After the Robot Holocaust, Chris and Charlotte are left to talk about women with accents, goofy character design, classic 70s cinema, obscure corners of New York City, and avocado recipes.
Filmmaker and writer Jed Shepherd (HOST) joins us this week for a trilogy of films from a true visionary: Tim Kincaid. The 80's shlockmeister attempted to graduate from pornography into mainstream filmmaking with a trio of Wizard Video releases that truly defy description and just have to be seen to be believed. Whether it's the sleazy alien thrills of BREEDERS, the insane fantasy of ROBOT HOLOCAUST, or the bizarre post-apocalyptic robot battling of MUTANT HUNT, these films are sure to drop some jaws. The Spin Chagrin, a concept that finds Frank having to watch a movie he's never seen before based on the random spin of a wheel filled with off-the-wall genres, continues into its third year; the twist this year is that all the categories are quotables from Frank himself. In this episode, Frank's category was "I Got You.” For this category, he watched and reviewed a little-known "hidden gem" of the Chagrin called Robot Holocaust where "a highly unlikely band of heroes traverses a post-apocalyptic wasteland to rescue a scientist from the tyrannical Dark One and his army of robots."
We're keeping our promises and revisiting I Accuse My Parents - both the MST3K and our episode! We discuss how far the podcast has come, as well as our takes on a re-viewing of this film. Update: Jimmy is still a liar.Host segments: she goes off like a rocket; Joe's finally formally apologizing; the bonus Robot Holocaust retrospective; let's talk Dorothy Blumenstock Jones; what's the deal with Jimmy?; Is this really a war film?; a very special message from Al Frazier; but make it supernatural.
This episode goes out to all the Air Slaves and Free Bots out there. Hop in the Pleasure Chamber and feel the groovy vibes of this post-apocalyptic classic, Robot Holocaust! Theme music by E.K. Wimmer www.lasergraves.com Instagram @lasergraves
This week, we explore the post-apocalyptic world of Tim Kincaid! Better known for his extensive filmography in gay porn, Kincaid (AKA Joe Gage) directed three films for Charles Band in the mid-80s, including these two, shot back-to-back with some of the same cast and crew. Mutant Hunt takes place in a future where the 80s never died, where Devo-impersonators with names like "Z" and "Domina" experiment giving psychedelic sex-drugs to "cyborgs" in order to turn them into Mutant Killers. Robot Holocaust explores a post apocalyptic wasteland (just beyond an intact New York City) where feminist warriors, annoying droids, and a mutated nomad battle against the Dark One and his minions. On this episode: repurposed musical scores, truly prophetic technology (e.g. smart watches in the 80s!), expendable pleasure droids, confused terminology, mutating sex drugs, stoic mercenaries, nuclear-wasteland bike trails, avocado cocoons, a giant spider (leg-only), breaking union-strikes via oxygen depravation, lessons in man-hating, and incompetence at every turn!

This week, we received a request to review the illustrious 1987 masterpiece, Robot Holocaust. You know me, I'm not one to back away from a challenge, but I will admit that I did consider it. What can you expect from a movie aptly titled Robot Holocaust? Whatever you're picturing, that's basically what it is. Just throw in some sock puppets and you're there. Everyone is capable of good work, as we often say, but is this the limit of that theory? Only one way to find out… www.patreon.com/badmoviescast

My first episode where I paired with fellow MST3k expert fans/filmbuffs Candy, Daniel (Nightmare Nerd), Ryan (The Coolness Chronicles) and Corey drops today. We take 10 classic Horror genre films that originally got riffed on this program and retool them with A-list (even somewhat more awesome B-movie level talent) cast much to outrageously amusing results! We even got occasional steps further and detail who would direct/produce/score/write a better version so tune in for easygoing comedy. The movies picked are The Touch of Satan, Devil Doll, The Beginning of the End, Pod People, The Crawling Hand, Squirm, Robot Holocaust, Phase IV, Tormented and Hobgoblins. #JackedUpReviewShow #Podcast #MST3k #MysteryScienceTheater3000 #PodPeople #BeginningOfTheEnd #PeterGraves #ET #Alien #FrankGrillo #JuliannaNicholson #LawAndOrder #ThePurge #TimThomerson #FullMoon #CharlesBand #Godzilla #Gamera #Hellraiser #DougBradley #CliveBarker #HorrorMovies #Gore #Disgusting #Gross #Terror #HorrorFilms #Horror #TheIsland #PartsTheClonusHorror #MichaelBay #Explosions #RiffTrax #Crow #TomServo #Dreamworks #TheTouchOfSatan #Satanism #Sexy #MGM #RyanReynolds #CampyComedy #JaredPadelecki #Supernatural #MorenaBacarrin #Deadpool #DevilDoll #Puppetmaster #Chucky #HammerHorror #ChristopherLee #TheCoolnessChronicles #TheCrawlingHand #EvilDead #BruceCampbell #SamRaimi #IdleHands #SethGreen #RobotChicken #Stoner #ColeSprouse #Riverdale #Disney #ChloeGraceMoretz #CarrieRemake #DriveIn #Theaters #ComedyCentral #Manos #SciFiChannel #Netflix #IMDb #MessageBoards #InternetForums #JoeDonBaker #Mitchell #FinalJustice #Trumpy #StanWinston #EricRoberts #JoeEstevez #DavidMorse #TheBoy #Pinhead #MovieTrivia #Tone #Mood #Inept #ElevatorMusic #IdiotControl #CrystalMethod #ChemicalBrothers #NIN #NineInchNails #TrentReznor #AtticusRoss #GraceJones #Sade #Deftones #RobotHolocaust #Hulu #CaveDwellers #Ator #Uncut #Unriffed #Riffed #Sword #Sorcery #OutlawOfGor #Gor #TVsFrank #CrowTRobot #TomServo #Robots #Puppets #Misogynist #Unpleasant #SJW #Perverted #Hobgoblins #Gremlins #StevenSpielberg #80s #90s #Campy #CrankYankers #TheDevilsRain #Scientology #WillamDafoe #JamieGertz #LostBoys #RyanStiles #DustinDiamond #Screech #SteveBuscemi #ChristopherWalken #PulpFiction #DeerHunter #KTMA #Them! #KillerAnts #TerenceMalick #CompetentFilmmakers #DisasterMovies #TreeOfLife #WernerHerzog #PracticalEffects #WetaDigital #AndySerkis #PeterJackson #TheShining #BladeRunner #CreatureFromTheBlackLagoon #RutgerHauer #Grasshoppers #MorganFreeman #JamesEarlJones #OrsonWelles #Porkys #RichardBasehart #VoiceoverNarration #CaptainAmerica #Reporter #SpaceMutiny #RebBrown #CisseCameron #MarriedCouple #PushTheButtonFrank #ManosTheHandsOfFate #Halloween #JoeBobBriggs #MonsterVision #Memes
A highly unlikely band of heroes traverses a post-apocalyptic wasteland to rescue a scientist from the tyrannical Dark One and his army of robots.
Welcome to our 200th movie! Along the way there have been repeats and side quests, but 200 different films have graced our screens and we have settled on the oft requested and much maligned Wild Wild West! One would think the star and director of Men In Black would put together a better movie, but they would be much mistaken. Does it have a mechanical spider that is the subject of Kevin Smith's best story? Sure does! Do you see Will Smith's nakedness (yep, from behind after having sex in the town's water supply). Is it stunningly racist? Hoooooo-boy is it ever! Fun? Nope, not a bit! Here's to 200 more! The poll for our next month is closed! We are hunting humans for sport in September! Stay tuned for more polls in the future! In October we are doing a heavy hitters month of slasher films. We have chosen Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees, but you will chose the third, watch for the poll! A quick thanks also for those of you who came to see me perform Mega Shark Versus Giant Octopus with Cineprov. Next month on September 5th, we are riffing Robot Holocaust! Please continue to rate and review us! We are on iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, and now Spotify and could use the support; the more ratings you give the easier it is for others to find us. Also, do you follow us elsewhere? Facebook? Instagram? Twitter? Myopia? Also, for those of you who are truly film folks, I have created a Letterboxd page! Check out what episodes we have done here! We are a proud member of the ESO Network! Please join the ESO Patreon! How will Wild Wild West stand when we put it on trial? Host: Nic Hoffmann Panel: Daniel, Matthew, and Steve

We have returned in triumph to talk about the cripplingly boring film, The Dark Crystal! We love Jim Henson, but wow. Anyway, welcome to Season 6! This season we are changing a few things. First, as mentioned at the end of last season, we will be going down to every other week. While this means less episode, it should mean more quality and an opportunity to do more fun episodes and random bonuses. Next, we are still doing theme months, but we are going to let you pick most of the themes! Check Twitter and Facebook for the categories and vote! Finally, thanks for listening in for five seasons, here is to many more! A quick thanks also for those of you who came to see me perform Mega Shark Versus Giant Octopus with Cineprov. This week we take a look at Robot Holocaust and Brainscan from the Listener Suggestions. We also do a list breakdown from a very mainstream site of Holiday Horror Flicks.
Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and William Thrasher discuss Superman 3. Director Richard Lester returns from his work on the theatrical cut of Superman 2 to helm Superman 3 and leans more heavy into comedy this time around. An earlier screenplay for Superman 3 had Braniac and Mister Mxyzptlk as the villains, but after Richard Pryor did an extended routine on the Superman movies on The Johnny Carson Show, the script was rewritten to focus more on Pryor. Gus (Richard Pryor) is unemployed in Metropolis, but finds out he's a latent computer whiz. Greedy multimillionaire Ross (Robert Vaughn) hires Gus to help with his nefarious scheme. Superman (Christopher Reeve) has to save the day once again. We get some nice moments with Clark Kent reuniting with Lana (Annette O'Toole), an old high school friend back in Smallville. Other highlights of the film are Bad Superman fighting against Clark Kent in a junkyard, and Gus acting drunk with a security guard to gain access to a computer terminal. Too bad the plot's too complicated, most of the jokes don't land, and the pacing's damn horrendous. Mat found parts of Gilbert, a new documentary on comedian and podcaster Gilbert Gottfried directed by Neil Berkeley, to be moving. It's a personal look at his life and career. He caught The Disaster Artist in the theater and found it to be agreeable. It's a comedic look at the making of The Room, an infamous low budget drama that became a cult comedy favorite due to its poor writing and stilted line delivery. James Franco's loose directing helps capture the ramshackle feel of the movie it's about. Don't watch The Disaster Artist without watching The Room first. Thrasher has been working his way through the Harry Potter films again and found Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix to be his new favorite of the series. He also liked a rare Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode on the flick Robot Holocaust. Listen to this episode while wearing an oversized cowboy hat and drinking bourbon for maximum enjoyment. Follow the show on Twitter @Sequelcast2 Like our Sequelcast 2 Facebook Page The theme song to the Sequelcast is written and performed by Marc with a C. We delve into some dystopian futures this week as we look at 1986's Charles Band produced film Robot Holocaust and then take a trip to The Bronx to find a lawless society that is fighting against a fascist corporate regime in 1990: The Bronx Warriors. Seems a little too real now a days. We delve into other stuff we've been watching which includes a review of IT, Noah's trips to the cinema using Moviepass, and Bryan's horror filled weekend.
Oof. This was a tough one. But we endured. Host segments: FUCK that guy!, The Pleasure Chamber, Marble-Gargling Sluts, Do Robots Need Humans?, Gay Porn Directors and the Angry Dome

This week we suffer at the hands of our first previously MST3k’d movie, Robot Holocaust (1986). There are some out there that claim it didn’t happen but we have proof. Then we delve into the world of sequels both good and bad.
