The Golden Rule Revolution with Lucas Mack
#329 The Wisdom of Being Human: Finding Freedom in a Divided World | Dolores Gill

What if freedom isn't about escaping the world—but learning how to remain fully yourself within it? In this episode of The Lucas Mack Show, Lucas sits down with world traveler and wisdom seeker Dolores Gil for a powerful conversation about what it means to live with clarity, sovereignty, and connection in an increasingly disconnected world. Drawing from her experiences across cultures and countries, Dolores shares how travel stripped away layers of conditioning and changed the way she sees people, relationships, success, and herself. Together, Lucas and Dolores explore the difference between experience and true wisdom, why authentic freedom requires us to stop abandoning ourselves, and how technology, corporate greed, and cultural division can quietly disconnect us from our humanity. They also explore something deeper: the possibility that healing isn't only individual. It's collective. This conversation is an invitation to question what we've been taught, think for ourselves, see the humanity in one another, and remember that beneath our cultures, beliefs, identities, and differences, we are far more connected than we've been led to believe. In this episode: Why experience alone doesn't create wisdom What traveling the world can teach us about humanity Personal sovereignty without isolation Remaining authentic inside relationships How technology is changing human connection The danger of outsourcing our critical thinking Individual healing vs. collective healing Why freedom begins with knowing who you are Restoring dignity, respect, and humanity in a divided world Connect with Dolores: https://www.linkedin.com/in/doloresgill/ Thank you for listening – if you're struggling to break free and need support – go to my website and www.lucasmack.com. What Does a Spiritual Seeker Need to Know? Book a session in our Jane app. Learn more about how Reiki works in this article: "What is involved for in-person Reiki Sessions?"   What Is Channelling? (And How Reiki Helps) Geneva begins by sharing how she experiences channelling: For her, channelling means “connecting to source,” which includes beings of light like angels, guides, spiritual mentors, Ascended Masters, and the consciousness of “the all that is”. This is “the Team” that speaks in the channelled messages. She explains that mediumship is about connecting to loved ones who have passed away, while channelling is about connecting to source, the divine, or higher consciousness. Because she has practiced Reiki for many years, Reiki opened her energy channel and sensitivity. The energy she feels is rich with information. Over time, she learned to decode it. For many years, Geneva channelled mostly through writing with her Team to achieve the greatest clarity in the messages. Recently, she skipped the writing part and now delivers messages directly, creating a more natural dialogue and faster process for clients and students.   The Vertigo that Changed Everything Geneva shares a deeply personal story of how her channel opened further after an intense health experience. After a round of enthusiastic gardening, she developed severe vertigo. Vertigo made it difficult to write by hand or type, as every movement caused more dizziness. It was also an unexpected gift of stillness and mindfulness, creating an even deeper spiritual connection. Unable to write comfortably, she began speaking into her phone and noticed clear guidance coming through. This was the beginning of speaking channelling out loud. Alongside the physical symptoms, the vertigo initiated intensive healing around people-pleasing and learning to be comfortable with others' discomfort. It was fast training in alignment with her soul, spiritual honesty, and acting only on what is truly aligned. From her divine team's perspective, the vertigo became an elegant way to train her to stop over-fixing and over-helping, let others have their own discomfort and growth, and ask for more help when she physically cannot do everything herself.   How Geneva Channels: Safety, Reiki, and Process Before she begins channelling, Geneva explains her approach, which may help reassure anyone who is curious or cautious about this kind of work: She only connects to the highest energy. Reiki acts as a steady, pure, unchanging source of high vibration frequency. She brings in Reiki symbols and energy, sets the intention for clarity, benefit, and safety for all, and anchors into a column of light from an infinite source through the body into the earth. She is clear that the beings she connects with are loving, kind, and safe. Geneva is simply an interpreter of spiritual communication, so things can be lost in translation. She does not want anyone to blindly believe something just because it's channelled. You are always your own spiritual authority. Take what resonates and gently set aside what doesn't. For Geneva, channelling feels like she “takes a seat in the auditorium” of her own mind. She sits back as an observer while the message speaks through her voice. It feels similar to being a live translator. Concepts arrive, then turn into words. Sometimes the concepts are surprising or different from how she would answer, which is definitely a fascinating experience.   Channelled Teaching: What Does a Spiritual Seeker Need to Know? Angela asks the central question: “What is the most important information for a spiritual seeker to know?” The channelled answer acknowledges that the response is multi‑layered and depends on where someone is on their journey—whether just beginning or decades in. Still, the message offers key stages of spiritual development that many seekers encounter. Compassion and Empathy: Outward First, Then Inward The channelled guidance highlights compassion as a core, advanced lesson. Early on, seekers learn to step out of purely egoic self-reference, recognize that others exist, and honour the uniqueness of each person's experience and pain. Many listeners will likely have already mastered deep empathy for others and sensitivity to the pain of the collective. For these souls, the next level is returning that same depth of compassion and empathy to the self, the inner child, and the parts inside that are struggling. A key message the Team wants you to know is that: You are one of the beings you are here to hold compassion for.   The Observer: Who Is Doing the Viewing? The message invites seekers to explore a subtle, profound question: If you can view another person… If you can view yourself… Even view different parts within yourself… Who is the one doing the viewing? This “observer” is closer to the perspective of the beings who are speaking. It can see the inner complexity of others, notice your own inner world, and also hold a third perspective beyond both. This leads to a sense of non-separation between you and others, and to the capacity to see you and the other as one interconnected field, reciprocal and exchanging information and energy. Even if two people never meet physically, they can still be on the same frequency, communicate in dreams or subtle realms, and share a kind of telepathic dialogue of understanding.   The World Is Conscious As you evolve as a seeker, another realization arises: The physical world is conscious; the matter you sit on, the atoms in every object, are connected to a universal field of information and light and are vibratory and responsive. Once this is integrated, the next step is to bring that awareness into your daily actions, start creating from that source-aligned place, let go of limiting beliefs and self-concept, and act from what you know in your soul to be true and aligned.   You Can Never Be Off Your Path One of the most comforting parts of the message is this: You have never lost your way. You can never be off your path. Wherever you are, that is the path.     Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. You'll have likely heard it before: "There is no right way. Only your way." It's often one of the most repeated phrases in spirituality and energy work. But what happens when the very structures beneath that message make your own way impossible to find?In this episode, I explore spiritual ego, inherited systems, the hidden cost of external authority, and why so many practitioners find themselves caught between staying loyal to methods and that were never built from their own roots – despite being deeply intuitive. From 21-day Reiki cleanses and spiritual aesthetics to the fragmentation of the Sacred Triangle, this conversation examines how surface-level anything can quietly disconnect us from the truth of our own power. Most importantly, it explores why rejection isn't the destination.Reclamation is.By the end of this episode, you'll explore five perspective shifts:Why spiritual ego often appears as certainty around there being a "right way" to be spiritual, heal, or practise. How surface-level prescriptions create shame and self-doubt while bypassing the deeper causes of change. Why authenticity doesn't look like anything - and how spiritual aesthetics can become substitutes for genuine self-trust.How the fragmentation of the Sacred Triangle - Theory, Intuition, and Spiritual Wisdom - creates dependency on external authority and therefore disconnectionWhy rejecting inherited systems is a vital first step, but why the deeper invitation is reclamationSpirit-led Reiki Pathway: https://www.reikiredefined.com/spirit-led-reiki-pathwayNo cost community: https://www.reikiredefined.com/free-community/UNDILUTED no cost weekly round up: https://reiki-redefined.kit.com/6629991732You'll find me most on Tiktok @reikiredefined

Episode 152 of 2 Minute Disciple Season 5 explores Jesus' sobering and encouraging words in Matthew 10:16–20. As He sends His disciples into a world that will often resist and oppose them, Jesus offers both a warning and a promise. “Be as shrewd as snakes and harmless as doves.” Jesus never promises that following Him will be easy. He compares His followers to sheep among wolves and prepares them for opposition, misunderstanding, and hardship. Yet He also assures them that they will never face those moments alone. When the time comes to speak, the Holy Spirit will provide the wisdom, words, and courage they need. In this contemplative Christian podcast episode, Nick guides listeners through a rhythm of slowing down, reading Scripture, noticing, meditating, responding in prayer, and practicing a simple spiritual habit. Together, we explore what it means to balance wisdom with innocence, courage with humility, and preparation with dependence on God. This episode is for anyone facing difficult conversations, opposition, uncertainty, or situations where they feel unsure of what to say. It is a reminder that God's Spirit is faithful to guide His people in every circumstance.

Did you know that some of the emotions you carry today may not have started with you? That deep anxiety you can't explain. The guilt, the fear, the heaviness that seems older than your current life circumstances. What if those feelings didn't begin in your story, but were passed down to you?In this episode of Infinite Life, Infinite Wisdom, Susan Grau explores the powerful and often unseen reality of emotional inheritance, the patterns, fears, survival responses, and unprocessed grief passed down through families and generations. She explains how we don't just inherit physical traits or beliefs, but emotional environments. As children, we absorb tension, silence, expectations, and coping strategies long before we have language for them. Over time, these patterns can feel like identity, even when they are adaptations.Susan introduces a powerful metaphor, the “invisible suitcase”, the emotional weight we carry that was never consciously chosen. Inside it can be inherited fear, shame, hypervigilance, people pleasing, or the belief that love must be earned. This episode goes beyond awareness into healing. Susan shows how these inherited patterns live in the nervous system, shape our relationships, and influence how we see ourselves. She reframes these responses not as flaws, but as intelligent survival strategies that once protected us.Most importantly, she offers a compassionate path forward, one rooted in awareness, self responsibility, and choice. Healing doesn't mean blaming the past. It means recognizing what was passed down, and deciding what you no longer want to carry. Have you been feeling an unexplained anxiety, a low-grade tension, or a sadness with no clear source? Do you feel perpetually “on alert,” emotionally raw, or disconnected from joy even when your personal life seems stable? You are not broken, and you are not alone. In this episode of Infinite Life, Infinite Wisdom, Susan Grau addresses the palpable yet often nameless weight so many are carrying. This isn't about politics or prediction. It's a compassionate exploration of what it means to be a sensitive, perceptive human when the collective consciousness itself feels dysregulated.Susan explains how widespread grief, fear, and unresolved trauma create an atmosphere of “ambient suffering” that our nervous systems, especially those of empaths, healers, and caregivers, cannot help but absorb. This leads to symptoms like chronic anxiety, irritability, emotional numbness, brain fog, and exhausting mental loops as our systems search for closure and safety that the external world cannot provide.Moving beyond spiritual bypassing, Susan offers a practical and somatic path back to yourself. She reframes anxiety not as a thought problem, but as a nervous system signal. She redefines confusion not as incompetence, but as the necessary “space between stories” when old maps no longer fit. The core of healing, she reveals, lies in one vital shift, moving from the question “Is this story true?” to “Is this story regulating my nervous system?”This episode is a gentle, firm guide to empowerment through inner authority. It's about learning to discern what energy is yours to carry and what belongs to the collective, and how to release the latter without guilt. Susan provides actionable anchors, like pausing your internal narrative, regulating your body, and shrinking your timeframe to the present moment, to help you reclaim your grounding, your peace, and your power. In This Episode:[00:00] Introduction [01:24] Collective emotional overwhelm[02:38] Dysregulation and self-regulation[03:38] Ambient suffering and emotional reactivity[06:12] Nervous system and collective stress[07:27] Symptoms of overload and disconnection[08:24] Anxiety: body vs. mind[10:30] Confusion as a developmental stage[12:40] The stories we tell ourselves[14:50] Survival stories and letting go[16:58] Regulating the nervous system[19:01] Empowerment without bypassing[20:17] Personal vs. collective anxiety[22:36] Grounding and sensation of safety[24:06] Returning to self: practical solutions[25:42] The limits of control and self-relationship[28:55] ConclusionNotable Quotes[01:19] "Nothing's wrong with you. And I don't mean that in a motivational way. I mean it in a psychological way. In an emotional way."[02:59] "We don't need to bury our heads in the sand... But how do we self-regulate so that we can handle what's going on?"[08:19] "Our nervous system needs closure, and when it doesn't have it, it plays a loop in our brains."[11:21] "Confusion is the space between the stories."[11:38] "The old map no longer fits, but the new map hasn't been drawn yet."[16:27] "A thought can feel absolutely true and still not be truth."[21:38] "You are not meant to metabolize the entire world. You are allowed to release what does not belong to you."[22:43] "Safety is not an idea. It's a sensation."[19:01] "Empowerment doesn't have to be loud.."[29:02] "The only control you have is over you. And that is the scariest comment, isn't it?"[30:08] "Don't run from fear. Shake hands with it, face it and look it in the eye."Susan GrauSusan Grau is an internationally celebrated intuitive life coach, a key opinion leader, author, medium and speaker, who discovered her ability to communicate with the spirit world after a near-death experience at age four. Did you know that gaslighting doesn't only happen in romantic relationships, but can show up in families, friendships, workplaces, spiritual spaces, and even inside your own mind long after the other person is gone?In this episode of Infinite Life, Infinite Wisdom, Susan Grau talks honestly about gaslighting, not as a buzzword, but as something that slowly teaches you to doubt yourself. Your memory. Your feelings. Your intuition. Drawing from her own experience and the work she's done with clients, Susan explains how gaslighting can leave you disconnected from your body, unsure of your truth, and constantly questioning whether you were right or wrong. She shares why the impact of gaslighting often continues long after the relationship or situation has ended, and why that ongoing self-doubt isn't a flaw. It's a survival response. Susan also talks about what healing really looks like, and it's not dramatic or confrontational. It's quiet and reparative. Learning to believe in yourself again. As cascading climate challenges reshape our world, the most resilient systems are ones we often overlook. Ecological futurist Tariq Al-Olaimy has seen this firsthand in disaster-stricken communities, where church basements, mosque yards and temple networks form a "spiritual infrastructure" that sustains people long before formal aid arrives. Drawing on a decade of work with global faith coalitions, Al-Olaimy explores why spiritual traditions are uniquely equipped to navigate moments of collapse — and how aligning our inner values, economies and ecosystems may be essential to restoring life on a changing planet.
