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with another human being, and see them open their heart and receive Christ.
Coming up today, pastor Ray Bentley gives us a snapshot of the way the Lord relates to us, or at least the way the Lord wants to relate to us. Jesus showed not just any kind of love. He initiated an extreme relationship. That's what he wants. That's why you are there always something stirring within you? It's a good thing.
Today, pastor Ray Bentley helps us understand just what kind of place we hold in the heart of God. When someone favors you, they adore you. They love you. That's the love that God has. You have the grace of God, the favor of God. And it's grace added to grace. Grace. Heaped on grace. Love heaped upon love. In other words, you cannot get God off of you.
The gospel can change lives. But today, pastor Ray Bentley says we need to let the gospel remain unedited. There is a version of Christianity that's very popular. It brings people together. It's very uniting. But the cross part of it is often, in one way or another, either diluted or sought to be removed. Paul said then, and I believe it's still true today.
When we accept Christ as Savior. That means we'll spend life eternal with God in heaven. But pastor Ray Bentley says that's just the beginning. What is life all about? It's learning from the beginning to the end of my life. How to become more and more a servant. The more of a servant you are, the more godly you actually are becoming.
Today, pastor Ray Bentley points out, anyone can move up to the next level in their walk with God. It just takes some work. Any human being that will walk and devote themselves to working on my exercise, going to the gym of the human heart. And by the way, a gym speaks of a lot of hard work. It's a lot easier to work on the outside.
Today, pastor Ray Bentley points out the dynamic God intended for the body of Christ. We are the church of the Living God. We're the family of God. We're brothers and sisters. And may I say to you, God never intended for you as good as you are, as spiritual as you are. None of us was meant to live life in our own power, our own strength, our own wisdom, our own ability.
Today, pastor Ray Bentley points out who the Lord is looking for in the church. The Lord needs godly elders, men that would be raised up. God honors age. God honors experience. God honors seasoning. God honors those who have gone through fires. Those who have, as it were, passed the test or been formed or shape spread. You see all of these people coming down before the King live your first Jesus is coming.
Today, pastor Ray Bentley explains how to impact your family for the Lord. You can be the one that changes the course direction of your whole family line and a whole new direction. All it takes is one member of a family to believe God, to follow the word of the Lord, to walk in obedience, to claim the promises of God and God.
God is trustworthy. A truth that should undergird our lives. According to pastor Ray Bentley. It's interesting that one of the major themes of the Bible is that God keeps his promises. And you know, there are in the Bible some 7000 promises. And one thing I'd like to encourage you to do as you read through the Bible, and I encourage you to read it daily.
There are many aspects to the life of faith, but today pastor Ray Bentley points to the one that stands out among all the others. The very first truth that any child of God must invite personally into their hearts is the truth that God loves me. Everything that God has done for you and me personally is motivated by his tremendous, passionate love spread.
Coming up today, pastor Ray Bentley brings us a primer on prayer from the book of Ephesians. If you've ever wanted to learn how to pray better or I would have loved to be able to spend time, let's say, with the Apostle Paul, how does he pray? What is it like to pray? You read Ephesians. You'll feel like you've been with Paul while in prayer. Ephesians 1
The book we are discussing is The Gates of Zion by Brock and Bodie Theone. You can follow Josh's work over on his substack called New Means. He mostly covers issues of labor but most recently has been writing from a Jewish perspective on the dangers of zionism. “Zionism was the air we breathed. To me it seemed so normal, it was not something we investigated consciously.” The single largest zionist organization in the US Christians United for Israel. You can read more about it here. The current speaker of the house, Mike Johnson, is a rabid Christian zionist. Jewitches has a great podcast, post, and infographics on Christian zionism. They write: “The largest Zionist organization has more Christian members than there are Jewish Americans alive. As of 2021, there are roughly 7.5 million American Jews. Christians United for Israel alone has over 10 million Christian members. There are more than 30 million Christian Zionists in the United States alone, according to the author & academic Tristan Sturm. That's double the population of Jews worldwide.” Here is a quick biography of Brock and Bodie Theone. In 1978 while working on The Fall Guy, she [Bodie] told John Wayne about her desire to write about the events surrounding Israel's statehood. "That's one you ought to do," Wayne said. "It's the Jewish Alamo!" An unusual series of circumstances directed Bodie into the Zion project. A producer persuaded her to write a script centering on the day in 1948 when Jerusalem's mayor received from the British the key to the Old City. For the first time in 2,000 years, a Jew held the key to the city gates. While an intriguing story to Bodie, the producer needed the script in three weeks. Brock and Bodie have written 65 different books and sold over 35 million copies of their zionist historical fiction. “Due to such careful research, The Zion Covenant and The Zion Chronicles series are recognized by the American Library Association, as well as Zionist libraries around the world, as classic historical novels and are used to teach history in college classrooms.” O Jerusalem was a book published in 1972 that was a popular history of the creation of the nation-state of Israel. Here is some good background info on the book and what its aims were. One of Bodie's recent facebook posts mentions “the door of the Ark is about to close” The rest of their facebook page is just one big trigger warning/red flag. Brock and Bodie wrote their recent books of fiction with Calvary Chapel pastor (and huge end-times prophecy guy) Ray Bentley.
