New Zealand Olympian Sir Mark Todd has been given interim suspension by the British Horseracing Authority for repeatedly hitting a horse with a tree branch. In a video, Sir Todd runs towards the horse and hits it ten times. The former equestrian champion now trains racehorses in the UK - but he's unable to while investigations continue. He's also stepped down as a patron of the World Horse Welfare charity, which calls the treatment of the horse "disturbing". World Horse Welfare chief executive Roly Owers spoke to Corin Dann.

Canoeist Lisa Carrington may paddle her way into the history books today at the Tokyo Olympics. Yesterday she won two gold medals in less than two hours, and today she's targetting gold in the K1 500 and K4 500. Lisa Carrington is currently on a par with with two other legendary paddlers Ian Ferguson and Paul MacDonald, and equestrian Sir Mark Todd, as New Zealand's most decorated Olympic athletes.

Jesse Campbell - Young, talented and driven to succeed, at 21 Jesse became one of a small group of nine event riders selected onto the NZ Eventing High Performance Squad to be based in the UK. The squad included legends of the sport such as Sir Mark Todd and those at the forefront of Eventings future.Georgie Strang - Georgie was taught to ride by her mother Debbie (who rode for Great Britain in endurance) and she started her career by being a very successful rider in the showing world.
