A few years back, Bill Simmons made reference to modern pro wrestling as “The Reality Era”. I believe WWE is finally learning how to blend the excitement of moments we saw in the last year on Talking Smack with fantastic in-ring action. From EVERYTHING involved with Cena vs Reigns to most things The Miz touches, as well as Kevin Owens and his interactions with the McMahons on SmackDown – it's been the most engaging and exciting content on WWE programming in a while. More, please! Except legit headbutts to septuagenarians. We could probably do without that. This week, we run through RAW, SmackDown, and yes – the Mae Young Classic Finale! Featuring: ‘The Beast from the Middle East' Darrell Johnson (@zazzumplop), Joshua Schlag (@thesteelcage / @schlizzag) and ‘The Mayor of Reseda' Derek (@cap_kaveman). Vince Russo returns to talk about the squared-circle business with Steve - from the Attitude Era to the new Reality Era (and what that really means). And they both offer up some good advice for aspiring pro-wrestlers out there.
