WHW takes you back to December 7, 1988. Live from Chattanooga, the fourth TBS Clash of the Champions and during the final year of Jim Crockett Promotions. TBS had already acquired JCP and because of a over-the-top angle that aired on TBS, Dusty Rhodes was out as booker. But he was still in the ring battling Road Warrior Animal for control of the World Six-Man Tag team title belt, which is now lost somewhere in Tony Schiavone's attic...but that's another story. Here we have what should have been a great tag team main event: Ric Flair and Barry Windham against the Midnight Express; but having Jim Cornett and the Express as baby faces just seemed odd. Additionally, the opening match on the card went (gag) almost 30 minutes. Enjoy the holidays with a little taste of "Seasons Beatings."
