Chris O'Regan talks to James and Michelle Silva of Ska Studios about how Salt and Sanctuary was developed. In the midst of gaming past independent games made their first foray into console platforms in 2007 when Xbox Live Arcade started supporting games being developed by small studios. Dishwasher Vampire Smile was one of the first games to appear on this fledgling platform and now, 11 years later, Ska Studios, the creators of that seminal title have returned with Salt and Sanctuary. Alex siempre ha dicho que para ver según qué películas, tenemos que estar en un estado físico y mental adecuado, especialmente si necesitamos alguna sustancia (legal, por supuesto) para flipar con cine como este. Hablamos de Cómo ser John Malkovich de Spike Jonze del año 1999 con John Cusack, Cameron Díaz y, obviamente, John Malkovich. Una película tan rara como divertida. Dark Souls ha sido una saga muy influente en el mundo de los videojuegos tanto que Ska Studios pensó que sería una buena idea en hacer su propio Dark Souls cómo un tradicional metroidvania. Salt & Sanctuary deja claro que tiene la influencia de la saga pero con su estilo particular, unos gráficos en 2-D lúgubres, tenebrosos y unos enemigos que da miedo enfrentarse a ellos. Pero Isma no se rindió y supo darle su merecido. E Isma ha mezclado una poción de regeneración con veneno para Zergs y la ha liado parda.
