Born with strabismus and severe vision issues, Ainhoa's early healing experience became foundational to her identity and later research. Her work highlights how stress, inflammation, and unresolved emotional tension can influence conditions such as myopia, astigmatism, and double vision. The conversation raises important questions about why glasses are often prescribed without investigating root causes like sinus pressure or chronic stress.Vision challenges can reveal far more than genetics or aging ever could. Perception reflects more than optics; it mirrors belief, physiology, and lived experience. If you're interested in trauma and eyesight, vision and stress, or improving eye health naturally, this perspective will shift how you understand sight itself. You'll Learn:[00:00] Introduction[04:54] Why Ainhoa threw her first prescription in the trash, and what happened afterwards[31:27] WHO data, COVID's catastrophic impact, and why 2030 projections are alarming[53:36] What the numbers actually show from the ClearSight method[01:07:21] The cases that keep proving what's actually possible with natural vision improvement[01:18:29] How screens damage eyesight beyond the blue light[01:47:35] How the sympathetic nervous system creates tunnel vision, and why presence reverses it[01:56:12] Multiple personality research, the three-hug story, and the emotional roots of specific eye conditions[02:10:53] What astigmatism, glaucoma, myopia, presbyopia, and retinal detachment each reveal about your inner life[02:36:59] What your specific symptom reveals about key relationships in your life [02:45:54] Nutrition, detox, and the liver-eye connectionResources Mentioned:Live to 100 | WebsiteA New World of Seeing by Natural Vision Educators and Dr. Ainhoa de Federico | BookDaylight Tablet | WebsiteThe Inner Cause by Martin Brofman | WebsiteAnything Can Be Healed by Martin Brofman | WebsiteImprove Your Vision by Martin Brofman | WebsiteRay | NetflixFind more from Ainhoa:ClearSight Method | WebsiteClearSight Method | InstagramClearSight Method | FacebookFind more from Alec:Alec Zeck | InstagramAlec Zeck | XThe Way Forward | InstagramThe Way Forward is Sponsored By:Paleovalley is 100% Grass-Fed Bone Broth Protein is a nutrient-dense, easy-to-digest source of collagen and essential amino acids. In this Jack Westin MCAT Podcast episode, Mike and Molly break down how vision works from start to finish, tying together physics (optics) and biology (retina + neural pathway) in the exact way the MCAT can test it across Chem/Phys, Bio/Biochem, and Psych/Soc.You'll learn how light refracts through the cornea and lens, why the cornea does most of the refraction, and how the eye focuses images onto the retina. Then we walk through transduction in the retina (rods and cones → bipolar cells → ganglion cells), how signals travel through the optic nerve, cross at the optic chiasm (by visual field, not by eye), relay through the lateral geniculate nucleus (LGN), and arrive at the primary visual cortex in the occipital lobe for perception. We also cover high-yield MCAT optics and vision topics, including:Cornea vs lens refraction and why LASIK reshapes the corneaFovea and why cones drive high-acuity color visionRods vs cones (low light vs color/detail)Myopia vs hyperopia and which lenses correct each (diverging vs converging)The blind spot and why it existsWhy real images are inverted on the retina and how the brain interprets vision
In this episode, Anant Sharma speaks with Hanan Eissa, Vice President of Marketing & PR at Atlantis Dubai, about the industry's blind spot and how it shapes the way hospitality builds brands. With a background in FMCG and agency strategy, Hanan brings commercial rigour to luxury hospitality, grounded in product, pricing and consumer psychology. Together, they examine how marketing drifts toward surface-level visibility, how sameness creeps in, and how reference points become too narrow. From launching Atlantis The Royal next door to an established icon, to backing ambitious creative decisions on a global stage, this is a conversation about clarity, conviction and the thinking required to operate at scale. They also discuss the commoditisation of "luxury", time as a defining currency of modern hospitality, and why the industry needs to widen its field of vision.

Did you know there are glasses available to slow the progression of myopia? Listen as Dr Monica Jong shares all about Stellest lenses and myopia control.
What is myopia? According to a 2019 study from the Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science journal, almost 60% of all humans will have some form of myopia by 2050. That means as many as 5 billion people will be short-sighted, unable to clearly see objects more than 5 yards away. And that's not at all; already one in three people suffer from myopia, a figure which rises to nearly 50% in some parts of east Asia! Some observers have labelled myopia an epidemic and researchers believe the increase is largely linked to lifestyle factors. We're spending less time outdoors and more time on intense close up viewing activities. I thought myopia was a hereditary condition What does daylight have to do with it? Is myopia a serious condition? In under 3 minutes, we answer your questions! To listen to the last episodes, you can click here: What is nuclear deterrence? What is the Wagner Group? Hey everybody, welcome back to Myopia Movies. This week we're tackling an action-silly Nicolas Cage classic: Con Air. And honestly—if you've never seen it before, I almost want to tell you to stop and watch it first… but our discussion is good enough that you'll survive either way. Fair warning: this episode got chaotic. So chaotic, in fact, that our newly married editor and panelist, Nur Chernnet, had to cut nearly 15 minutes of material. We went completely off the rails. What you're hearing is the best of what survived. We hope you enjoy the wreckage. As always, keep listening, keep subscribing—and now for some big news. If you're listening to this when it drops (mid-January 2026) and you're in the Metro Atlanta area, make sure you follow CineProv on Facebook. At the end of the month—the final Wednesday—we're launching a brand-new regular CineProv show. Even better, Keiko and Jeremy, two members of the Myopia crew, will be debuting their first show that night. Go support them. It's going to be great. One last thing: attached to this episode is a link to our Amazon Wish List. If you pick a movie from the list, not only will we cover it on the podcast (thank you for the support!), but we'll also record an exclusive, personalized riff just for you—attached to a DVD so you can watch us tear into the movie specifically in your honor. Check it out, see if anything grabs you, and as always—thanks for listening. How will Con Air hold up? Host: Nic Panel: Candace, Jeremy Directed by Simon West Starring: Nicolas Cage, John Cusack, John Malkovich, Colm Meaney, Mykelti Williamson, Nick Chinlund, Renoly Santiago, Ving Rhames, Dave Chappelle, Rachel Ticotin, Steve Eastin, Steve Buscemi, Danny Trejo, M.C. Dr. Glen Jeffery, PhD, is a professor of neuroscience at University College London and a leading expert on how different colors (wavelengths) of light impact cellular, organ and overall health. He explains that long-wavelength light (red, near-infrared and infrared) can enter the body and brain to enhance mitochondrial function and thereby improve metabolism, eyesight, blood glucose regulation, mood, hormones and more. We also discuss how short-wavelength light from LED bulbs can impair mitochondrial health and why balanced, full-spectrum light is essential for health. Dr. Jeffery shares simple yet powerful ways to use natural and artificial light sources to enhance your metabolic function, eyesight and longevity.
