Oh man! It's part 2 with Mick Foley! And it's Promos, Promos, Promos... along with some serious analysis about Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, & Jake "The Snake" Roberts' Hall of Fame speech. Plus - ECW violence, 11 chair shots from The Rock, the famous Uncle Willie promo, Owen Hart & the Santa-sized sack of popcorn, and "Pimpin' Shrimpin' & Chimpin' Ain't Easy."
Let's go, girls! Nikki's dragging this week because she stayed up late to binge-watch Love Island, but tragically, it was spoiled for her! She's seen a lot of growth from the cast this season, so she's very proud of them. On the other end of the streaming spectrum, Brie turned the Shania Twain documentary on Netflix into a three-night viewing experience because she refuses to stay up late. Nikki met Shania during her season on “Dancing With the Stars,” and as starstruck as she was, Nikki made it through the Argentine Tango with Artem. Nikki opens up to Brie about her anxiety struggles as Matteo gets ready to go to school, and Brie's in the same boat with Buddy. So they're making School Year's Resolutions to help deal with all of the firsts that new routines and experiences will bring. Brie also has some hilarious observations about Birdie's personality as she gets ready for a new school year. Nikki also loves rumors, especially DWTS casting rumors, but so far, she's just not getting the kind of casting gossip she needs. But she is impressed with the status of Artem's body as he gets ready for another season on the show. Brie, on the other hand, is wrapped up in celebrity sightings around Lake Tahoe. It's game time once again on The Bellas Podcast! Nikki introduces a new game, Hot & Cold, that comes with some serious opinions. Topics range from celebrity breakups to Serena Williams' retirement, Snoop Dogg's cereal, the sudden surge in vaginal surgeries, and much more. This episode's Inspiration & Affirmation comes from The Queen of Country Pop herself, Shania Twain. Nikki chose a special quote about maximizing opportunity from Shania that grabbed her attention. With WWE putting this year's edition of SummerSlam on in late July, our own SummerSlam season begins early, with a look back at the 2013 edition of the show which featured a double main event of John Cena versus Daniel Bryan for the WWE Title and the No-Disqualification match between CM Punk and Brock Lesnar. The night though was perhaps best remembered for what happened immediately after the WWE Title match, with Randy Orton's Money in the Bank cash-in, and Triple H's heel turn- our hosts discuss all of the above, and everything else on the show. The Random Wrestling Review is brought to you this week by Old Man, Matt and Tinky.
Welcome back! We reviewed another middling episode of iMPACT! this week where again, for some reason, Norman Smiley was there but we all like Norman here so it's fine. Also, this Abyss “push” that's allegedly going on sucks several bags of ass and we can only imagine how they're gonna fuck it up more. We also reviewed a classic show from the infancy of our boy Max's wrestling fandom in which Paige debuted, we saw the spitting images and antithesis of Vince's wet dreams, and Daniel Bryan is super over. Nikki & Brie are back from another whirlwind trip to New York City to promote their upcoming documentary “Biography: WWE Legends” Episode Airing Sunday, July 24 at 8pm ET/PT on A&E! Something that they both noticed on this trip: There are certain cities that feed the Bellas energy and certain cities that drain it. New York has always been a positive and always leaves them fully charged. But they might need to explore some new nooks and crannies of the Big Apple on their next visit because Manhattan has so much to offer. And the cities that drain them might surprise you! Talking about the documentary, Nikki & Brie reflect on their early days in the WWE and taking risks with their careers and their personal lives, something that Bryan and Artem have always been in awe of. The Bellas also react to the unexpected news that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are now married, something that caught them off guard and touched on a few other headlines that have dominated pop culture lately. Nikki & Brie bring back a favorite fan game, Buzzin' with the Bellas! We learn which Bella threw a drink at another girl, why their boys are suddenly fascinated with putting things in the toilet, borrowing from one another without returning, which one of them rented an infamous sex video, why they love moonshine, embarrassing hair cuts, maid of honor dresses, borrowing underwear, and much more. The Bellas also touch on feeling overwhelmed and how to clear physical, mental, and emotional clutter to create balance in life on all levels. Tune into “Biography: WWE Legends” Episode Airing Sunday, July 24 at 8pm ET/PT on A&E and, call the new Bellas Podcast voicemail line at 855-3BELLAS, with your questions for Nikki & Brie, and they'll answer them on next week's episode! Nikki and Brie had two very different experiences this weekend. Brie stayed in Tahoe with Bryan and the kids while Nikki went to Atlanta on a work trip that included riding in fast cars with Dale Earnhardt Jr. and hanging out with Bianca Belair. Nikki felt much better after a stomach bug wreaked havoc on the family, and the calm after that storm has allowed Nikki to live a caffeine-free lifestyle. She likes what she's experiencing so far. Nikki took the time to research for her upcoming bachelorette party on her flight which led to some incredible ideas 33,000 feet above sea level that all centered around popsicles. While she was at the NASCAR race to represent her new show, “Barmageddon,” on the USA Network, Nikki's day was full of adrenaline rushes and triple-digit-speeds. Nikki had a few observations about the drivers but a lot more to say about guys the pit crews. So if you're single and ready to mingle, consider swiping right on a tire changer or a jackman! Brie's weekend was a different kind of exciting because it was full of nudity. While boating with the family, Brie encountered multiple people without clothes and without worries. Now, after seeing all that skin glistening in the sun, her internal debate about getting a boob job has ignited once again. The Bellas also catch up on Bryan's guest appearance last week. And we get to hear how Nikki's answers to Bellas Choice compared to the responses from Brie, Bryan, and the audience! Dipping a toe into the pop culture pond, Nikki & Brie also played Nailed or Failed, covering such topics as sharing DM's from Doja Cat, Ryan Gosling's underwear, Florence Pugh's see-through dress, Elon Musk's decision not to buy Twitter, Nicole Kidman kissing, and much more. The episode closes with a The Bellas sharing special Inspiration & Affirmations. In a rare occurrence, we double down on the motivation, and we get one from Brie and one from Nikki.Follow Nikki & Brie on Instagram for exclusive clips from this episode
This week, Justin and Ben watch Fastlane 2015 and it is anything but fast...it's slow, the show is slow. Kane, Big Show, Eric Rowan, and Ryback are 4/6 of the slowest six-man tag, Rusev and John Cena set up a story (As do Undertaker/Wyatt, Sting/HHH, Stardust/Goldust, god even Tyson Kidd gets story time in this PPV), and Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan prove that you can make the exact same terrible decision...twice. Here's a classic episode covering WWF In Your House 16: Canadian Stampede, that was originally recorded in July 2021. ... The WWF in 1997 had some very, very good things, and some very, very bad things. Their July pay-per-view offering in Calgary, Alberta, Canada was one of the best events they produced that year. With a very dynamic and non-traditional babyface Hart Foundation in Canada vs. those American jerks of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Goldust, Ken Shamrock and the Legion of Doom, the roles would be reversed if you just crossed the border into the United States. Looking back, it may be one of the best angles in wrestling history. The Calgary Stampede is a staple event each year, so the World Wrestling Federation decided to piggyback off that and dive deep into the western Cowboy scene on this pay-per-view weekend. Nick and Vaughn discuss everything surrounding the event, where they were in life, and what they thought about each and every moment of this pay-per-view, and even the world of wrestling during this time period. The card: • Hunter Hearst Helmsley (w/ Chyna) vs. Mankind • The Great Sasuke vs. Taka Michinoku • WWF Championship: The Undertaker (c) defeated Vader (with Paul Bearer) • 10-Man Tag Team Match: The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart/Owen Hart/British Bulldog/Jim Neidhart/Brian Pillman) vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin/Goldust/Ken Shamrock/Legion of Doom (Animal/Hawk) BUT FIRST, we talk about the bombshell report by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com that CM Punk is in talks with AEW about returning to the squared circle, which joins another hot rumor that WWE is expecting Daniel Bryan to sign with AEW if he didn't already. Absolute needle-movers that could finally start the shift of the balance of power in professional wrestling. The guys discuss their thoughts on the reports and rumors and what they'd like to see happen. -- Follow us on Twitter [@_piccone] [@VaughnMJohnson] [@ShootersRadio] You can subscribe to The Straight Shooters on the following platforms: [Apple Podcasts] [Google Podcasts] [Spotify] [iHeartRadio] [Amazon] [Audacy] [TuneIn Radio] [Pandora] [Stitcher] [Spreaker] [

It took one documentary to re-frame an awkward interview into a life-changing experience for Nikki & Brie. This week The Bellas Open Up after a busy week that took them across the country and included The Bella Army, stomach bugs, missing diamonds, a LOT of slime, and celebrating the summer solstice in a very Bellas way. Then Nikki & Brie dive into their viewing experience of “Halftime,” the Jennifer Lopez documentary on Netflix. The Bellas and Jenny from the Block go way back. From blonde hair to outfit choices and work ethic, Jennifer was a huge inspiration for young Nikki growing up in Arizona. So it was a tremendous honor for Nikki & Brie when they had the chance to interview Jennifer for one of her movies. The experience didn't live up to Nikki's expectations and it stuck with her for a long time. So we fast-forward a few years, and after watching the documentary, Brie urged Nikki to do the same. After streaming “Halftime,” Nikki has a new appreciation for JLo and what she was going through professionally and personally during that infamous interview. The Bellas really connected with Jennifer's energy, the need to build other women up, and how it reflected their work as producers, personalities, and mothers. The Bellas have accomplished a lot in life already, but now they're motivated to connect with other women more and continue to chase their dreams in all aspects of life. Nikki & Brie close out this episode with a quote from Jennifer Lopez for Inspiration & Affirmation.

Nikki & Brie are still recovering from a fantastic experience at the 2022 BottleRock Festival in Napa. It's not just a music festival for them. It's the birthplace of Sister Sunday and a place where The Bellas have seen the hard work they've put into Bonita Bonita wines take off. Nikki & Brie had a mufti-layered strategy to get the most out of the weekend with maximum music, wine industry networking, taste-testing food from world-class chefs, and good fashion choices. On stage, the highlights included Metallica, Pink, Greta Van Fleet, 21 Pilots, and The Black Crowes. Offstage there was a great response to the Bonita Bonita cabana. Nikki & Brie have worked hard to make Bonita Bonita a success, one bottle at a time. It was a lot of work to manage their families and get the most out of their festival experience, but recharging the soul with music, sunshine, and wine was worth it. Then Nikki & Brie take on some trending topics in a new game Super Fab Vocab. From celebrity weddings to strollers, to aliens, prom, and Mercury Retrograde, The Bellas are never short on opinions. Nikki & Brie catch up after a hectic weekend that saw them experience very different weekends. Nikki had a difficult time moving into her new house after some unexpected bumps after a great work trip to Nashville. Acknowledging that her people-pleasing ways might have created a frantic moving experience, Nikki has vowed to stick up for herself and her family without hesitation moving forward. But Nikki is flowing freely now after some clarity and cleansing. Now there's nothing but sunny days ahead for Nikki and her family. Brie's weekend trip to Anaheim to celebrate Birdie's fifth birthday was a great trip, but it wasn't flawless either. But motion sickness, cranky drivers, and broken rides wouldn't stop Brie and Birdie from having a great weekend together. And Brie beamed when telling Nikki about an airport surprise. A little distance didn't stop Bryan from pulling out all the stops for Brie on Mother's Day, and Nikki's Sunday didn't go to plan after such a wild weekend with a big move after Matteo's nap schedule was derailed and could only be fixed with donuts and cheesy puffs, which leads to a great discussion about when and where to give into toddlers. Nikki also shares some exclusive details about her new game show with Blake Shelton and Carson Daly on USA Network and The Bellas reflect on growing up on a farm and love of Country music, Shania Twain, and Gwen Stefani. This leads Nikki & Brie to highlight some stark differences between the two of them growing up. Closing things out on today's episode and connecting with their country roots, Brie chooses a Dolly Parton quote for this week's Inspiration & Affirmation.Follow Nikki & Brie on Instagram for exclusive clips from this episode, and tune into The Bellas Podcast Instagram page every Friday at 12p EST/9a PST for an IG Live with Nikki & Brie!

This week, Opening Up is the tale of two sisters.Nikki & Brie spent the weekend apart and had VERY different experiences. Nikki tells Brie about her experience at the Neon Carnival with Artem. In a night filled with energy drinks, sake, sushi, bumper cars, and red-carpet dances, they turned heads everywhere they went.Brie initially turned down the chance to go to the Neon Carnival, but after hearing Nikki's stories, then she had FOMO. Brie was already a huge Shania Twain fan, and after watching videos of Shania on stage with Harry Styles, she's now a full-on fan of Harry. So now there's a significant chance that you see Brie at Coachella next year.
